SPSS Bangla Tutorial 👉 Multiple Response Sets

In this SPSS beginner tutorial we have discussed about multiple response frequencies and multiple response crosstabs.
Surveys often contain questions that allow respondents to select more than one answer. Managing such questions in SPSS Statistics can produce some difficulty. Each response in a multiple response question should be coded as a separate variable and then grouped under a multiple response set can then be analyzed using frequency counts or crosstabs.

প্রিয় স্যার, আপনার ভিডিওগুলো বার বার দেখেছি এবং যথাসাধ্য বোঝায় চেষ্টা করছি। আপনাকে ধন্যবাদ। কারণ এই ভিডিওগুলো দেখে আনেকে উপকৃত হচ্ছে। স্যার আপনি যে Multiple Response গুলো Categories wise Crosstabulation বিশ্লেষনে শুধু Frequency দেখানো হচ্ছে, এখানে percentage নেই। আমি Frequency টেবিলে 100% টে result দেখতে চাই (আমি জানি এটা মাটিপল প্রশ্ন)। এটা যখন percentage টেবিল তৈরি হয়। তখন 100% এর বেশি percentage দেখায়। এটাকে কিভাবে 100% percentage বিশ্লেষণ করা। প্লিজ, জানতে পার উপকৃত হতাম। আবারও অনেক অনেক ধন্যবাদ মানুষকে ভালোবাসার জন্য।

We can use frequency analysis to answer the question "What kind of device do people prefer to own?". Frequency analysis is a descriptive statistical method that shows the number of occurrences of each response chosen by the respondents.
On the other hand Crosstabs are used to examine the relationship between two variables. To answer the research question "What color do people prefer for their device?", users will analyze two variables: Device Owned and color. Using Crosstabs will show the intersection between two variables and reveal the device type and color proffered by most people.
