    There should be an adjustment screw on the back side of the kickstand to make it longer or shorter.

    Great review! You should try a 203mm rotor in front, it makes a pretty big difference in braking (10-15% shorter stopping distance and better modulation and fade resistance). Looking forward to your Freedom review and comparisons as you may be the first actual owner to post videos of the two. I have the same floppy fork on my V2 Freedom , it’s fine but the new RST fork is better. Try adjusting the derailleur using the limit screws instead of the barrel adjuster, seems to work better.

    Appreciate your review. I also ride often. I ride a FreeSky SwiftHorse and for the price - I wish I would have got a Wired. I like the forks I have and my frame is very nicely welded and painted - but sometimes I just wish I had the extra power. Depends on preference. I just wish I could jump off the line faster. My bike hits 35 on the flats and yeah that's plenty fast so I've got to brake early since I still use the stock 160mm rotors. Again - just depends how you want to use your ebike and I'm just leaving a comment because I was the guy/still am the guy shopping for electric bikes. Most people just hop in the car - but these are as handy as a sharp knife.
    Thank you and I like your style so I subscribed.

      What axle issue have you heard of?

    • @d.w.132
      @d.w.132 Год назад +2

      I heard the axle threads are a little short,which makes the the axle length not long enough to go all the way through the axle nut. In other words the axle is about 1-2 threads short of being long enough to go through the axle nut and come out the other side. Sorry for all the CHIT I wrote to maybe explain this .( This is just what I read on another Forum) And also read that Wired knows about it and,said it doesn’t pose a problem! @@d.w.132I know exactly what you're talking about and you mistaken it being too short in general rather than it being too short when adding the trailer/etc to it lol. It's fine when not adding anything back there.

    • @shootthechit
      @shootthechit  11 месяцев назад +1

      All of the Wired bikes use cadence sensors. It's really preference. I like the power delivery on the Wired, from what I've heard higher powered bikes don't do well with torque sensors

      How does this bike handle on the road? In the curves does it feel like you’re driving a big heavy bike say compared to a hybrid tire regular road bike? This will be my first purchase and I’ve been researching a lot but really see nothing on road handling transitioning from left to right responsiveness etc. Any input appreciated Thanks again

    What is the sensor on the brakes that you mentioned? Why can't other brakes be put on it?

    • @shootthechit
      @shootthechit  Год назад

      There is a senor that tells the computer when the brake is being engaged and it will cut off power to the motor so you are not powering against your brakes. I think you can rig things up and some brakes come with the sensor but your typical SRAM or Shimano brakes don't have these sensors.

    • @tenncutt

      @@shootthechit

      I just ordered my Freefom today, and I'll use redundancy......a long chain in a soft plastic tube, and another lock, like the one he mentioned.
      I'm also worried about the front tire too. Its a quick disconnect. That's also why the long chain: so I can run it through the front wheel, and around an immovable object.

      Connecting the chain through the front wheel is a very good idea. It’s so easy to steal in seconds.
      Here’s what I have done: Since I use a late model iPhone I put an AirTag in the controller box. First I disabled the tag’s speaker. There is a video on YT showing you how easy that is done.
      If you use an Android device you could use a tag from Tile.

    • @SkeenDogger
      @SkeenDogger 8 месяцев назад

      I now ride a Surron and get over 30 miles at full throttle and obvious no peddles. Way quicker on acceleration to the point it beats most cars at traffic lights. I prefer it because it completely rips and if I want to stop somewhere out of the way I have the range.
      My personal opinion is to buy a used surron and spend like 1200$ more. I have both. Only use my wired when I get a flat on my Surron. The surron is way quicker and is a ton more comfortable to ride. I'm 6ft and the wired is too big for me and people even comment on how the bike is so big.
      Good bike though expect the range they give you.
