@@ROYAL_REBEL This is a popular, but extremely outdated and clueless view. The best one-handers in recent years were some of the hardest hitters on tour. For example, Shapovalov (before he got mentally lost) had the same speed on his backhand as he had on his massive forehand, which is very unique. Thiem was one of the hardest hitters on tour, too, not to mention Wawrinka etc. The one-hander is a perfect shot for power. It also offers much sharper angles much more often, much more topspin (the topspin measurements have been consistently massively dominated by one-handers for many years, it's a really huge difference), it's a much more explosive shot, with quick sudden changes of pace and direction easily available, perfect for attacking. All of this results from the mechanics of the modern one-hander, the single arm is much more free and the swings are much bigger and quicker than the much more restricted two-hander. The real disadvantage is stability and consistency, on the return of serve, in defence and in longer rallies. So the one-hander has to be really good to succeed in the modern game. You can't be very successful with a mediocre one-hander, while a mediocre two-hander is OK (in fact, it's the norm, most players have it).
