Very interesting. Great review and sales job! Learned a lot about the pinion gear operation. I have a hardtail and may try the Cloudnine seat. I'm a former "traditional" biker and always worry if I'll like a cushiony seat but am definitely spoiled now that I've tried full suspension on my 5star.

Lectric's low prices are coming with low quality in my experience. However, Lectric provides amazing customer service that I doubt will be beat any time soon. They often cover parts/service that extend beyond the warranty requirements, even including expired warranties. They have a connection with bike shops all over that will provide service. Unfortunately, I have learned that my body requires an ebike to have full suspension (front & rear). I doubt they will provide such any time soon... if ever. I believe they also will not provide "off-road" ebikes. I'm looking forward to seeing some of this bike's less common features on more ebikes.

I like the hydraulic brakes and gates drive...but no suspension and the $2,200 price point is a bit much for me. Nice review!

I like the idea of the belt drive and electric shifter, but I wonder how easily can you get the transmissions serviced (or even better do it yourself) once it wears out. Also does that mean it needs to have oil changes?

High gas prices: I don't know if one needs my logic to understand it, but I'll try. The main factor limiting the price of goods is the "Willingness to pay". At some point, increasing prices hit peoples "Ability to pay" Companies continue to raise prices to maximize profit. Lets say I were making a product that I sold for $10 profit. Let's say: At $10 profit I sell 10 per week. $10 X 10 = 100 I raise to $20 profit and sell 9. $20 X 9 = $180 At $30 profit I sell 8. $30 X 8 = $240 $40 profit I sell 7. $40 X 7 = $280 $50 profit I sell 6. $50 X 6 = $300 $60 profit I sell 5. $60 X 5 = $300 $70 profit I sell 4. $70 X 4 = $280. So, as a business man, I set my price to make $60 profit. That's where I get the most profit with the least work. Do you need the product? not my concern. Can you pay for the product? not my concern. That's how capitalism works. in California, there's enough people willing to pay the higher price to make it profitable.

This company seems to make great stuff at reasonable prices. But that name man, couldnt have picked anything more confusing. In my mind its "R"-Floxa" ever since Talaria Boys did they review and called it by the wrong name the entire time.
