    Fun fact:
When Riis won on Hautacam in 96 he climbed the mountain more than 2 minutes faster than Vingegaard. Even though the whole stage back then was more than 50 km longer, he rode alone for a longer period and more aggressively attacking plenty of times before that and also of course riding with old technology heavier bikes. You can see the same interesting statistics for Alpe d'huez that they somehow climbed faster back then in the 90s and 00s.. so I guess that if they are still doping it is not as potent as it was before? Or maybe cycling has changed?
Anyway regarding Vingegaard, just to mention, danish doctors back in 2018 already concluded that he has a very unique heartfunction pumping much stronger even compared to other professional athletes.

In simple terms, it was because he was skinny. According to Michael Rasmussens autobiography however, the nickname came to be partly because of a famous danish children show called “bamse & kylling” (basically “bear and chicken”, or “teddy bear and chicken”), and partly because of a danish singer called Flemming Bamse Jørgensen.
He rode with the national team as far as i recall, and had a teammate called Flemming. They called him bamse. At some point one of the other riders said “then we just need a chicken”, and Michael Rasmussen came in right after he had said that without his shirt on, looking like a skinny, plucked chicken.
That’s according to The Chickens autobiography at least, though it sounds a little weird perhaps.

What I hate about all of this most is that its not only a cyclist problem , any athlete , will always search for better, faster , whether its in formula 1 or any sport. They always have been searching to do better , with getting and searching for better gear, clothing, and yes a better body . Humans act that way , but do not think its only sports , corperate is similar, more more "better", some have coke on the fly so you can work harder faster etc. It is a social problem not only of athletes ! Before Armstrong it was done in secret mostly on their own, searching for a doc that has the solution, and some had , you mentioned a while ago who you think was the first epo user. I think you are wrong at that. Epo was used before more knew about it , it could not be found since no one knew where to look for, only those docs or labrats knew . But yes I detest Armstrong for how he is/was as a human towards others , the narc as a leader . What I destest of the one here Boogerd, and also Neulissen is that both became reporters and acted holier then thou acts that bashed other riders who did the same as they did in public. The arrogance and hypocrisy was stincking hard. When you have to lie for years and years its hard to start talking real truth, their own reason for taking it, and not refushing . Some do it for fame , to push their ego , some do it because of a low self asteem , some because they think they are forced to , some for money etc. etc. And whether its corporate , politics , or sports , f. ing others over is always the lowest . And what most athletes forget there is also a life after your young body becomes to old to do what you always did. What always also scared me is that those athletes have wives and make babies , did any of their trusted Ferraries ever reseached the effects of those drugs on babies ? I grew up in cycling and always loved the sport to watch it I mean . But I found it is just a group of humans with great cycling abilities , and also a representation of all of us, humanity in every way of dealing with life . In corporations they also silence you when bad shit happens , and treaten to , to fire you , if you get my drift. And dont get me started about politics . 🤭😵‍💫🙈🙉🙊

@@irl-cyclist01 yes they didn't get ONE SINGLE result!! They won the team classification in 2021 but it's going to be interesting to see what comes out after this raid. I think it's being kept silent for now and then they will try and release the information in the quite season in hopes it doesn't catch too much attention but everyone is waiting to hear what comes out so it won't get swept under the rug. I'm just wondering if the raid came up with ANYTHING for EVIDENCE or PROOF. Have you heard anything about the findings yet?

Dwfinitely a bizzarre description of boogerd's career!
    1) Always using lance Armstrong as a comparison for the results of the belgian classics, as if he were a strong contender in those races, while he never was (ok, he had some good finishes in Amstel, liege and others, but he was no Bartoli, Just to cite One name, and not even close to those names)
    2) Always speaking about Epo in italian soccer: infact Epo was massively used in many sport in Italy, but there Is no evidence whatsoever that in soccer as well, no evidence came out despite some long trials, for ex the One involving Juve.
    3) boogerd not taking Epo at 99 tdf?!? Did i hear correctly?!?
    4) you are telling that boogerd's good part of career ended there, while he was aajor contender inany belgian classics for other 5years, in particular id like to remind his High finishes in amstelalmost every year
5)he was a complete cyclist, but he was no good for Grand tours, for alpine stages, and also he was not that fast at sprinting, often outsprinted by riders like museeuw bartoli di Luca etc, he was even outsprinted by rebellin Who Is not fast at all, but ive to Say that that finish was a steep one

Name & shame all those who have been found guilty of doping. Each & every one of them cheats of the most beautiful sport there is. They have tainted the sport & make people with little knowledge about it, think all riders dope.
WHICH IS NOT TRUE AT ALL.
As a former rider & team mechanic, they disgust me.

oh stop it already..if rogla or wout were doping, they would have won atleast one more tour and several more classics. but they didnt. it shows they are human. As a matter of fact, none of the current greatest riders have managed to keep a streak up. Bernal. pogi. rogla, wva, mvdp, loulou, G,
