    I am a beginner and I really need to learn what different DCPS amp draws mean. Coz I see when you know what different meter readings mean, it simplifies and the quickens the diagnosis process. Do you have a video about amp draws and their meanings in phone repair please? If you don't have it yet, could you please make us one?

      You just have to watch all my videos. I don't have one video that combines all of them.

    What DC power supply are you using? Curious if most DCPS measure draw or is that a premium feature?

      I am using just a very basic, normal dcps. All of them will have voltage and amperage.

    so i had a short on 1v8_io, and when i injected volatage main power melted, camera ic melted, some other ic melted and cpu also melted, i was super confused as to what the problem could be, i followed your instruction i turned the board around, injected the voltage and sure enough one little cap was causing the issue. Line clear now!

      Make sure you only inject voltage up to what the line is rated for if you are injecting directly into the shorted line. For example, you only want to inject 1.8v on 1v8 line. Good job finding the cap!

      Hi, how many amps do you feel is appropriate when injecting voltage and do you put the black probe on ground?

    • @damjanovicr1195
      @damjanovicr1195 2 года назад

      @@ristinapharaone2502 red probe ground, black probe you test. In my case it was 1v8 Line so I injected 1.8 Volts

      @@ristinapharaone2502 Black probe goes on ground, yes. In general I keep my amps set to 2 but sometimes my dcps limits it to even less than that.

      @@damjanovicr1195 Black probes go on ground when injecting voltage. Red probes only go on ground when checking diode mode values.
