I know how you feel.
I can relate with what you said!!!! It's so disheartening to know that's what they think of you but know this-God sees you and knows your heart and that is the ONLY one who's opinion matters!!!! No one is perfect and usually the other person who is making the accusations subconsciously is deflecting the opinion of you bc that is what they are struggling with or that is their problem or issue and it has NOTHING to do w you!!!!! People who are judgmental know they lack in their own way and portray that onto other people!!!!
Someone once told me "Lisa why do you even care what they think?! Do you even value their opinion and trust their judgement?!!!" And I didn't!! So it was a lightbulb moment that their opinion meant nothing to me!!! But it hurts and you want to defend your character but if they think so low of you why bother to even try to change their mind!!!!

I just want to thank you for not let the critics or media stop you. I have heard so much bad things about your ministry and I am amazed cause I heard your programs and teachings and its not at all what they said. You have no idea that you help me so much. Its been seven years since I first begin to hear you. God himself guide me to hear the teaching and it is rooted in the word of God. I appreciate this visit with you two. I had 11 children and went to school to become a nurse so I could take care of them. 3 failed marriages caused a lot of grief for me and them. Half of them appreciate what I did and the other half judge me viciously for not being home all the time and for not being a sports, PTA mom. I have cried at work in secret because I missed them and wanted to be with them instead of a career. Your discussion helped me to accept the best I could with knowledge I had. Now I raise 3 of my grandchildren. So, God must feel I am capable and He's the one who matters.

I always defend Joyce against her critics online. In my experience, she has helped me so much.
This was a great discussion. I'm also a very trusting person and it has hurt me. Rejection is an emotional hurt that no one enjoys going through. Thank God for His son. We don't need approval from man. Our Father will never reject us. Praying for discernment helps with these issues and we DO have the Holy Spirit to help us. Also keep in mind of Ephesians 6:12. Our fight is not with people but the spirit of darkness. God Bless ❤️

Yes being betrayed by people you trust is the hardest thing to go through. Not being able to defend yourself is just terrible. You just have to throw yourself on God and really trust that good will come out of it.

Fantastic stuff Joyce, I was wrongfully dismissed from my church, making it extremely difficult to attend churches normal. People ask me do I forgive? Of course but will I 🔥🔥 work there again? Hell no!
I randomly clicked on this video. Listened casually until it started hitting me to the core. When Joyce said in 14:21 that she imagined someone watching today needed to hear that right now, I felt spoken to directly. I needed to hear this conversation so much. And I know this is no coincidence. I believe in God and I know He speaks to me and I believe He speaks to me through this. Yesterday, I also came across Jeremiah 9:4 'Everyone must be on guard against their friends, and ni one can trust their relatives; for all relatives are as deceitful as Jacob, and everyone slanders their friends.' And the timing is just perfect since for a week straight I have had persistent thoughts warning me to not over share, and to put my guard up even towards my good friends.
I'm grateful so much for you Joyce Meyer. I have stumbled on a video of yours starting last year, and I have watched probably a hundred or more videos from you, listened to your podcast, and read some of your books. Glad to hear this discussion. My ex has accused me of adulterous relationship- there was none. He’s turned my kids against me as a result. It’s been two and a half years. So hurtful. God is my vindicator! It just stings. Please share some pearls of what else I can do to get through this time. Thank you for all you do
I think we should straight away go to the feet of Jesus talk to Him about our hurts , I’m speaking to myself as well and need to put this into practice
I feel like I was the one the last line was for. There have been a few people that God has spoken to me about not opening up to, which now I am learning from my last mistakes and realigning myself. It’s painful, but I will trust Him to rectify it & to justify me.
In post COVID, at age 50, I've experienced so much crap and rejection from the church, I'm at the precipice of being permanently jaded and never going to church again

The most important word of encouragement if anything we hear from this chat is that GOD IS🙏 ALWAYS OUR VINDICATOR 🤗that we should never put too much trust in people - it didn't say He didn't trust His disciples, The Word said, He did trust HIMSELF to them. We cannot and shouldn't share everything in our hearts about us on our our homes our children our marriage our finances our ministry...Lord teach us to guard our hearts on a daily basis. To be discerning to be wise. May we learn to forgive each other very quickly. May we listen to You Holy Spirit when those RED FLAGS 🚩 dangle in front us concerning people we're about to open up to. 🙏

Dear dear Joyce I certainly needed to hear you speak on this topic. I have felt the sting of criticism and judgement that has seemed constant relentless and merciless. The mentality of many in the world today is to believe the very worst of others regardless of their source of information. Its true that many dont care about whats true they feed on causing grief for someone. One rumour can cause the onset of accusation and assumption that ruins ones life. Sometimes I think if they ripped me open they would see a torn and tattered heart within as they credit themselves for the destruction. Then cause even more. God keeps me loves me holds me and knows me ...my heart in this I can trust. Grateful to tears for that knowledge.Thank you for this message people need to be loved and accepted for who they are and where they are in this moment in time. They need prayer. Those who speak of others in this manner are dangerous to the mind body and spirit. This is the time in history when we must build up others who are unaware of their soul essence their purpose and their power to fulfill their destiny. It is crucial right now for people to be able to stand, heal, stop evil at its onset and have the ability to heal the results of evil. Power is in the light as are the gifts of the spirit. There are so very many unopened gifts in heaven. Love you Joyce and all you do❤❤❤🙏🦅
Im usually the one who does the criticizing and judgementing , also i know ive also been criticized and judgement, over n over again.I understand how much it hurts. Now from watching your video Joyce Meyers, How much i Should not do it, and Ask God to Help me to Stop doing it, and To love my Neighbor,my sister n brother instead. Amazing I watched this now when I have just been praying to God about rejection I have been experiencing so great to hear this from Joyce makes us realize everyone goes through this and as Christians we face rejection much more than worldly people and being falsely accused. As Joyce says she believes the enemy wants us to feel rejected to keep us moving forward.
This conversation helped me realize how deeply a church break-up affected me.
Mathew 5:11-12 sums this beautiful candid conversation up very nicely. I love how the Bible says in verse 12 “be happy about it! be very glad!” I pray that everyone going through rejection will “be happy about it! be very glad!” Our Heavenly Father knows and will fight our battles. Amen

I understand totally. My family turned on me, friends...some who were close to me for many years, CHURCH PEOPLE made up lies...I could go on but wont. Do not pay any attention to ANY of it. That has been the story of my life and the enemy has had a big part in it. But these days I'm more aware and seek out side help to process the lost and trauma in my life for healing and growth and aware of the enemy . Praise lord Jesus christ . 🙏 Amen .

This hits home. God is the one best friend I trust now . I had friends turn on me cancel and lie on me after 28 years...After months of grieving ...and finding peace with true friends...ive found peace in Jesus !!! I'm down almost 50 pounds and my family is ...who I know will always be there .

You gotta be careful with some people and trust the lord to lead you. He'll tell you who you can and cannot trust. Yet sometimes things happen and you still get hurt. That shouldn't stop us from trusting everyone but just lean on the lord to heal the hurt and trust him to send the right ones into your life.
I have been judged a lot recently to the point where I question my own religion. I have been asking God to help me forgive those people for judging me. I continue to remind those people that only God can judge me. We may not all have the same opinions but we definitely have a right to our own opinions and our own beliefs. I feel like the Lord wants us to follow Jesus over all❤️🙏🏼

Yes agree - emotional damage takes as long to recover from as physical.... remember being told to not lift anything emotionally after my husband passed for 6 weeks like surgery - it really helped

I really did need to hear this today. People that I had been friends with for a long while still don't believe that I didn't want something to be. And then betrayed my trust with it all.. It can be so hurtful and I'm still hurt, but by the grace and mercy of God I know that I will be able to get past it all and move on to where He is taking me. I am Catholic. I served in the church as an usher Eucharist minister and a sacirstaian. I enjoyed serving for the Lord. People put me down and I was asked to leave all posts in the church. That very much hurt. I thought you put someone down that is service to God then you do it. I was accused of many things. From at one church taking money which I didn't nor I wouldn't . Those are gifts to GOD. Then at the church I did the most ministry I was asked to leave the altar. Very hurtful.

I have a 30 yr relationship with a sister in Christ that’s been fun and surfacey and changed drastically when I addressed an issue in love. In her mind time means we’re close friends but her reaction and way she handled this situation opened my eyes. Four years later I feel I need to prove myself. She’s very distrustful, envious and bitter. She’s very interested and pursues my closest friends which makes me very uncomfortable. I would be okay to not have anything to do with her but she keeps popping up and because she’s fun and charming our mutual friends like her. I’m praying daily to love her out of Gods love. My human-ness is filled with anxiety even thinking I have to be around her. My husband says it will run its course because she loses interest quickly with these friends ~ they can go for months to a year without hearing from her. But with FB she’s all over trying to set things up that in reality rarely happen.
Thank you Ginger. At the end there where Joyce asked you about getting checked by God. I to am very trusting and like pretty much all ppl…..isn’t it funny how God will leave the most impactful answer at the 11th hour!😂
