I would also recommend The Miasma Chronicles. Turn based post apocalyptic rpg. Unique worl filled with mutant trees and giant talking frogs, trying to kill you😊

Guess I'm not your audience, since I knew about 13 of the 15, and about half of them I own and played for either a bit, or through. But I'm curious about your age now, because you mention games like Journey, which was an award-winning title in many categories at its time. Duke Nukem Forever also isn't exactly unknown, since it was in development for so long and Duke Nukem was a big name for decades. I agree though, that some of these are true gems, not many gave a fair chance to, so they might be worth a second look.

Oh no wait, you just talked about the Prison Break game. That game is a trash fire. Duke Nukem Forever is also a trash fire.
And then you talk about Journey? That game was one of the biggest indie games of the 2010s. It pioneered the indie game industry. It doesn't belong on this list.
The gravity rush games are awesome,the flying gravity abilities would work great in a superhero game.

Maybe next time you make a list say what platforms the games are on. Some looked good but do I really have to search for them rather than an on screen or verbal confirmation of where I can play them. Sadly some will remain hidden from me.
Most of this game have one or two good points but always fall into the "why did I wasted my money here" category for being completely forgettable after touching another title. Calling this list "insane" is quite the stretch.

Duke Nukem Forever is neither hidden, nor a gem. It's really well known for how bad it turned out. How is it a gem worth playing? lol
I mean, there are games out there that have gotten more shit than they deserved at launch and people started seeing the good in them only many years later, but DNF earned its shitty status.
it didn't really turn out as bad as people make it out though. it got hammered in reveiws because of it's long dev time , and the fact that the humor just didn't align with the social politics of 2011 (or today's) . the level design was ok with a few stand out spots.
it's average review was 55-70% outta 100% though. problem is people today think that means bad. when in reality it means most fans of the franchise will enjoy it and we do. but it's nto for teh mainstream or the die hard FPSer fan that isn't already a duke fan.
i really don't get what people expected from this The OG duke games were not these meaningful deep thought dives. the franchise was never a serious story game. shitty status ..no it was considered mediocre as a shooter, but an ok entry for fans. the only people that called it shitty outright were the now woke left that was upo and coming around 2011 buty now are full blown leftards.
I am alive needs a sequel, a reboot, a spiritual successor, or even just a re re-release. Was a great game for it's time.
I would change the title. MANY heard of Ethan Carter, Gravity Rush, Wanted Dead, Journey, Duke Nukem, etc.
I recommend Remember Me for its stunning visuals, interesting world and memory changing feature, but the combat might seem repetitive for some, and you only change memories like 4 times throughout the whole game.
Same for the Echo - visuals and the world are great, but the gameplay is average.
Cool video. Wanted Dead looks cool as does Scars Above. Atlas Fallen looks cool but the combat looks like McEffort. Loved Remember Me, Duke Nukem the original was my first videogame on PS1, Thanks.
Happy to say i know of and have played everything except Duke Forever... I'm ok with that ;)

Echo's adaptive AI is much simpler and more boring than this video suggests. There is a short list of actions the enemies can perform. All actions you perform during one round will be checked as "allowed" by the AI the next round. Like jumping or running. It only seems like an interesting system at a first glance, but quickly wears out.
For me, "Deliver Us The Moon" was the underrated and very nice gem 💎, completed it, and loved it. The sequel is not so much, though.😒
Echo is something i will never play, because i will not support something that is still traumatizing me.

Generation Zero is to me the most underated game ever..
I played half of games in this list and half didn't. Sure, these are not best games but looks like good experience.
I have heard of many of them, if not all of them. Sadly some kids do not, but I still feel the list feels weak. That is just my opinion.

Very strange top) Gravity Rush 2 much better than 1. Everybody Gone to Rapture and Whats remains from Edith Finch much much much better than Ethan Carter.
And real hidden gems its something like Condemned 2, the Darkness 1, Advent Rising.

Scars above is on sale I just bought it for like $7 on the PlayStation store. At that price it's worth it I don't know if I would pay more for any of these games
Played 9 from the list and the ones I didn't played I chose not to.
I mainly focus on AA games so I know a lot of good games that people simply never heard about, I don't really recommend those games because people are too addicted to mainstream stuff, and AA games don't offer that, things like shiny graphics, obsessive hand holding and so on...So I know they are most likely to hate those games, even if I think they are very good.

Asuras Wraith is legit, completely insane but great game
Hidden Gems are, Requiem Avenging Angel from 1999 and The Thing from 2002.

Yes, a couple of these I haven’t seen. But Journey? Duke Nukem? Are you seriously thinking that there’s any gamer in the world, bar none, who haven’t played them? They are among the most well known games of ALL TIME.

A Story About My Uncle is fit for this list
Remember Me is a wonderful puzzle game marred by an atrociously amoral protagonist and dull 3d AssCreed-derivative platforming. Yeah, the set pieces are pretty, but the truly innovative part worth playing it for - the memory remixes - are used like five times and take up a fifth of the playtime. The horrible "the protagonist thinks this is a good thing so it is a good thing" ending doesn't help any.
Yesssss!!! Majority of the concepts are amazing but the execution is poor... Except the dynamic music and the visual designs, that is top tier. But it falls short (not completely misses) on everything else. Still a nice B-tier-straight-to-dvd-movie-like 10 hours experience
No 14 and 13 are realy incredible games I love but I do not like that Remember Me isn't for the newer cosoles. I have it only for the Xbox 360. Am I Alive is also great. Asura's Wrath is realy funny even at the start with the ULTRA boss fight😂! Scars Above is another hard but awesome Souls like or more Remnant like game. I think more people should try those games you are talking about. I personaly try 'Never Alone' and Atlas Fallen👍👐
desert or snow theme game always drive me away no matter how good the game is i would play it for a couple of hours then drop it and never try it again 🤔
I have played all of these games, and there is a good reason if some people don't/didn't know about these games. Because they were pretty average at best, some of them were even below average like 5 or 6/10. And Journey was probably the better game among the list.
Tell about their prices too? They r not highly budget, so r good enough to me for enjoying...

Sorry but most of these titles might be hidden to some but gems they are not. In fact they are pretty much all average at best. That does not mean you can't enjoy them, just that there are better options, among hidden gems as well, in all these genres.
You can say that again for I am Alive. Most horrendous game I ever played and most certainly not a gem. More like a t*rd

I did not see any game that I would over 7/10 here. and there are some pretty cool games that went under thr radar this year like Children of the Sun or Mullet Madjack for example.

@@KrisP91I never played I am Alive, but actually, there are soooo many people who consider it a great game....Fallout New Vegas for example. I hated it, it's a hot broken gloopy mess, but apparently so many people hold it as one of the best games ever made!
I also played Remember Me long ago, and it was actually very good. It wasn't amazing, but it really managed to grab me in, and for me that's all that matters.
Atlas Fallen I never played, but I have a feeling it's one of those games that get snubbed, only for it to become widely appreciated many years after its release. Kinda like Mad Max, it's a really good game that was snubbed and ignored when it first released

From my experience I Am Alive is basically The Last Of Us retarded, inbred brother.
However, to each their own but if you plan to get it I'd recommend to do it on a steep discount as in my case it was way more frustrating to play it then fun

A lot of these games have mixed reviews on Steam
that could mean something, it could also not. we are in the age of review bombing if .01% of clothes are added to a character or if any character says anything perceived as "woke". I'm not saying any game here is good or bad, just that you have to sometimes look a bit deeper for game quality these days.

Wanted: Dead only has a good idea with bad execution, the controls are terrible not responsible at all and counter intuitive, the characters didint have any charisma and the story is generic.

How about RAD , that's a little know really enjoyable game. Kingdoms of amalur re-reckoning is another great game, pretty widely known, but not as much as Duke nukem forever
Remember me was sooooo awful, so disappointing. Good idea, good plot, good voice acting, good cut scenes... absolutely terrible button mashing beat 'em up game system... just terrible. Ethan Carter was unplayable trash.
I liked Ethan Carter. Not the best thing ever, but a nice visual novel.
I'm interested to know why you say that about Ethan Carter. I enjoyed it. It's not the sort of game that would suit everyone but I would hope that someone would refer to a game as "unplayable trash" only if there were genuine issues with the game and not just because it wasn't their cup of tea.
