rab day I never met him in person, but I felt very close to him in spirit. I really truly loved the guy for how his mind worked and for what he inspired people to do. He made me better at what I do (I'm a software engineer) because he showed me sometimes you can try to do "the impossible" even when others think you can't. Wish I could have met him. RIP Steve. :)

There are many different kinds of genius, he was a genius at storytelling, philosophy and product design. Woz would present him technology and he had a vision of what it could be in the future, the magic of how to make the user care and love the device. Just look at the 1984 ad and the original design of the Macintosh (its art). Its like Aron Sorkin wrote in his script "I play the orchestra, you are a great musician, you sit in the front, you are the best in your row". I get why an idea for an ad would make him cry, that happens to people who love art, that happens to people who are passionate about what they are making.

It’s a shame because he’s really kind of portrayed as a narcissist from the movies and quick sound bite pieces on tv. But of course he was a complex human being that surely had regrets on how he handled certain aspects in his life but of course made amazing accomplishments in his life. Apple really hasn’t been the same without him.

I think the 2015 movie perfectly describes him.
By the third act, he’s still a flawed human being, as we all are, but he’s notably changed over the film.
The scene between him and sculley at the end was amazing.

So pretty much Steve Jobs did to Lisa like his real parents did to him. Crazy all these people talk about is the products yet never Lisa that was talked about the most in the past. Apple literally had a computer named after her. I’m glad his daughter finally came out. All these people want to do is speak about the tech side of it while she spoke about the inside part of it. Yeah money truly does change people. I’m glad he other 3 children didn’t have to go through what Lisa had to go through. You would think the aunt and step mother would lift Lisa up but nope. Lisa was the real driving force behind Apple. If you look at all the pictures of Steve Jobs history of holding a child and watching that child grow up via the tech industry yup you guessed it that was Lisa. She didn’t care for his fame she just wanted his love and acceptance. It brings tears to my eyes that a multi billionaire was still loved by his daughter no matter what.

Today the products seems less fresh, less user friendly, less intuitive, and more distractive.

This book is VERY thick, 650+ pages. It took me 3 months, speed reading, to finish it. First, if it’s not obvious yet, I admire Steven Paul Jobs a.k.a. Steve Jobs very much. First thing first, this book will shatter all your prejudices about the man-the legend-Steve Jobs. Walter Isaacson does a phenomenal job chronicling the life of Steve Jobs as told by Jobs and those that knew him best (“My mentor always told me, write biography chronologically,” said Isaacson repeatedly throughout his interviews). Throughout this book, I learned the man himself.

Steve Jobs had aspergers and he closely hid his personal feelings but he very deeply cared. He was a caring person. Okay not like a priest or a religous person but someone who cared about relationships friends and apple. The technical definition of a genius is someone who has an IQ of over 141.
Lewis Terman (1916) developed the original notion of IQ and proposed this scale for classifying IQ scores: Over 140 - Genius or near genius. 120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence. 110 - 119 - Superior intelligence. 90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence.Apr 12, 2004

Some people with aspergers can have a High IQ and a low EQ or personality. Steve Jobs failed in his first relationship but his second family he was a very successful husband and father. Every Genius is different. I try hard to fit into society and use tricks, reading people, making personal observations and open ended questions. BUt since im so tall and my mind so strong. I make people feel uneasy.

+Konstantinopoljski thanks for your thoughtful reply polashki. Steve Jobs and Steve woz have really been interesting studys for.me.in computers. they really got alot accomplished. here are a number of interesting facts you may be aware of since I have been working on apple.mothership. apple car, apple is offering a $250,000 sign on bonus for apple car engineers. this is well above the $85,000 engineers get in silicon valley. as you know housing in silicon valley is very expensive. this has forced.Tesla to raise its employees pay to keep employees. a lawyer with a law degree makes about $125,000. the main complaint that employees have with apple is health. the hints that Steve Jobs dropped at apple was that most of the offices apple rents are sick buildings. a common problem with government buildings in Maryland which are full of asbestos and legionaries desease. apple mothership will circulate fresh air from outside 10 out of 12 months out of the year. heat can be regulated through outside temperature timing. warm air can be pumped in during the day and cold air at night. the building with have a health center and gym. Steve Jobs also had a.personal cook. apple campus 2 will have a healthy cafeteria. and employee s who are healthy can walk from.parking garage 1 and 2 through the %85 Greenspace. this is a huge step for apple and a real blessing for the people who work at apple. this will not change the culture at apple but it's a start. and it's okay to criticize a person or a company. if its done in a good way... there are ways to do it that can help people improve. and sometimes criticizing someone to change.can help improve their business and character. thanks again for all your insightful comments. and sorry about my strange.smart phone vernacular.

You have no idea because you weren’t there. His daughter was brainwashed by her mother. Her mother wrote a book just like she did trashing Steves with no good sense. Lisa‘s mother was an artist who never wanted anything at the time and wouldn’t get a real job Ed expected Steve to pay for everything which she would not do at that time. No it wasn’t. There is an interview on RUclips of the guy who was literally responsible for Jobs leaving Apple (John Sculley), where he says that Jobs was a profound idealist and didn’t care about money and success. I mean of course both occurred in the end, but he was really motivated by doing good things for the human race. Who are you to come here on a RUclips video and spit your sentence on a guy you didn’t even take the time to research about?

Steve was, most definitely, a genius of our time.
Just go look at the shit he was saying back in the 70s and 80s. Then imagine a world without him.
All of our technology would be absolute clunky garbage and could be broken up into a million pieces. You also wouldn't have Tesla or SpaceX or Surface Pro or Galaxy designs. He pushed the human race forward by demanding consumer tech be simple and easy to use, in order to democratize the access to powerful communication, creative, and administrative tools. RIP Steven.
