Trott's was brilliant but it was really impressive how Ross managed to turn his around after questionable beginnings to make something pretty good! Smith was also there...
I mean, this isn't out of the ordinary for Trott. You have to remember way back when they played Rust, Trott went ham on the art in that and it can be argued that the setup in Rust is even more rudimentary than the latest version of Paint.
Trott with the comeback, Ross with the somewhat come back.... Smith with the.... attempt. LMAO Incredible work lads! I’d love to see y’all do painting with actual paint like you guys did with Bouphe on the Jingle Jam a few years back! Good job lads!
Bob Ross, Rob Boss, Ross Bob, Ross Ross. Also, Smith's gradual descent into madness, and desire to eat paint, is gold. Also also, Bob did do three copies of each painting. One done prior to the show, which he would have off-camera to refer to. The quick one he'd do on camera, referencing the one he'd done before, and then a later, slower, more polished version.
9:10 Titanium white is named because white dye is made from titanium dioxide. When you heat titanium in an oxygen rich environment it oxidises rapidly and turns pure white in the same way iron turns reddish orange when it oxidises (rust)
This was a cool video idea. I would be interested to see a different Bob Ross video where they use paints. They can get more episodes out of switching mediums each time
Ross and Trott's turned out really good! It's evidence of how low-key amazing Bob Ross is, to get people to let go of having to "draw" when they start painting, and just make light and dark shapes...
This was brilliant! You should try doing the scribble challenge, where you draw a very random squiggle and the other people tell you what you need to turn it into :D
Once they get back in the warehouse they should try this again, with perhaps using various random tools and items to paint lol (also maybe different challenges during painting like blindfolded 10s, electric shock)
You should try doing portraits, maybe self portraits, maybe portraits of each other or maybe a portrait of a celebrity or famous person and the other two have to guess who it is.
Honestly to me a lot about drawing is having fun doing it, like i've done a lot of drawing and have learned that even if it's not the best or if it's just a quick doodle if you're happy with it then that's good!
For Ross' question on how much art he did... Among other things he made each painting from the show three times. Once on actual filming, one before hand so he can see it off screen while he paints, and one that is for his instructional books and such. None of these paintings were ever officially sold by Bob Ross or his company.
Bob Ross had done his paintings many times because he was teaching them to people in art classes. He could probably do most of the ones featured on his show with his eyes closed.
Oh god I'd love this! Maybe using the graffiti Sim? Or perhaps a similar concept where they're given 1 minute with a painting, then have to create the 3d scene with something like tilt brush
Nice suggestion Creggle and well done boiks! Trott's one is pretty great but I actually do quite like Smith's Bowl of Nightmares. If you ever felt like doing a sequel to this in the warehouse like one of your Jingle Jam art streams I'd love to see it, this is a really cool challenge!
Great job on the intro editing Craig, that was very well done, but like....it's also kinda terrifying, hahaha Also, 10:11 wow, I feel very called out by Smith's statement there, hahaha, getting started on art is scary sometimes, okay? Fear of failure and all that jazz, no need to call me out so hard XD XD
I loved this. I know it would be much more difficult but I think it would be amazing to see you attempt this challenge with actual paint. Maybe a future warehouse video.
Trott's was brilliant but it was really impressive how Ross managed to turn his around after questionable beginnings to make something pretty good!
Smith was also there...
Hahahaha... I think is Smith is more leaning towards modernism...Pop Art maybe...
I can't be the only person who wants them to do this again!? and again... I'd like to see their interpretations on other bob ross paintings
Plus they get experience each time with MS Paint (or whatever program) to understand tools better
Of course Trott aced this. This is the man famed for designing the artwork of critically acclaimed Silly Song after all.
THE Silly Song?! Wow! Amazing. To think they could get such talent for this video.
Wait this is THAT Ross Hornby, the one of silly song fame?
Trott's one is actually impressive.
Was about to say that it’s really good for Paint 😂
I liked Ross' too.
I mean, this isn't out of the ordinary for Trott. You have to remember way back when they played Rust, Trott went ham on the art in that and it can be argued that the setup in Rust is even more rudimentary than the latest version of Paint.
it's all the dimpling he did
Ross "I Don't wanna be that gay" Hornby.
LMAO that got me
He doesn't WANT to be.... but we all don't have the illusion of choice in such matters.
Smith: “I’ve made a bowl of... nightmares” 😂😂😂
10:02 These simple, quick edits that are thrown in every once in a while are hilarious. Craig MVP
Ross missed a perfect opportunity to sign his painting as "not Bob, Ross"
Brilliant
Wow, that deepfake at 0:12 was incredible. I actually thought Bob Ross was introducing the video!
i'm honestly surprised with how good Trotts came out, would love to see you attempt this with paint irl in the future
I actually really liked trott's attempt
I don't like that Bob Ross mask overlay at the start. That's freaking me out.
Fuck I hate it, oh god never again
uncanny valley
Kinda looks like Daf a little bit, like the eyes and nose and mouth
Gonna have nightmares now
If you hate that then you probably hate his high rollers sponsor spots.
This feels like main channel content to me idk im just sad hatfilms never truly got as big as they deserved :(
Bruh, they have nearly a million subscribers despite their every effort to spite RUclipss search algorithm.
@@Cheesus-Almighty They’ve had nearly a million subscribers for like 5 years now lol
They're still alive and in the 30s mate. Why are you talking about them like they died?
If they did it IRL it would've been.
@@ringosis because they very clearly arent a popular channel like they used to be
Smith drawing a guy blowing his brains out got me so much
Now we need to watch Nina and Harry do this exact same episode on their computers so we can compare.
Well it would be just the same as bob's wouldn't it.
Loved the video, but can I just say how handsome our boys have gotten over the years on youtube. Theyve all blossomed into beautiful boiks
I'm at 10:54 and can I just say Trott's is turning out really nicely! I can't wait to see how all three turn out.
8:55 Love the Simpsons Barbeque pit reference.
Smith's attention to detail and instruction is as good as ever.
I didn't know I needed this until now so please for the love of Bob Ross *I NEED MORE OF THIS*
I love watching Bob Ross cause I used to watch him with my grandfather when I was little. Watching Bon Ross painting is nice and calming for me.
Really enjoyed watching this. Would be happy to see more
WHY DOES TROTT’S LOOK SO GOOD?!?
LOOOL the reaction to when he peeled the circle was thee highlight of my day
Trott with the comeback, Ross with the somewhat come back.... Smith with the.... attempt. LMAO
Incredible work lads! I’d love to see y’all do painting with actual paint like you guys did with Bouphe on the Jingle Jam a few years back! Good job lads!
Would defo wanna see more of this
Bob Ross, Rob Boss, Ross Bob, Ross Ross.

The panic when Bob removes the tape/border from his painting is too good
9:10 Titanium white is named because white dye is made from titanium dioxide. When you heat titanium in an oxygen rich environment it oxidises rapidly and turns pure white in the same way iron turns reddish orange when it oxidises (rust)
I'd definitely love to see more of this 😂 Trott's was really good!
This was a cool video idea. I would be interested to see a different Bob Ross video where they use paints. They can get more episodes out of switching mediums each time
im strangely loving these videos? this and the geoguessr. more of this kinda stuff would be awesome
This was nice and chill. Would not mind havin more. :)
Ross and Trott's turned out really good! It's evidence of how low-key amazing Bob Ross is, to get people to let go of having to "draw" when they start painting, and just make light and dark shapes...
smith and ross almost ten minutes into the video "Wait, Bob Ross *isn't* know for painting amorphous colored blobs?"
Please do more of this, this was amazing
If you cut out the spray paint around Smith's painting it actually looks like some kind of Van Gogh-esque modern painting.
Smith's squinty eyes completely explain his artwork, it all blends
PLEASE do this with actual paint in the warehouse (when youre allowed)
I like how chill this video is and I'd like more painting videos and see if you guys get better
I think this worked really well, you should definitely do more of them. Trott's was very good, but the other two had there own unique personality.
I loved this so much. Really hope they do make it a weekly thing. Especially when it’s safe to do in the warehouse.
This was brilliant! You should try doing the scribble challenge, where you draw a very random squiggle and the other people tell you what you need to turn it into :D
How did I like it, how did I like it? MORE MORE MORE pls Hat boiks
Once they get back in the warehouse they should try this again, with perhaps using various random tools and items to paint lol (also maybe different challenges during painting like blindfolded 10s, electric shock)
Make sure to follow along when he paints the Mountain Dew can as well.
Now this really was excellent content. Hoping there's more to come!
More of this. Love to see what you can do now you have your eye in a bit!
Trott is bloody good.
"Titanium! That's not even white"
Titanium Dioxide literally the thing that makes paint white 😂
Spurious facts Smith back at it again
Well titanium dioxide isn't the same a just titanium.
@@bittenhare4493 Genuinely surprised this comment took that long to appear
Loved this, could we see it live in the warehouse at some point??
I really enjoyed this, I'd love to see more stuff like this. Good stuff boiks.
Also more of this please. Brilliant.
This was really good! I think this type of content would also suit the main hat films channel. Good work on the editing!
Absolutely loved it!
Genuinely love trott art. Actually cool. Also editing wise that was amazing when you had simpsons hands comparing bobs with smiths 😂
Pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Hoping to see more, and to see y'all improving. :)
daily reminder of why and how I love the hat boys so much.
I love when they just does random crap
You should try doing portraits, maybe self portraits, maybe portraits of each other or maybe a portrait of a celebrity or famous person and the other two have to guess who it is.
18:41 Of course Smiffy tried edging, the fecker.
Can you guys do more art challenges on drawing prompts and such? Makes for good content forssure
Tbh I didn’t think I’d enjoy this as much as I did. I’d love a version with Lewis in place of Bob Ross in your warehouse
You guys should do this on SuchArt: Creative Space. My friends and I actually did this exact challenge in that game and it was so good.
Thanks guys, that Bob-Trott hybrid is going to be in my nightmares for the next few months now
Brilliant. Loved this vid and looking forward to hopefully seeing more
I loved this video very much! Would love to see more if you have any more in ya!
Turned out better than I thought
Hat Films and Bob Ross. My worlds are colliding.
I think this worked out really well. More!
"Only a nonce has nonce sense" How could you say something so controversial yet so brave. Love ya smit
Honestly to me a lot about drawing is having fun doing it, like i've done a lot of drawing and have learned that even if it's not the best or if it's just a quick doodle if you're happy with it then that's good!
Yes, yes.very soothing,very artful
That Bob Ross face mapping was the stuff of nightmares 😳
This was great! I suggest that when you get to the warehouse, you can do a no pause Art Attack challenge. Eh? Eh? Craig can be the statue head.
That was amazing! Ross did a great job on the cabin, but I gotta give it to Trott. His definitely was the best!
Wtf Smiffy lmao
Trott's cabin and bridge are so good!
Why does Trott and Bob Ross together look exactly like Daf.
You'd never have guessed.
The nod to Homer's failure at masonry made me LOL
What we didn't see is that Jasper Johns yoinked each of these and sold them off as NFTs.
Damn that Jasper Johns.
The panic at the start of this video
I would be up for more of this, maybe bring in a guest once in a while to see how they react too
Fantastic idea Creggle. Did they give you that medal already?
If not, just enact a coup. It's time.
Please bring back those photoshop videos you did a while back. They were so incredibly funny
please do this with actual paints someday. super super enjoyed this!!!
For Ross' question on how much art he did... Among other things he made each painting from the show three times. Bob Ross had done his paintings many times because he was teaching them to people in art classes. He could probably do most of the ones featured on his show with his eyes closed.
They should do one where they look at a painting for like 30 seconds then have 5 minutes to recreate it in vr
Oh god I'd love this! Maybe using the graffiti Sim? Or perhaps a similar concept where they're given 1 minute with a painting, then have to create the 3d scene with something like tilt brush
@@helplmchoking yeah I was thinking the graffiti sim just couldn't for the life of me remember what it was called

I enjoyed this. You guys should use that big f*** off warehouse you bought and trying doing this similarly with real paint.
14:30 Ross: I don't want to be that gay
Great spectacle, moar of similar would be shweet
this is the most stressful i've ever been when watching a video that had bob ross in it, aside from maybe an old bob ross TTT video
Absolutely loved this! More please!
Great job on the intro editing Craig, that was very well done, but like....it's also kinda terrifying, hahaha
Also, 10:11 wow, I feel very called out by Smith's statement there, hahaha, getting started on art is scary sometimes, okay? Fear of failure and all that jazz, no need to call me out so hard XD XD

Great videos recently tbh. I love these
I loved this. I know it would be much more difficult but I think it would be amazing to see you attempt this challenge with actual paint. Maybe a future warehouse video.
Looking forward to more of this
Please do more!!
