This film is almost 30 years old and it is still without a doubt one of the best adventure movies of all time. Romancing the Stone and Raiders of the Lost Arc are the two reasons why I traveled to South America. Fantastic story with first class actors and an amazing director.

I'm from Perú and my opninion abouth this movie is that it's really good, a masterpiece from 80s with a great director to enjoy any day and spend a good time with your family and beloved person, i love everything in general, highly recommended to continue watching now and forever.

It's got all of the fantastic writing, humor, action, charm, thrills, directing, acting, development and everything that I've come to expect in a Robert Zemeckis film. He truly is a mastermind genius. The actors are great to. One of my favorite films. In the top 25, for sure.

In 1994 Star Movies was launched in India. It was the first 24 hours Hollywood movie channel. When our Cable service provider as introduced this channel, the first movie I watched first was this master piece. Hence this movie will be always in my memories.

I literally watched this cause my 52 year old mother told me it was her favorite movie of all time and I finally get why older heads hate movies from this generation lol
It has been really interesting, as a colombian who lives in Colombia, having met some foreigners saying that they wanted to come here for this movie as colombians have no idea of its existence. I have to watch it.
you know when i think about indiana jones movies, romancing the stone, the jewel of nile, it all make sense on them making uncharted 1-2-3 for playstation 3 which molded the character from those movies from the 80's into one person.
A classic case of the trailer being much much better than the movie it advertizes! I saw this trailer at the cinema as a young kid and was desperate to see the movie, and it's pretty good, but I've always been disappointed that it wasn't as whip smart and funny as the trailer.
I personally think Romancing The Stone was better than Jewel Of The Nile. I watched Jewel recently and found myself bored. Definitely no comparison on my part. But Michael Douglas though...😍😍 Every girl needs a Jack Colton!
I was not really into this.... I was young and not really have experienced anything but full of learnings.... And this movie was not my reality.... Was back than.... And I was still in South Korea back then with wrong guys.... Now that I think of it, I do not have had such time for me to have private love stories.... Simply, I was always too busy with another guys....
