We're still searching for italian voices to our vids. Please contact us at coresublimeyoutube@outlook.com
My brother and sister-in-law both fluent I'll pass it on my nephews and nieces too
The old footage is priceless, you’ve got some serious archive. Also enjoy the commentary, dripping with sarcasm 👏
@Franklin Swimmbladder3 oops, forgot to turn on color 😉
These videos document the REAL history of cycling. Year after year we watch and listen to Phil and Bob praise the incredible efforts, the unbelievable performances of the various stars in the Tour, then you watch these videos ad realize--yes, incredible and truly unbelievable: it's all a sham.
The ol battle 🪓😂😂😂😂😂
These videos are amazing. Your timing. Storytelling, use of the pause, alongside the videos have me laughing out loud as I drive down the road. Thank you
"Clinging on like a tick to his rivals in the climbs" priceless 😂
Phil liggit called him a limpit
A RUclips channel only about doping in cycling that's all I needed in my life 🔥
"... like a tick..." lol
Enjoy your videos about the notorious doped cyclists. I want to look away from cycling, but like that moth I am drawn to the golden light, although in my case at a 20-25 kph.
Great work as always! I love your videos. Part of it is "cycling-history-education" for me and part of it is just fun :D
Maybe dedicate an extensive episode to the mirculous rise of US-Postal? Another idea: a feature on famous doctors and how they jumped from one team to another until the present (maybe also include that these doctors also treat the famous football players).
Keep up the great work.
Best regards from Austria,
Chris
02:30 was that a Norm Macdonald joke reference.. ?? 😆
Reality surpasses fiction. What a sad story. Good job and thanks.
The old battleaxe
Are you by chance a norm macdonald fan? I appreciate the references, and they make me smile each time :-)
1:57 “Orange Juice”
Up till the surprising time trial and podium in the Tour you could have been telling the story of Bernhard Kohl as well
Thankfully there are subtitles. 👍👍
Rumsas family lived in Lucca, Tuscany, for awhile. Close where I live (Pistoia, same region)
Two years ago I met during a ride Vincenzo Nibali (he grow up in same area when he was a youngsteer and he has his junior team), last year I met Edita Pucinskate. But I never met Rumsas family and I don't know if they live still here.
RIP his son.
Location envy.
I spent a couple of weeks training at Artimino near Firenze. Great riding area!
@@TesterAnimal1 Yeaaaah, Artimino, Comeana, Carmignano, Seano, Pinone, San Baronto! :)
that's funny, danish TV2 just posted an article on Rumsas' story today, maybe they got inspired by this video heh
Excellent! Every fool who thinks doping is a VICTIMLESS crime because everyone is using PEDs needs to consider this video/story. Every sport, bodybuilding, wrestling, T&F . . .
Nice music.
Absolutely love all of the archeive
Good story. Like many at the time, I was naive about EPO, the pro peloton, etc., etc. ......duped by the Best. Older and wiser now. Well done!
It was clear as hell back then. Not today. It's very clean now
@@drunkensailor112 😅😅 yea sure
@@StanislavGrabchev they are riding slower than 30 years ago.
To note, regarding who the Lithuanian cycling GOAT is - Isakas Anolikas gets my vote, because of his story more than his wins. Not sure how one would evaluate doping in his era, but I’d be surprised if he wasn’t clean.
Way to go buddy!
Clinging on like a tick 🤣
Like motorsport, you have stock car racing and prototypes...
These guys were silhouette racers: from the outside your see a human, but inside there's a T800.
Hasta el Tourmalet, baby.
Why the re-upload..?
And what about the current Team Jumbo?? Superhuman effort! May they never be caught.
When will we have Rasmussen and Riccò?
He’s done Riccò. The guy is a clueless antivaxer. After nearly killing himself by transfusing unrefrigerated blood!
Can you imagine a criminal on the TdF podium? Lolololol.
Dat musac🤣!
Best thumbnail ever
😂
I thought it was just weight lifting 🏋️♀️ that had cosmic levels of doping
I wonder if he knows Mike O'Tren
Long story short, they were all doped to their gills :D
Nowadays they do altitude training, before they used EPO or blood transfusion. But its all about the same thing: increase the level of red blood cells. So nothing changed really. EPO use is just more efficient.
With epo they got their blood levels to ridiculous hematocrit values. You can't do that on altitude. That's why despite all advancements in the sport they now ride 3 minutes slower on alpe dhuez compared to the mid 90s
Altitude training goes back to the late 1960's and events were encouraged in high locations just to beat records (eg Moser in Mexico 1984). Yes, EPO is more efficient but has health side effects as do other doping routes cause. Perhaps EPO resulted in the death of Rumsas's son?
Stupid comment. Altitude training won't thicken your blood so much as to cause your heart to give up in your sleep. EPO abuse has killed a large number of young healthy sons.
The Ochoa's we're the Cali cartel.
2 criminals on the podium of the tour, you're wronging
Dont you ever show something positive in cycling
Yes. A positive in doping.
@@cyclingstories touché
Not sure why you are vilifying this or any particular rider for doping when they were ALL at it. But entertaining nevertheless :-)
You really need a new Speecher, its hard to understand sometimes
Saw our football channel and told us
Doping is good it should be legalised in pro sport
Still the best cyclist from Lithuania 🤣🤣
PLEASE KEEP TELLING US THE TRUTH ABOUT ALL THESE TRASH MEN!!! THANK YOU!
Yeah, how doping is amazing can be told by Rumsas son... oh, wait... Brought a lot of shame to Lithuania. Nobody talks about him here.
Rumsas was great..loved his racing style..doped riders were ok
That's the irony with watching cycling: doped performances are a riveting spectacle. But to the clean riders, it must be frustrating.
You must be very naive if you think that you can achieve pro victory without doping.
When does he say that?
Sean Kelly & Stephen Roche did, apparently. Never been featured on here.
@@peterwest5525 😂 you are joking? Have you read Breaking the Chain? And do you think it’s a coincidence the other one’s career miraculously resurrected when he moved back to his old Italian team in his early 30s. Also features heavily in the Comconi files.
@@simonworsley8631 Have you heard of sarcasm ? This appears to be an Irish channel that points the finger at every cyclist , except their own.
They are winning now without doping.
You acuse everyone of doping so
funny how certain Irish cyclists weren't involved 🤑
They were all on the same drug cocktail...by reason, he was just as good as any of 'em
【promosm】 🎉
doping is amazing 🥰❤💊💉🩸
