Listening on Some Radio, The Original Piano Trio

Herbert Clair, George Dilworth, Edger Fairchild made many recordings as The Original Piano Trio. While not a virtuosic performance, the multiple activities of six hands and huge chords is fun to watch and hear.

Was the piano plate originally painted black by Chickering?

robbicu Yes, the black paint was orginal. Several Chickerings have been found in that scheme. There is the traditional gold under the black paint.
