    Walter Isaacson is the worlds expert on living with passion. Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs they all have two key things in common--they changed history and Walter Isaacson recorded it.

      Except Walter admitted he got pulled into Steve’s delusional world. His writings about him is glamorized and probably not the truth.

      Steve Jobs was a mean guy. That is the fact. Had he not met Wozniak and later had he not go for a visit to XEROX PARC when he learned about Macintosh he would be unknown person, with spotty disciplinary record at his jobs.

    • @DwightAcorda
      @DwightAcorda 3 года назад +3

      @@annawarner1078 why these assumptions? Why project an opinion when character, regardless of how "mean" a person is, determines success?
      Steve Jobs has all the traits of the successful. Ruthless, somewhat cunning bordering that of a psychopath, yet highly appreciative of the fine qualities of aesthetics that merge with ethical values of "challenging the status quo" and creating products that most of society wants. He created a need that people continue to buy today.
      I don't know Jobs well nor do I own any Apple products. However, it's worth appreciating what he has done for the greater good of society.

    I wish Steve Jobs is still alive
    He could have done so many major astonishing things if he were to still alive
    Because of his none sense religious knowledge he missed his golden time opportunity to fully recovering his cancer
    His having cancer could have been vanished with one good taking surgery his doctor strongly suggested him to do so
    But he doesn't want his body being open even though during entire his life spending time numerously opening up the computer inside part to figuring out what was causing the computer problem and to making better computer
    This was the reason why he doesn't want to having surgery
    Obviously interms of his making the products he wanted make his product perfect
    He never stopped working making product until it is perfect
    He was computer making genius but he did not have any clue what was going on inside part of his body

      Yes, that is what a good biographer does; he presents the life of his subject from different perspectives Isaacson does this very well. I think if you are going to tell the story of someone's life you must present them as human beings. Humans are glorious fallible creatures nobody is as one dimensional as popular media would have us believe.

    Isaacson seems content to accept Jobs' contradictions without further inquiry. Can draw no insights into leadership other than that there are different styles. Can't say anything on innovation other than "read the book". Lazy, kid-gloves treatment. He seems more of a stenographer than a biographer.
