The home is beautiful. Your love is beautiful. The surrondings are ideal to raise children. You dont have to leave you know.
Instead of leaving the Tiny house... How about another "laundry room" with its entrance from the tiny house, right off the kitchen, between the fridge and custom built island. That could house the older child... Or the kids could share the master bedroom, and parents could have the nook off the kitchen. A doorway there would also allow the fridge door to open all the way

I just saw your comment after I wrote something similar. Think they could do a long addition adding a "berth" for the child's bed, more clothing storage and even a tiny play area, add room to open the fridge and added food storage, maybe a second mudroom area/back entrance, etc.
Having the current entry arrangement is awkward. Opening up the space between what is currently the mud/laundry room and living room, changing the location of the laundry, and repurposing the utilitarian space into something with better airflow, function and and appearance may be the shot in the arm the place needs.
Great home and I love the mud room. Brilliant idea with your teenage son having his own space makes so much sense as your kids get older. Because environment too.

I had four children and they all shared one bedroom at one time your tiny house is something that you built from your heart it is beautiful you have land I would just think about it one more little one running around is not going to be nothing more if I were you I would keep your forever dream and add on to it it is beautiful and I really wish and Hope you kids think about it

Gorgeous home! Almost exactly what I hope for in my own. I think it could be cool if you turned your bedroom into a child's bedroom and then added on a master suite through the doorway. You could do so much with that.

I had a client that bought a shed which has a roof that connects to the front door of a single wide. One side is extra bedroom, and the other is pantry and clothing. A Murphy bed and bunk beds also might work somewhere?

Oh my these are truly honest couple. They’re realistic and not theoretical, dreamy people. They described the benefits of living tiny based on their circumstances and not so benefit. Yes it’s a good starter home! God bless you three, the new addition and to your 16 year olds son ( Mrs. her stepson too). How family-oriented I noticed based on what you SIR DID FOR YOUR SON AND HOW PLEASANTLY SHE TALKS. I wish I’ve live near you or have the capital to purchase your tiny home. ☘️🏡🌿

What a beautiful tiny home. Nice job on the mudroom too. Try pool noodles and thin zip ties, or maybe command strips, for child padding.

Probably sounds daft, but couldn't they add an extension to this Tiny House - as they did with the mud room - - perhaps have a Tee across where the bedroom is now use that as a living room & the new space becomes a bedroom pod with perhaps another bath? Could be mobile? I've seen a set up with two units joined by a deck which worked really well. I can't imagine these guys leaving this location - That wee lad had the MOST amazing eyes & smile!
I take it that there's no way you can add on so you can stay . It's a beautiful home you have .

What a great home, location and set up! I'd be tempted to add on a master suite and let the younger kids share the current bedroom for awhile. That added "bunk room" for the older son could also be incorporated somehow. With your skills that would seem feasible - unless you're planning to buy property of your own and build there. Additionally, I HAVE to say that baby has the cutest smile ever! So adorable!

One of the best setups I've seen. The extra few feet width makes such a huge difference. Location is idyllic..the home is beautiful. What a wrench to have to leave although like other comments I hope you can add on and keep enjoying your space and each other. Congratulations and hey from Australia.

They could add onto the entire one side of the house. Move the laundry to an expanded kitchen area. Open up the doorway between the mud room and living for better heat circulation and general flow. Doesn't have to be deep, 6-8 feet would do a lot.

Love the laundry room as well as the toilet! Just a personal choice, I prefer couches that look out the windows, rather than a t.v., and the windows behind the couch.
Westley is just adorable! Congratulations on yr up coming baby! I hope u both can add on to yr tiny house! It’s just a beautiful home ! It’s fantastic that you both have it paid for. If you can add another bedroom just for the kiddos that would be a great idea. Even if you have a daughter built a separate bunk bed beds that looks like a room for each child. It would give your little family a chance to take holidays/vacations later with yr children. Making memories is the most important in life .Besides teaching them about School/Jesus/church/having friends & seeing the USA as a family. They only stay little once. Wishing you-all the very best ! There are more and more tiny house channels these days (to be honest it's kind of sad seeing tinys becoming more of a fad for the affluent as opposed to what it began as) but, your channel is one of the best in terms of details and the actual cinematography. The videos are well thought out beautifully shot.

Have you considered building another tiny house as a "bedroom wing" sort of thing with a breezeway connecting the two - perhaps in L shape? @@jenniferhedrick1659 it's such a beautiful piece of land you live on now (I know the desire to actually own is strong.) But being settled does have major advantages, as well as having your friends right there.
Just seems like it would be a LOT; buying the land, getting water and whatever utilities onto it, building ANOTHER whole house from scratch... Phew! I need to sit down just thinking about it, and I'm not even pregnant!
I think the idea of adding on another bedroom is a great idea! We've all seen other tiny home folks with multiple children making it work.
Obviously, it's your guys' decision, but I wanted to throw in my two cents. If I could relocate and my personal situation were different, I'd totally make an offer right now. It really is that cool of a place. 💚

You have done such a marvelous job with your "not so tiny" tiny home! With all of the work that you have put into it, it would be a shame to let it go. Have you thought of adding on to your space? Of course, my husband and I have been in similar situations...just when we have the house where we want it, or even before we have it all together, it's time to move. So I understand, and you may have some personal reasons for wanting to leave. I'm sure whatever you build, or move into, will be just as nice as this one.

Love this tiny home..... beautifully thought out & beautifully designed/ decorated. Well, if it were me, I'd stay! Why not add on & continue on with the lifestyle that works for you? You could add on to the sides of it or add another small tiny home next to it with a connecting deck...... something to be able to stay there. With home & lumber prices the way they are, your best bet may to stay and build on what you currently have. Either way, congrats on baby.... you are a lovely couple! And, such a sweet boy that you have.... good luck to you, whatever you chose! : )

Add another bed room, for the kids. Maybe go up. Don't give up a mortgage free home. If you have to move rent this one out, or keep if as a vacation home. It's a lovely place.

Okay, 360 sq. ft. Plus a 160 sq. ft. adu, plus a decent mud plus laundry room plus a large shop. This is very livable and practical and it sounds like they have low rent on the land. Except for the shop their total space is sized about like a small apartment. They are a lovely couple living a good life.

This is a lovely tiny home, and I really like what you said about love growing in a tiny house.
