      Lorenzo Crippa I am from Kyrgyzstan. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Kyrgyzstan is very different from most of the countries I have been to. It doesn’t have tourist places or parades or festivals what it has its unique culture and people. See people in regions - who live traditionaly. The best time to visit Kyrgyzstan is from late spring to late fall/autumn.

    • @mrx9607
      @mrx9607 7 лет назад +9

      ScEd21 ok) Firstly capital Bishkek, I recommend u visit bazar's. Then mountain park ''Ala-archa'' u wil like it, Burana tower in Tokmok city (60km far from Bishkek). Issyk Kul lake. (250km far from Bishkek) - just google it! U have to go to south capital - Osh city, then ''Sary-Chelek'' lake in Jalal-Abad province - very beaitiful place also historical structure's in Naryn province & many more other place's.
      Kyrgyz people are opened, very kind, we highly respect older people, if in bus comming into bus elder people u have to stand & let the elder person sit on your seat - that cultural for us.(note that). Don't travel in villages without local friend or guide u may get lost. Food & hotel cost for u $15 a day but it depends on the city

      Nobody occupied Kyrgyzstan. They willingly agreed to be part of the Soviet Union in 1918, and since then, nobody oppressed their national identity.
      They were taught Russian however to be able to discuss problems with other republics and especially central government in Moscow. Nobody oppressed their will to print or speak on their language, and to this day, you can find many books written in their language.
      If USSR was really occupying the territory, they wouldn't have let them go so easily. And how about that 1,5 billion dollar debt, that Russia has forgiven Kyrgyzstan? Was that part of the occupation too?
      Really dissapointed in you Barbs. I thought you were better than this.

    Been to Kyrgyzstan 2 years ago, amazing country and people. Me being a mountain landscape fanatic just fell in love with Kyrgyzstan at first sight, even from the plane before landing, just by looking at the wall of Kyrgyz Alatau range rising behind the plains on which capital Bishkek sits. Never seen so many crazy colors in nature like in Kyrgyzstan 😍😍

I know its a Turkic language, but the Turks are literally removed from Central Asia, and seem to have a culture that has been heavily influenced by the Greeks and Arabs, so I'm wondering if the language has been affected too.
