His last creation was the tablet in 2010. What has Apple created since? The Watch? AVP? I would argue that the Mx-series ARM processors are their best product, but those processors were the direct result of Jobs buying Palo Alto Semiconductor (a RISC house) in 2008 for a mere $278M.

When people say things like "he or she is the new Steve Jobs", they're full of shit, because they have to be. I've seen what they've got and it's not this. Not even close.
(1) Vision of how humans will behave and want to behave (2) Vision of how technology will evolve and integrate, and interim steps and timeline to achieve something useful at scale. (3) Ability to share and communicate those visions to people, and motivate by appealing (sincerely) to elevated values?
Like him or hate him, the people at Apple are musicians, and Jobs played the orchestra. Without his visionary traits, Apple would have just been another tech company.
