The one thing that I absolutely hate the most is that they are removing all of the fun and goofy aspects of the game. No T-hunt, no night maps, no fun hiding spots, no passives/unique gadget abilities (invisibility, etc), reworks to meme/fun operators to make them competitively viable (the recruits), casual being changed to just be a "new player" mode, casual maps being reworked for no reason, and the removal of old game mechanics like cooking frag grenades. Hell even operators "unique" abilities are being streamlined now, Ex. the Nokk and Vigil changes. It's annoying how they're trying to make everything in the game comp now when it all doesn't need to be.
I kinda hate that they come out with perfectly fine operators and then rework them simply because competitive players have a stick shoved so far up their ass that they forget that adaptability is the main point of siege, the main point of counter terrorism and the main point of gameplay

Yeah I climbed to silver 3 or 4 and dropped back down to bronze 3 and stuck at bronze 3 but I Honestly do not try anymore if I actually tried and threw my life into the game again I might actually be like gold 4

I still have so much fun imagine being hard stuck in how something that’s always been changing drastically and getting upset as it continues, it’s easy to complain if this is the only game you play or you are hardcore sweating to get high rank but that’s never been “fun” to me

The big issue with siege isn't that it caters pro players. It had almost ALWAYS catered to the high rank / Pro scene. The issue now is the dumb stuff and catering to a casual and bad player base (like yourself).

Quick match is terrible for casual players. It’s literally designed to make the game end as soon as possible which eliminates the time to have fun doing dumb things. I miss when a casual game took 25 minutes not including the operator selection screen which could increase it to 40 minutes if people had hard drives rather than SSDs. Now it takes 15 minutes or less. You don’t have the time for stupid site set ups, or conga lines, or the other things we used to do. Ranked is no longer competitive since there’s no sense of rank progression anymore. I mean, with a 0.58 w/l, it takes 320 games to derank from full champ lobbies to low diamond!
at the end of the day. pros matter and we don't. they will continue to kill the game for the pro scene. idk why they can't just make "pro alterations" that don't effect casual....
It might actually be hinting at Aruni’s elite. Just like how Finka joined Nighthaven to further enhance the Adrenal Surge for her own health, she was able to get an exosuit that helped her out. This same process might lead to the Aruni elite skin, which may have something to do with enhanced cybernetic limbs developed by Osa and Finka
why? its not OP or anything, she just makes bigger punch-holes and knocks down barricades and hatches in 1 hit (which is kind of a downside most of the time)

It's a completely different game than what I got for Christmas back in 2015. I wanted it because I was bored of Killing Zombies and thought "Hey! The m&k sensor thing on console doesn't even work right. On two occasions it thought I was using a m&k and upped my latency. Absolute bs that they don't ban cheaters bc they spend more money but up my latency because their third party hardware detector doesn't work properly

which suprises me, i like picking her for her grenade launcher and the LMG. The withstand ability was nice too and not that strong since it left you at 1-hit health.
Honestly wish Tachonky had a working GL instead of an incendiary. How much scarier would it be if you saw a Grenade sign instead of the floor turning to a campfire and can get away from easier. Add a bipod to his weapon instead
5 spamable grenades is a bit overpowered, no? They could make the launcher more realistic by changing it into a bolt-action or just make the fuse on the grenades even longer.

Imagine blaming the biggest throw of your life on the game. She was knocked and took a good few seconds to get back up AND YOU LET THEM REZ AND KILL YOU. Comp players will never blame themselves and ubisoft makes too much money off of them to stop changing every little thing the moment they cry
Siege used to have really good battle passes that were worth the time and money along with having amazing cosmetics but now they’re trash. I wish they would stop listening to the ranked players so much since the game was a lot more enjoyable before the reworks.

tbh as a someone on a pro player i have heard nothing abt z ping and people wanting it removed us pros like the z ping think you got the two groups mixed up.
most people don't complain z ping much cause it's not a huge game changer or anything (even tho I've seen many pro/high level players complaining about it especially when cooking granades was still a thing) but regardless it's easy to see how it would be beneficial for the game if it was changed. For instance the z ping makes the red ping useless cause it can do the same thing but without any downside. If you don't know callouts it's fair to give the players a way to still give info but there should be a penalty for it otherwise people aren't gonna bother learning callouts cause you can just z ping without consequences. An easy solution to this would be to make it behave like red ping when it's near an enemy and/or give it a longer cooldown so that people can't just spam it and have to resort to red pinging if they want to give their teammates a more accurate position.
@@JimJK That's not the only point I made but the cooldoen is the same as redping which already makes z ping better and it isn't long enough for it to be a problem. You can still easily track someone pretty accurately without them knowing about it. It is not balanced but it's not broke either that's why people generally don't care
If they took away yellow pings it would break the flow of the game entirely especially now where the game just fails to detect your headset snd microphone making yellow pings the only way to communicate in a quick and safe manner. Typing out a callout takes too long and youd be swung and dead before you could say anything accurately.
Things I want back: Bombers, old maps (for custom/T-hunt), night, quick ADS and leans, old recoil for nerfed guns, darker lighting and more shadows, operations, T-hunt, fewer ranks, 3-speed roamers and rushers, old recruit and the list goes on Changes I like since Para Bellum: new sights, supressor

I don’t play ranked anymore because I was high plat- diamond before ranked 2.0, and I would be in those lobbies. Now I’m in the same skill level lobbies and I’m struggling to get past silver without sweating my ass off
Removing yellow pings would be stupid, like yellow pings is one the great things about siege and its competitive to do so. The thing with comp siege is you shouldn’t always have a straight even playing field that would be boring you should have ways to get around those things to even the playing field because if it was just a even playing field 100% of the time it would be repetitive and not mention just not fun
So why should soft ping on drones be taken out? Why is not being told their position is compromised bad? Would you like to be notified if someone is aiming at you from behind or to the side? Where’s the competitiveness of being handed everything to you and not being rewarded for playing smart with drones, cams, and flanking?
What I think they should do with Tachanka is make it to where his primary LMG should be useable again, but if you have the DP27 equipped, you can use it, and then put it on the mount

Several other ops still have passive abilities other than Aruni...ex: smoke not effected by his canisters, alibi makes runnouts for entire team 'hidden' rather than revealing ops. etc.

The membership isn’t bad if you sub for the whole year it’s cheaper than buying the battle pass every season plus you get “exclusive cosmetics”. The only thing I’d change is make it even cheaper and make it to where the cosmetics from the membership can never be sold on marketplace with the exception of direct transactions
Yellow ping removal would be stupid. I agree about zofias withstand being removed, but yellow pinging is just how droning works. I agree with competitive side on most things but yellow pinging is just result of good droning. That's why I also believe Solis should keep her prep phase scanning to help counter the yellow pinging problem.

Yellow pinging is not a 'casual' feature imo. Do they honestly need to have the pros playing the same exact build of the game? Why not just turn it off for pro league? Ranked is not even slightly comparable to that for like 95% of the playerbase and probably even more. I doubt ranked players will be happy with removing yellow pings.
Tachanka always had the lowest pick rate. It was a conversation for years about how they could fix him. The biggest issue was that his turret left him immobile in a game where being immobile isn't very smart. Very few people actually liked the turret. It was extremely situational and people would only use it to meme. He needed a rework, it's just the rework we got wasn't good. They'll just ignore him now because they have too many operators who need to be balanced and reworked because all of these new operators break the balance of the game. Tachanka will go back to being neglected by them, and now he doesn't even have the status he used to have. At least back then, he was a fun meme. He was useless, but useless in a funny way, now he's just boring. I say all this, but he's still one of my mains. Despite his gadget being lackluster, at least his LMG is a fun gun to use still, but I know Ubisoft will never do anything to make him more interesting.

Yellow ping can just be disabled/enabled in any game that is set up to be under E-sports or any other conpetitive setting in their custom matches Also yeah cant look away without getting flashed but some people i know dont like the alternative flash accessibility because they said it looks as it if it gives an advantage as it feels as you can see the person faster then if its disabled

For me. Plain and simple; passives make the character unique and the fact that, that match resulted in a lot of people complaining of a once in a lifetime opportunity where the zofia withstand worked. Nope everyone was just upset they lost and said remove dis.
With the talk of removing yellow pings, that's complete baloney. Red pings have their functions, yellow pings have theirs, competitive players need to stop crying about it. Also, removing Zofia's withstand is hypocritical, being able to get up from being downed is broken UNLESS its a frost mat (That change almost completely killed frost tbh). Withstand was a feature meant to differentiate Zof from Ash, and given many more people still choose ash over Zof, I think withstand isn't too broken.

Very few changes have actually benefited casual players. All have been made for the pro league to keep the playing.

The only way to force Ubisoft to listen to casuals is for everybody to stop playing the game.

5 spamable grenades is a bit overpowered, no? They could make the launcher more realistic by changing it into a bolt-action or just make the fuse on the grenades even longer.

Siege used to have really good battle passes that were worth the time and money along with having amazing cosmetics but now they’re trash. I wish they would stop listening to the ranked players so much since the game was a lot more enjoyable before the reworks.

tbh as a someone on a pro player i have heard nothing abt z ping and people wanting it removed us pros like the z ping think you got the two groups mixed up.

I don't remember how long ago but I do remember some pros actually complaining about it, but they immediately got clowned on.
most people don't complain z ping much cause it's not a huge game changer or anything (even tho I've seen many pro/high level players complaining about it especially when cooking granades was still a thing) but regardless it's easy to see how it would be beneficial for the game if it was changed. For instance the z ping makes the red ping useless cause it can do the same thing but without any downside. If you don't know callouts it's fair to give the players a way to still give info but there should be a penalty for it otherwise people aren't gonna bother learning callouts cause you can just z ping without consequences. An easy solution to this would be to make it behave like red ping when it's near an enemy and/or give it a longer cooldown so that people can't just spam it and have to resort to red pinging if they want to give their teammates a more accurate position.
@Kazuny the z ping is balanced bc of its cooldown, so if you're constantly moving around then the z ping won't be on you all the time
@@JimJK That's not the only point I made but the cooldoen is the same as redping which already makes z ping better and it isn't long enough for it to be a problem. You can still easily track someone pretty accurately without them knowing about it. It is not balanced but it's not broke either that's why people generally don't care

If they took away yellow pings it would break the flow of the game entirely especially now where the game just fails to detect your headset snd microphone making yellow pings the only way to communicate in a quick and safe manner. Typing out a callout takes too long and youd be swung and dead before you could say anything accurately.
Things I want back:
Bombers, old maps (for custom/T-hunt), night, quick ADS and leans, old recoil for nerfed guns, darker lighting and more shadows, operations, T-hunt, fewer ranks, 3-speed roamers and rushers, old recruit and the list goes on
Changes I like since Para Bellum: new sights, supressor

I don’t play ranked anymore because I was high plat- diamond before ranked 2.0, and I would be in those lobbies. Now I’m in the same skill level lobbies and I’m struggling to get past silver without sweating my ass off
Removing yellow pings would be stupid, like yellow pings is one the great things about siege and its competitive to do so. The thing with comp siege is you shouldn’t always have a straight even playing field that would be boring you should have ways to get around those things to even the playing field because if it was just a even playing field 100% of the time it would be repetitive and not mention just not fun

So why should soft ping on drones be taken out? Why is not being told their position is compromised bad? Would you like to be notified if someone is aiming at you from behind or to the side? Where’s the competitiveness of being handed everything to you and not being rewarded for playing smart with drones, cams, and flanking?
What I think they should do with Tachanka is make it to where his primary LMG should be useable again, but if you have the DP27 equipped, you can use it, and then put it on the mount

The membership isn’t bad if you sub for the whole year it’s cheaper than buying the battle pass every season plus you get “exclusive cosmetics”. The only thing I’d change is make it even cheaper and make it to where the cosmetics from the membership can never be sold on marketplace with the exception of direct transactions
Yellow ping removal would be stupid. I agree about zofias withstand being removed, but yellow pinging is just how droning works. I agree with competitive side on most things but yellow pinging is just result of good droning. That's why I also believe Solis should keep her prep phase scanning to help counter the yellow pinging problem.

Yellow pinging is not a 'casual' feature imo. Do they honestly need to have the pros playing the same exact build of the game? Why not just turn it off for pro league? Ranked is not even slightly comparable to that for like 95% of the playerbase and probably even more. I doubt ranked players will be happy with removing yellow pings.

Tachanka always had the lowest pick rate. It was a conversation for years about how they could fix him. The biggest issue was that his turret left him immobile in a game where being immobile isn't very smart. Very few people actually liked the turret. It was extremely situational and people would only use it to meme. He needed a rework, it's just the rework we got wasn't good. They'll just ignore him now because they have too many operators who need to be balanced and reworked because all of these new operators break the balance of the game. Tachanka will go back to being neglected by them, and now he doesn't even have the status he used to have. At least back then, he was a fun meme. He was useless, but useless in a funny way, now he's just boring.
I say all this, but he's still one of my mains. Despite his gadget being lackluster, at least his LMG is a fun gun to use still, but I know Ubisoft will never do anything to make him more interesting.

Yellow ping can just be disabled/enabled in any game that is set up to be under E-sports or any other conpetitive setting in their custom matches
Also yeah cant look away without getting flashed but some people i know dont like the alternative flash accessibility because they said it looks as it if it gives an advantage as it feels as you can see the person faster then if its disabled

For me. Plain and simple; passives make the character unique and the fact that, that match resulted in a lot of people complaining of a once in a lifetime opportunity where the zofia withstand worked. Nope everyone was just upset they lost and said remove dis.
With the talk of removing yellow pings, that's complete baloney. Red pings have their functions, yellow pings have theirs, competitive players need to stop crying about it. Also, removing Zofia's withstand is hypocritical, being able to get up from being downed is broken UNLESS its a frost mat (That change almost completely killed frost tbh). Withstand was a feature meant to differentiate Zof from Ash, and given many more people still choose ash over Zof, I think withstand isn't too broken.
The soft ping has to stay Beacuse if your soloing and just need general communication. How will you do it ? Or if your pinging for yourself when you don’t know a map and need to find your drone
