Just yesterday I had a cav punch my shield and I died instantly. On kill cam, her fist was direct middle of the shield yet I didn't get knocked back, didn't get downed, I just died.
I had played regularly since year one/zero, particularly in ranked, but stopped at some point after warden was released, and stopped playing entirely in late year 4, i think. Mostly stopped playing because i moved to pc and started playing csgo, and other games, with irl friends. But also because, overtime, Ubisoft seemed to get more and more lazy and greedy with it, and put more effort into the cash grabs then the actual game. Honestly, i think siege probably peaked in season 2, maybe stagnated at 3, before turbulence and decline in 4, and so on...

That would be the hit box that person got very lucky by hitting the small small hit box.

Either glitch with the hit boxes or it was a ricochet. I don’t know what game that is though so I don’t know.
Hit box for the shield operator is bigger than normal and it could have bounced off the walls
