A entire Dungeon of Enemies weak to Blunt -> Boss resist Blunt.
Fun fact, kromer gained sanity in the past, and only gained due to a bug, so she quickly hit that +20 heads chance

@@LambdadeltaYT and also Paralyze did not worked then. Plus she not healed from burn, only from bleed. Then she was fixed in few days and everything worked.
@@GrimMeowning There was also a bug where she healed even if you had all the Marks which are supposed to completely block her healing if you have 3 of them (you can actually get 4 but I don't think the last one does anything)
My theory is that the golden bough only resonated with her because Sincleir feared it, as Demian said to be afraid of something is to give power to that something, the whole scenario we saw in this dungeon was to use Sincleir's belief in favor of transformation from Kromer.
Not only chipmunk manager rage, but the song sped up also sounded like it was sung by the chipmunks. Man I love this so much:))
i wish the chipmunks never get rebooted. let's hope they stay as awesome as they were (just disregard the live action/animated movie)

Did you notice during Sinclair singing Damien was also singing with him? This confirms in my head that Damien is EGO of Sinclair and he will return when Sinclair fully awakens it
Also I expect the new world talk is after the 300 Million Deaths from what I expect Distorted Virgilius or Dante Causing it entering 2nd story arc
I will have to listen to the song again o_o but my ears are famously bad and I'm not sure i'll be able to hear it...
I mentioned several times that Demian looks like a ghost and might just be in Sinclairs imagination, but did he manifest him in the end? Is that why Dante was able to talk to him? It is curious how it was stated that "Whenever Demian was around, Kromer was nowhere to be seen" in the story segment...
@@LambdadeltaYT considering dante was able to understand distortions and abnormalities can understand him (chapter 3 corroded inquisitors) i believe that is the reason why dante could converse with him
plus thanks to the signs sinclair gained throughout the dungeon he gained the courage to fight against kromer and our words allowed demian appear for a brief moment

There was a saying that retro games were made to be very hard because those games had a really short play time and the only way people could enjoy it longer is when players can't finish it. Could be a reason why PM made kromer a difficulty spike since they need more time to make chapter 4.
Remember, this is the same devs that made everything else that you faced in Ruina you shouldn't be surprised.
Very lovely of PM to make all of the big shot identities in the game do bleed damage, and then put you through a dungeon that lasts for hours, only to let you know by the end that the boss is near unkillable if you keep bleeding it. It sort of makes sense in the lore, but it still makes me salty that I had to redo the dungeon again because all of the people I had leveled up at the moment did burn as well kek
Nowadays they "fixed" it by making her heal less and buff herself less depending on how many signs you have, although it's still kind of buggy on phase 2.
Back then you just needed to keep burn count at 1 and you still could use burn characters.
Notably, the heal&buff gets completely negated at 3 signs, which you should own at that point anyway. And it's no longer bugged in the second phase, that was fixed.
Random speculation:
So Dante is a _manager,_ with an ability to _rewind time,_ who is currently tracking down the remnants of _Lobotomy Corporation's_ seeds of light, and was someone who was once highly regarded.
It sounds like the game is leaning towards Dante's identity being Ayin/X, but that kind of feels a little too on-the-nose. 🤔

You're not the first to say, many people speculate that it is Ayin, but i cannot be confident in that.

Why is battle against Kromer more difficult in story dungeon than in Railway. That one passive, i know, but why...
At least now i have my secret weapon "the gripping Sinclair" who can just demolish her in 3 turns.

@@LambdadeltaYT I was checking and is not exactly the same, Blue Star is more softer. The two are bells though and have some semblance.

Buuut... The same blue is in Kromer corpse when she dies, and her upper body gets "transported", so.... We might have a relation here.

It's the bell that sounds when funeral of Death butterflies shoots his guns in Library of Ruina. So maybe they are just reusing assets.
I beat her first try, pretty much everyone was dead except Sinclair, and I killed her with a corroded faelantern.

I actually won it with bleed, but I had everyone lvl 30 and uptie 3, with some battlepass EGO's.And it was much more rough because of that, but somewhat achievement.
Btw, if you not collected 3+ signs, then Sinclair would have big debuff instead of buff.

Also the her song with C*rmen talking to Kromer into distorting is great.

Why did the LCCA dudes act like its weitd that Vergilius knows people. He is a colour. I would be schocked if there is even one corp that doesnt want to have good relations with every coloured fixer.
at this point I would really like to know how many colours there are at any given time and how much they know each other/how famous they are... I raised this point in Ruina already when Roland didn't recognize Gebura/Kali/Red Mist
Good fucking lord man you are using auto battle in the final boss of chapter 3. I think what actually gets me is that when you do use your head, it’s not like you’re making the wrong choices either…

(I didn't like that scene when I saw it the first time, now I'm neutral towards it but, I dunno.)
That aside, pretty cool how you managed to defeat Kromer even though you had all odds stacked against you (underleveled, some unusable IDs because of her passive, etc). I was thinking maybe you could have killed her more easily by not using the underleveled units, just using Ishmael, Gregor and Sinclair. There's a d̶i̶c̶e̶ coin disadvantage in the beginning but as turns go by you get more coins per character, the total going up to the usual 5 which is pretty good, especially with a permanently buffed Sinclair.
Speculation time.
I wonder what's the whole deal with Demian and the new world he talked about, all I can think of is that it might have to do with one scene in the trailer where in a near future (iirc 2 in-game years from now on. That scene that is zooming out of the map of the city) a shit ton of people will die (in top left corner you can see the population number decreasing by hundreds, maybe millions, in a matter of seconds, an incident worse than The Pianist which killed about 300k people).

Purple Tear is lying low rn. But from the beginning of limbus we see dante getting almost chewed by the purple tear goons. (Verg told panther to tell the "false serpent" ""this flow cannot be stopped"" so that means before we entered the perspective of dante there's something big behind the scenes. Verg isn't telling is anything but it must be related to the golden boughs
I think 300M deaths will be caused by Virgilius distorting or Dante somehow causes a event that makes that

This chapter ended in a really odd way, and I don't know why, but for some reason doesn't look like Kromer is dead. That aside, what a satisfactory ending.
So base Kromer was classified as a TETH yet her arguably easier 2nd phase was classified as a HE, probably due to the fact that she had an aoe.
I honestly want to see how other enemies would do against each other like kromer vs headless icthyss.
Probably doesn't even need to be that high grade. Our association fixers are around Section 5, which gives a basic idea of how relatively weak we are in the grand scheme of things.
