If you ever wanna continue your journey and want answers to questions with no bullshit, i can dm you my Blizzard ID and help you out. My biggest pride/shame is that i know way to much about this game.
Hey bro, Blorthog here! I'm glad I could help you finish your quest travelling north. I really loved the intro you did for me, that was so awesome! Sorry about the krakens, I forgot they exist in the game 😂 If you ever need help again, just let me know! Safe travels
Pally Power ftw! My first toon was a Pally, still have her. The first helper in the game was for my next character- an NE Hunter who was having a hard time traversing wetlands for the first time. A Pally showed up and escorted me all the way to Ironforge and gave me 3g. That was a LOT of gold back then :D Never forgot him. Thank you for being the hero for Butch! This was so entertaining!
As an old WoW player I just want to THANK you for making me smile from head to toe! Your joy for the small things in the game both made me chuckle and smile all over. I was fishing in game while watching this, and you have no idea how many fish I missed because I was watching you instead of the ripple. Thank you for making my day better!
“I’d like to say I was fighting tactically, but in truth I was playing my keyboard like a piano” You sir, were destined to play a warrior. You’re on your way to greatness. As a side note, it was genuinely wholesome to see your child like excitement for the game, and your wanting to explore and discover. Too many players are very “pedal to the metal” and try to rush experience in order to get to the endgame asap. Blorthog, the Knight of the North, was one of my favorite parts of this video. He’s a true G. Anyone willing to goof off with you and just enjoy the fun of the moment is a good friend. It would be cool if you guys went on adventures together. I’ve played for 20 years and still discover things about the game I never knew.
@@pillepolle3122 People are to dumb to wander around? Instead they rather do highly complex mythic content? Because of all their dumbness? I mean that video was fun, but common thats nothign anybody would enjoy for more than a few hours. Dont be a fucking asshole like that.
I was swimming my pally over to Alcaz island to save the King from the underground jail and she got snagged by a boat and drug out to sea - then dropped off right in the ocean when it phased out in the fatigue zone. It was a trip lol
It’s crazy to think that most wow veterans never had and never will have the experience that this guy just had at the beginning of his journey. Nothing but joy and adventure!
I literally just spent over $100 to have Blizzard remind me what my glory days of WoW felt like.. and all along all I had to do was watch your video. Well Played my friend. Thanks for the memories.
I clicked on this expecting some run of the mill twitch stream VOD youtuber. But what I got instead was an amazing storyteller! This guy really understands the essence of what captures my amazement with these games, the personal adventures that I've had were all so memorable. For me, that´s what these games are all about!
Exactly this! I don't watch a lot of game play throughs, but the sheer adventure he took me on watching this earned my sub for sure! Really hope he does more!
Dude you should watch his ARK play through. lol I don’t even play ark and was invested the entire playthrough because of his story telling. This guy is doing something special that’s for sure.
After playing wow for almost 20 years, it was so awesome to watch you experience everything for the first time. When you've played for so long, you forget what it feels to do something like walk into Stormwind for the first time and be overwhelmed by the the city and walking around basically saying "Whats that...OH whats that...whoa WHO'S that, what is that weapon/gear/mount" ect.
I remember playing on release and I concur. This was the most entertaining WoW video I've watched in many years. Even though he's experience retail for the first time, it goes to show the awe of WoW is still there for new players and it made me feel so giddy inside to relive that feeling again with this fella. I want to watch an entire series of this until he has a break lol.
18.5 years here (though I did skip BFA and most of SL, was only there for the first 2 months, all in all a total of about 5 years away from the game). I recently came back for Dragonflight, and I'm glad I did, the game has done a complete 180 from its low point in Shadowlands when I quit (I thought at the time) for good. I started in patch 1.0.9 in vanilla.
Dude, just stumbled across your video and as someone who has been playing for 17 years your seriously captured the majesty of experiencing the game for the first time. I hope that if you do continue playing you keep that sense of wonder.
As a longtime WoW player since 2006, your video brought back memories of my early days in the game, and I'd like to share one in honor of a dear friend I’ve lost. When I started a new job at a game store, one of my coworkers introduced me to WoW. The very next day, he surprised me with a bag containing a copy of the game and a 60-day time card. His generosity, especially after knowing him for such a short time, left a lasting impression on me. Fast forward to the Pandaria expansion, we were still playing together when he fell ill. I was playing a Paladin at the time. I vividly remember our last adventures together. We said our goodbyes and logged out in the Shrine of Two Moons (a place you must visit). Tragically, he was soon hospitalised and passed away after losing his battle with cancer. To this day, my Paladin remains in the Shrine of Two Moons. I’ve never leveled, played, or moved that character-keeping it there as a tribute to him. Thank you for rekindling these memories. I hope you continue to enjoy the game. By the way, I now run a Classic guild that has been active since the launch of Classic. If you ever decide to play and need help, feel free to join our Discord! Link to Discord: discord.gg/EeHmcau - Dej
One of our guildies, in his 70s, died last year, and I renamed my PC after him. His toons were all Buzzwar, Buzzpally etc. We were two elders of the tribe but he had me beat by 25 years! We were the stalwarts of the raids always up for ONE MORE PULL! My computers network name is now Buzzboxftw! Our guild cheer after a boss kill is "For The Alliance and for Buzz!!!"
God bless your heart. Pray for him... more than ever, he needs prayers from those who cared for him while he was here. I pray your heart has came to peace with and for him.
This was such an amazing video! Really got me nostaligic for the first time I ever played the game. Glad you had a good time, would love to see you continue your adventures!
It's so sad that the new players skip over 10 years of lore, adventures, zones and amazingness, but it just has bloated too much. There should be an "adventure" mode where you can progress through all the expansions and let the lore and world massiveness to sink in.
@@philipframe6571 Just for example the old vanilla zones do not exist anymore. Yes, there is classic but it's a different game. And even if you could dabble through some of them somehow, It's confusing without extreme amounts of googling for the new player what to do next.
I know what you mean. I quit rs3 10 moths ago after 20 years and I am now playing my 3th month of wow. I went for classic cata bc who wants to pay for a game and subscription. In rs3 they just add content to the exsiting content. There is an insane amount of stuff to do in rs3. I was amazed how little you need to do in wow. Max out proffesions, clear elete dungeons, go in raid and done. Wow is defently trhe better game looking at what state rs3 is now. Im here to satay but it dus feel empty somtimes in wow cata.
This warms my heart so much. I remember being a newbie and being so lost, my favorite thing to do is help newbs like you. I have a few two seater mounts, it's so much fun. Welcome, and enjoy!
This was such a great viewing experience. I've played wow on and off since its release and it was so warming seeing your awe at the world. Your sense of exploration was admirable. Top tier video, thank you!
@@yarensenalp5341 it really is me, and when I decided to help him, I didn't expect I was being recorded 😂 I always try to help however I can, respect bro
It's damn easy to do on the boat from ratchet to Booty bay. Getting scooped up works on the old boats pretty well. Only the new boats are to smooth. Actually used that way to travel a whole lot back 2004 - 2010 as a rogue on a pvp server. (pre warmode) You do not want to be on the same ship as enemy faction. So lifting along on the hull or scooped up from the water was the safest way.
May have been said before but I am not sifting through near enough a thousand comments. The reason why a lot of people weren't replying to you in the /say channel is because trials can only communicate with other trials like that. Whispers work if the person has whispered you first, same with groups. You can be invited but you can't invite. This is mostly to make it harder for bots to infest the game with advertisments for illicit sites. All in all though, stellar video. It has been a while since I felt any sort of wonder about wow, and your narration + reaction to what was happening put me right there. Instantly put me back to 2009 when I started playing. Thank you for making this.
I loved this so much. I don't think I've been so glued to a youtube video, especially one that's over an hour. On top of that, I was genuinely sad it ended! I can't tell you enough how that never happens. You deserve millions of subs for the quality of this content. I have no doubt in my mind you'll have millions before you know it. After playing WoW for 20 odd years it's so nice to recapture all the wonder of the game and begin to appreciate how fun it is all over again. Too much WoW content these days is all about min maxing your character and not about just having fun in the game :) thank you
a fantastic video, I started playing WoW back in 2004 and quit around Shadowlands and don't even watch WoW content but this was recommended and was an absolute delight to watch
That was pure cinema. My eyes were glued to the screen from start to finish - even got a bit sentimental thinking about my first steps into Azeroth and all the wonder and excitement of seeing all the zones/monsters/gear/music/etc. Love the content, keep it up!
I almost tear up when started checking the map and how big the world is and how much to explore there is because I've been playing for around 14 years and I know what that feeling is, I wish new players were able to experience all these years of lore.
Your video was fun to watch. I've been playing for a long time and I'm happy you found the joy and adventure that brings me back to it every day. I hope you decide to continue. Happy adventuring!
As someone who has been playing WoW for 18 years: I loved this video! Seeing and hearing the wonder in your voice I felt myself rooting for you and wishing you would continue your journey! I would definitely watch more of it.
One of us! One of us! Lol - welcome to wow! I have been playing for 15 years and I am considered a casual player. I enjoy running around the world doing my thing, leveling, farming mounts, pet battles, rarely dungeons or raids. The most important thing I feel you need to know is take all RUclipsrs with a bucket of salt. Lots of times there are “ you must do this” or “do this before xx”. You start listening to that and then you get overwhelmed. I am glad you followed the leveling progression. Lots of new people take the boost then jump into raids, get killed, a lot, and quit. And remember have FUN. Too many people seem to take it way too seriously
I enjoyed how he kept calling all the newest features old things, the starter intro, the overall look and feel, so much has changed and the art style is intentional that's one of it's main reasons for becoming so popular.
It absolutely warms my heart seeing you enjoy WoW ike this, it reminds of the old times where I explored the world with the same sense of wonder and excitement! I'd totally recommend that you explore the world further, there is so much to see, so many quests to do, so many people to meet, even without getting into groups and doing dungeons/raids! Anyhow, I am stoked to see how your journey in WoW continues! 😊
It was a real rush to be able to experience the confusion and amazement again. Delightfully written, narrated, and edited--my wife and I didn't even realize it was an hour and twenty minutes long; more entertaining than most movies I've seen. Too many of these are "world weary, I've forgotten more about Wow then YOU will ever know!" style of video production; this is just fun. Thank you very much.
This is my life in WoW. I'm not a good raider, I suck at pet battles, and god forbid I try to get into PVP again. Exploring the world and coming up with stories as I go, roleplay with whatever I can create with my extensive wardrobe and the oddball adventures I can make for myself is why I don't think I can detach myself from this game, no matter what the company tries to charge me for. Finding your personal favorite spot in this world is an absolute delight, and learning about the characters and their culture is peak RPG material. A fantastic game with a fleshed out world, fleshed out civilizations, fleshed out geography, and all people complain is there isn't enough unique content. They don't see the game for what it is. It's an impressive 170 GB juggernaut of an adventure world where in spite of having a natural, laid-in method of playing, absolutely none of it is ever enforced onto you and you can play the game for 20 years like me and barely progress, yet still have enough fun to come back over and over again. Never listen to people telling you this game is bad. You have the power to make it good for yourself.
This is why WoW has survived. Yeah there are hardcore raiders and gearing to the max, there are insane collectors of everything, there are serious role-players and lore nuts, friends and families gaming together. Then there are casuals like me, 20 years of mostly solo play, doing this and that, mostly questing and having my own goofy goals like this video. That's the beauty of this game - it's for everyone and lets us do our own thing. There's no correct way to play or the wrong way either. Just have fun!
When I started getting competitive in end game it ruined it for me. I'd always quit till the next expansion later in my career. But I quit after classic launched. I found ESO and people talk so much shit about the game. But jumping in and treating it like I did wow has made it so much fun. So much exploring and discovery. So much still to do before I'm even close to end game. It's a good feeling
Re: your final question: Yes, a thousand times yes. Keep playing, and ideally make videos of your first time exploring. The aimless adventure you took means you're the exact target audience, and you have 20 years worth of worlds to explore chock full of detail and atmosphere and endless easter eggs. It also appears you have thalassophobia like me, and WoW delivers in droves there. Make a video of you arriving at Vashj'ir and checking that out. It's entirely underwater and full of colossal horrors. You're gonna hate it.
I didn't think there was any chance of me watching a video this long through when I saw it's length but after I got started I just got so hooked watching your childlike joy and wonder at the game I couldn't stop watching. There is nothing that a long time WoW player wants more than to have that first experience with the game again, even through others, and you have provided that. Totally made my day watching. I subscribed here and will follow your Twitch as well, hope to see more of your WoW adventures!!
This was so incredibly well done, edited, narrated. I got to relive those "woah!" moments with you. So hilarious in parts and your bravery was on point. YOLO indeed. Blorthog was the star of the show. A throwback to when players helped players. What an epic journey you both had. Kudos to Blorthog for his kindness and sense of adventure. I enjoyed this video so much, the time just flew and I wanted more. Exceptional video Butch, congratulations.
This is one of the best videos I have ever deen on youtube. Thank you for letting us being part of your first journey into WoW. Your embracement of awe really is inspiring. You're showcasing the way games are meant to be played. I wish you all the best and hope to experience more great adventures on this channel.
Omg this is the best video I have ever watched... and its randomly recommended for me.. man you are great. I had smile on my face entire time. Thank u buddy
I love this. It's so rare to see someone genuinely playing wow for the first time. It brings me back almost 20 years when I played for the first time. I don't know your channel and that's the first video you made I watch, but if you haven't already, I can recommend you to try GW2 as well. Very different experience but certainly enjoyable as well.
You are, without a doubt, my absolute favorite RUclipsr. No matter the game, you are able to tell a story like no other. WoW was one of my first games I played. This brought back soooo many memories. The changes that took place since starting in vanilla WoW are staggering. I would love to see you start with classic and move your way up through the expansions. But no matter what you decide, I still will look forward to watching you explore and experience all that WoW has to offer. Makes me a little homesick to play
I'm happy that I'm not the only one feeling like this. Literally just started to play wow yesterdays, although it's a wow classic, i feel overwhelmed with the amount of info but I'm loving the vibes of it.
Watching your video made me envy you so much for having this experience. Watching you play was to remember how it felt for myself 20 years ago. I miss that feeling of "excitement" when it comes to games nowdays, because they all pretty much feels the same. Thank you ButchX3 for doing this video. It sure was a trip straight to feelstown.
CINEMA! This was unlike any WoW video I’ve ever watched. It reminds me of when I came back in Cata and flew a newbie friend around the world to battle players in almost every contested leveling zone while exploring all the changes made in Cata. Thank you for the memories and good luck with your adventuring in Azeroth!
I've played WoW for 15 years. Even though I've not played for several years, I got to say it was worth it while it lasted. Have fun out there and remember to stop when it's no longer fun.
lol. So my bf played in the beginning and was an epic WoTLK paladin healer.. I played on fake servers for a bit but started right before Mists of Pandaria launched and boy did I go down the rabbit hole hard... joined a guild that seemed friendly (never told anyone I was female) and one day their raid was short a healer, I was doing PVP healing so I told them Im not a good fit, I've never raided, they gave me a chance and I didn't want to let them down so I watched the boss videos, took notes and listened to the raid leader's breakdown. I actually did well for having PVP gear on, didn't die miserably and they invited me back to sub in on future raids and eventually became a main healer. Surprise when they found out I was a girl as well, but not the icky kind, just the "I had no idea" and the girls in raid were excited to have another female on the team. They were fantastic and I miss them and still talk to a few of them. I finally hard quit mid Shadowlands because it was negatively effecting my sleep which negatively effected my work and home life.. staying up to 11-12, 2-3 times a week was just not good for me.. it was OK when I stared at 9am, but then my work switched to 7am and it was brutal. I did love making new characters and going through low level dungeons and helping people since I always played healers I just basically let them navigate while just trying to keep them alive so they could experience it all and not worry about dying. I do miss the old days of experiencing the story and leveling up.. but when I left it just felt like a race to max level and top gear over and over again I was just exhausted doing the same thing over and over again. And after quitting WoW I searched for a story driven game with an ending... Outer Wilds was the first game I found and played and finished and cried to... and that is what eventually led me to finding your channel and your playthroughs :)
This is actually sick. you just inspired me to reroll to a healer when running with my buddy that's new to the game through classic, instead of the warrior I was going to play. Great stuff.
I agree with you about having to quit from it negatively impacting home life. I have kids now and had to stop, they are still very young and do need attention and play time with the parents, it helped a lot. My wife plays and she's a healer in pvp too lol this expansion she wants to try to heal raids after doing well in LFR raids, but doing rated pvp is her favorite, keeping people alive and making such a big impact to make or break some games based on how good and timed her heals are it's her favorite to make those differences and outcomes
Looking at the comments, i can say this was amazing to watch and i agree with every single one of you. I started wow at the beta, some 20+ yrs ago when i was but a young snapper and never left the game since. Watching this was like reliving the same excitement and awe i first felt playing this game. Players like Blorthog are definitely what makes this game just wholesome. I made friends along the way, joined their guild, and 20+ yrs later, they are still my friends, some i met in rlf and some i just know by their toon names and always enjoy seeing online. We shared so much together, levelling up, dungeons, raids, duels.... i dont regret any of it. Wow will always stay in my heart, for so many reasons. Thank you for this video, i wish you had known Wow at the beginning, Your adventure would have been amazing as it was for all of us, i hope you continue your journey as there is so much to discover. Best regards, Ladygrey, undead mage of the Horde x
9:45 the goofy and atypical fantasy aspects of wow are what kept me in the game, personally. like yeah, i could make my elf with a bow in any game. but only in wow can my elf with a bow be best friends with a t. rex and a robot squirrel, and ride around on a giant rat, and fly on a space jellyfish.
I have played WoW since I was 10 years old. I have realized that nostalgia for me doesn't come from playing old versions of the game. It feels more comforting than nostalgic. For me, the real nostalgia comes from watching people play for the first time. I get more nostalgia living vicariously through them than playing any old version of the game.
After playing this game for 20 years I was surprised in how completely glued to your experience I was The Joy and amazement you experienced is what many of us have been experiencing for so long Can’t wait for your next video Hope you keep enjoying the game There’s so much more to experience !!
Man, I played wow for the first time, back in Alpha. Back when even rogues could wear shields and kneeling down was an stuck animation 90% of the game some times. I saw this video and it actually made me tearup. you play one of my favorite game, as I use to as a teen. Just doing just enjoying, just... gaming. I love it Butch. I don't want to start playing again Butch... but this... man... I want to live it again... so bad ^^ I Love it.
There's an impressive amount of stuff you can do as a level 20 trial character, there's a whole community dedicated to pushing it to its limits. I've been having a lot of fun doing it actually.
@@ghuldorgrey it's not PURE BS if you had any knowledge. The reason free trials cant have friends and other social restrictions is because of spamming gold seller. It's to the point free trial skeletons disappear faster then others so they cant use the body to spell out ads
@mpr6181 a free trial where you can't even invite other free trial users into a group? Thats idiotic. Me and my friend quit at lvl 15 because we were tired of not being able to quest as a group
This was the best wow content ive watched in a long time. And a good reminder to those of us who been playing a while to maybe take a minute to help out new people from time to time
That was an amazing video! The best feeling in WoW is that noob feeling, where the whole world is open to explore, after over a decade playing I can only get that feeling through other players’ eyes, thank you for that!
That was wonderful! I'd love to see you play more! The very fact that you said to heck with the story line and went to follow your own adventure made me so nostalgic for the early days of WoW when I did a similar journey North without a mount and being very low level. A lot of things have change in the game since it first came out and difficulty in different zones in just the Eastern Kingdoms was HUGE. I remember being murdered by raptors. And at one point on the way back south I fell off a cliff into the ocean and had to swim down half the continent before I could get back on land. It's a beautiful game and there is so much to explore that so many people miss by just playing the main quests. Though the story line is pretty awesome too. Thank you for making me think of that.
When I first played WoW, like 13 years ago now, I was capped at level 20 like you. Pandaria didn't exist yet, the enemies didn't scale to my level, and most of them would kill me in one hit. I remember going all over the world, exploring every zone, just because I could. Watching this, I had just a permanent smile on my face as your adventure for adventure's sake just reminded me so much of that magic I felt exploring back then. Welcome to WoW!
Genuinely enjoyed this video. Keep up the good content sir! It’s nice to see someone enjoy a game for the experience and focus on completing a personal adventure as simple as touching the water in the north and south of the map.
getting shanghai'd by the wow gods in stormwind harbor to northrend while on a questless quest north is the best evidence yet that we all exist inside a simulation
Fantastic, I love that you are experiencing the game for you own adventure rather than just follow the quests. I’ve subscribed, liked and commented and will continue to support this series ! Great nostalgic content
This was so much fun to watch and I am glad this video blew up in views from when I watched it a couple days ago to coming back here just now after someone posted it on the WoW forums. You deserve the exposure, keep up the great work!
I'm pretty sure that when I stopped playing around 6 years ago I had about 1200 hours over two accounts with both accounts maxxed out on Toons (Toons is WoW speak for characters).... Am I proud? n...YES!!
To many to count. The game have changed with every new game/dlc/uppdate. In the beginning there was no tutorial boat/island and it took much longer to get levels. Actually recommend trying classic for a more old school on how it was from the beginning. Would be a fun comparing them.
Druid is a decent first class to play. You can test out being a tank, being melee damage, ranged damage, and a healer. Plus you can turn into cool animals and basically get free flying (don’t have to buy a mount) when you hit that level
I absolutely LOVE your exploration of WoW! soo nice and fresh to experience it with you. almost like for the first time. I have been playing for many years. I do miss this feeling you are experiencing!
Mate this was a fantastic watch and really well put together. I'm glad you got to see the better parts of our playerbase via your quest with Blorthog! Hoping you'll stick around to share more of your adventures. Cheers :)

This is what WoW is to me. Have been playing for years doing tons of end game content, but putting that on the backburner and just messing about in this gigantic world is so much fun. Please keep this series going :)
I don't miss the endgame. Specially for me when I played and was in an Hard Core Raid Guild. Heck.. 24h+ on raids per week when a new raid was out + hours of farm on top of that..

This is my second time watching this, checking in every day in hopes of a new vid! Really brings back good memories 😃 have a great time and explore as much as you can
55 bisquits, 100 bisquits, make up one cake platter and a 100 cake platters make up one feast. Oh WoW is very silly, also there's always a poop quest. Also congratulations, that beach taught you the deepest fear of all wow players. Murlocs!
What was there to fear? He survived a 1v6 without knowing what his abilities do. Those murlocs died so quickly, there was no danger of them running away at low hp and calling for more (if they even could); not that it would've made much of a difference, considering how overpowered player characters are in retail. "This weapon does 1.2 damage per second, 3 times more than my previous one!" -> proceeds to hit for 80-90 with an ability (same as before), making stats irrelevant 😶
@@mastokbreedtbg1398 I fully understand that the time-consuming aspect of the game can be off-putting. I'm pleased to know that your life suits you as it is, there aren't many of us who can say that. Take care ✌

"I can't imagine the tutorial has changed that much" That line got me.
Yep. What tutorial? I think thotbot was only a thought :)
it was sus before but that line with the delivery gave it away - its way more scripted than its presented (makes it more entertaining as a whole tho)
SAME lmao! We had no tutorial lmfao!
I cant stop laughing
there wasn't one haha
As a person who has played WoW for 20 years, since day 1 of its release… PLEASE keep this adventure going. This was amazing.
I was a beta tester in 2003, I've been playing for arguably 21 years now, I still love the game and found this fantastic! I agree 100%

As an old WoW player I just want to THANK you for making me smile from head to toe! Your joy for the small things in the game both made me chuckle and smile all over. I was fishing in game while watching this, and you have no idea how many fish I missed because I was watching you instead of the ripple. Thank you for making my day better!
Next time, jack up the volume enough, so you can 'hear' when a fish takes the bait. Thats how I catch 'em while watching videos myself. :)
“I’d like to say I was fighting tactically, but in truth I was playing my keyboard like a piano”
You sir, were destined to play a warrior.
I’ve played for 20 years and still discover things about the game I never knew.
no meta. no guide. just raw adventure. this is how wow should be played!

I agree that’s how it should be played but the current WOW community is adamant about killing off that mindset and pushing players like us out

Getting picked up by that boat to go into Northrend was probably like 1 out of 7 billion odds.
And much better option than getting constantly killed by horde in Eastern Kingdoms

Oh yes, this, exactly! Been a part of Azeroth for 18 years now, and will always be as long as the servers are up.
20 years ?! omg you spend 20 x 12 x 15 Dollars just for one game plus all the expansions
Totally agree.
This is the best time you'll ever have playing, and these kinds of experiences are what kept me coming back for 19 years
hes playing retail wow, its a total effing mess

This was such an amazing video! Really got me nostaligic for the first time I ever played the game. Glad you had a good time, would love to see you continue your adventures!
It's so sad that the new players skip over 10 years of lore, adventures, zones and amazingness, but it just has bloated too much. There should be an "adventure" mode where you can progress through all the expansions and let the lore and world massiveness to sink in.
you could do it if you just did the main quest and none of the side quest.

Actually used that way to travel a whole lot back 2004 - 2010 as a rogue on a pvp server. (pre warmode)
You do not want to be on the same ship as enemy faction.

All hail Blorthog!! People like that is what makes the game a good experience for new people.
Thanks bro - Blorthog here
That was pure cinema.
It is so vast isn’t it such nostalgia
pretty sure you can experience everything whenever in terms of lore
This is the most wholesome experience I've seen in wow in 20 years!
I think the giant in-game funeral was the most wholesome moment in the games lifespan... at least until Serenity Now showed up to spoil it.
@@allste626 when Serenity showed up, it was the best part of that funeral.
As someone who's played on and off for 19 years, this is just so fun and refreshing to watch. Love helping new players when I can.
I've watched the whole video and it was so worth it. You're entertaining as hell🎉

I love how your first "spicy combat moment" you immediately use the Leroy Jenkins strat.
I'm happy that I'm not the only one feeling like this. Literally just started to play wow yesterdays, although it's a wow classic, i feel overwhelmed with the amount of info but I'm loving the vibes of it.

@@dceltare Thank you for helping out our mate on his quest North.
A female healer is not uncommon lol

Also I feel like you might actually enjoy a RP server. It’s a bit more social. And you may like the role playing scene.
@@fightingfaerierole-playing server yes, definitely! As to druid being easiest, I guess it depends on the person.
@@Rocsanna Yea feral is one of the hardest in game, id suggest a hunter more.
This video has made me seen warcraft in a another level. Love it thnx ❤
Cheers :)
Thank you for watching mate!
Such a good breath of fresh air of a world of Warcraft video, I want to see your continued journey so badly!!!!
bro played every expansion before getting to level 20
Loved watching this video, was amazing to share this experience and brought so many memories 🥰 you should definitely keep playing and make more videos 👏🏼
Have played WoW for almost 20 years and after watching your video you are moved and the tears came. Very well made and hope to see you make more of these and welcome you to the world of WoW, take care 👍🙂🏹
A new video, A new direction, A whole new world of undiscovered inner struggle, Butch, I am here for this but also.. if needed, we are here for you 🤣😆 do you need help, have you made a safe word, please let us know 😊 Chapter 1, let's go!!!
" I thought retail was a shop" Well, nowadays it pretty much is
lol real
You and Blorthog are literally the definition of guys being guys. I had a little tear in my eye watching that adventure to North. What a great video!
Murlocs!
A POOP QUEST
@@ButchX3 yes poop quests are the best. Check out video "Top 10 poop quests in World of Warcraft" from Hirumaredx
@@ButchX3it's real 😂 pick up x poops or the like
What was there to fear? He survived a 1v6 without knowing what his abilities do. Those murlocs died so quickly, there was no danger of them running away at low hp and calling for more (if they even could); not that it would've made much of a difference, considering how overpowered player characters are in retail.
"This weapon does 1.2 damage per second, 3 times more than my previous one!" -> proceeds to hit for 80-90 with an ability (same as before), making stats irrelevant 😶
I didnt even click this fast when you played Ark
Same and I myself also have never played Wow.
@@mastokbreedtbg1398 Well, what are you waiting for ?
The Elwynn forest is waiting for you
@@mpr6181 Na....I choose this lol. I would ruin my life with wow and I'm quite happy with it where it is atm haha.
@@mastokbreedtbg1398 I fully understand that the time-consuming aspect of the game can be off-putting.
I'm pleased to know that your life suits you as it is, there aren't many of us who can say that.
Take care ✌

heres an analogy.
back in the day we had to pick a number between 1 to 5.
Now, you have to pick a number between 1 - 2,335,695
this was so wholesome!! love seeing new people get into the game I've loved for years and grew up with
