Great video as always, I would just like to add that from what I've observed, this pattern of past tense verbs being based on object does not apply to sentences where pronouns are the object. For example, if I said "he saw us" it wouldn't be "ਉਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਖੇ," it'd be "ਉਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ" despite the fact that ਸਾਨੂੰ is plural masculine. Another example, if I said "I saw her" it wouldn't be "ਮੈੰ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਦੇਖੀ" it would be "ਮੈੰ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ" even though "her" is feminine. It seems to me that when a pronoun is the object, the verb is just masculine. But correct me if I'm wrong

      Good point, yeah it's ਉਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ. And yeah ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ but you can also use ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇਖੀ. Both means I saw her. But ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਦੇਖੀ doesn't make sense.
