I did that for a while but I felt like I was spending more time looking for where I put something than I did anything else! That and after a while there was just too much stuff to dig through! Those bins and parts bags have really helped keep all the bits and pieces straight and I can find things so much faster now. If I need a 3mm spacer and I find it quickly, something I could not do before!

Glad you both enjoyed it and always glad to hear that you were able to get some giggles from it and possibly some ideas as well. Those bins and parts bags really have helped me a ton to stay on top of things and be able to find things when I need them instead of rummaging through boxes of stuff for lord knows how long until I can find what I was digging for! I started with 3 or 4 and then 5 or 6 more and now I think I have about 30 of them, there are more out in the garage. They also work great for restoration projects too!

It took about 20 minutes to get it together overall and get it hung, only slow part was I had to wait for the paint on the wood to dry.

You can find 2 packs of the yoga blocks for $15-20 usually. I have an airbrush but rarely use it, I tend to still use the Tamiya spray paint as they match the box art and they work really well. I like when everything has a home and I am able to go right to a spot and know things should be in there. I really dislike knowing I have a part but not being able to find it as it is buried in a sea of other stuff. Now I can fairly quickly go over and find a bag of spare body posts or servo saver parts and see if I have one I need versus rummaging through a big pile of parts trees to try and find it!

Hey there Brice! I have seen you shop so I know you have a bin out there for pretty much everything! I think once you get to a certain point you are swimming in bits and pieces and have to organize or drown! LOL! Those bins and little parts bags have saved me tons of time digging through things looking for that one specific part or pieces I need.
Foe the Tamiya parts bags I tend to just look for lots of parts bags on eBay and if I find a deal I will grab them. The higher end kits tend to have more variety to the hardware but also tend to be more specific for applications too. I love the DT03 parts bags as they have a lot of the black self tappers and the shoulder screws for the suspension and shock mounting. Those are nice to have on hand for restoring things and I like the black hardware over the silver for some things. I have a single silver screw sticking out like a sore thumb!
