  • How to upgrade your old Polybutylene plumbing system to PEX for CHEAP using stainless steel cinch clamps and PEX B tubing. This can apply to RV, mobile home, or residential home applications. Small RVs offcourse have a much smaller and primitive plumbing system in comparison to residential homes. So 80% of all pipe couplings were replaced just by changing the 12 couplings under the kitchen sink.
    Pro TIPS:
-Make straight clean square cuts when cutting your pipes
-put all clamps either 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch from the end of the pipe so that it will clamp down directly on the raised barb portion of the coupling
    - do enough research and buy more supplies than you need before starting the project so you don't have to run to the store for additional parts or possibly take multiple days to finish the job
    - Make sure the clamps are put on squarely/evenly from the end of the pipe. You can do this by stabilizing the clamp with tape/glue/soft plier squeeze before cinching down the clamps
    -"Measure twice, cut once"
