One of the handfull of players I enjoy watching. Low noise low drama.
France has some promising talents with Fils and Perricard. Both top 8 potential
Czech Republic @ Mensik, Lehecka, Machac
Italy
And the most fun names to say, especially if you toss in Ugo Humbert.
Also Humbert
Don’t forget Benoit Paire. 😏
Nice to See a young, dedicated Player Like Perricard. Much speed , Touch and talent ....
Fearless. Doesn't care about mistakes. He just erases them with more aces.
Perricard was forced to show other parts of his game in this match. It is like that when he plays Musetti too. Dude is very calm. I saw some good returns beyond just blocking the ball into play. If he improves his movement to a level similar to Musetti's, Sinner's, Alcaraz's or Monfils, then the tour will have another problem on its hands.
Well done to both players and congrats to Perricard.
Do you mean Fils?
Physically he can never have the same level of movement obviously due to his length, but no doubt he can improve on that. Maybe, since he is French, he should call Wembanyama and ask his stretch routine.
@@fwvw7056 I can stretch him
It's difficult to move if you're over 2 meters tall, like Perricard. That's why Karlovic, Isner and Opelka haven't accomplished much despite their big serves.
Medvedev is one of the best movers in the tour.....zverev is also a great mover and both are very tall.....gmp can also be a good mover if he wants to....
Acredito que tenha sido a primeira final de ATP Master entre tenistas negros. Negros no comando!
Parabéns!
What an athlete.
Cool.and clam Perricard. A good and humble tennis champion 🏆
Damn, Giovanni can have an Isner like career, maybe even better cos he moves better and more powerful groundstrokes.
Congratulation for your first ATP 🏆. Play cool & smart thinking 💪
Better Then Sinner Serve❤❤❤
Good sportsmanship by Shelton no cap. Been watching Gio since he beat Gombos in 2022 at Challenger Liberec
Perricard heading to top 10 as the great rotation takes shape in 2025
Giovanni played a smart powerful brand of tennis today, he made a splash at Wimbledon this year and that was no fluke, he got game and will be a force next year and years to come , im excited for his future and climb up the rankings 🎉❤
Guy really averaged 129 mph on 2nd serve, I've never seen serving like this before, except from this guy.
Goran Ivanišević😊
@@MarijanŠimunović I grew up watching tennis starting in the 1980's. Even Goran in his prime didn't average 129 mph on his second serve in any match in his entire career. I'd even venture to say Goran has never had a match where he averaged 129 mph on his first serve! This Perricard kid's serve is something special.
@@JW-bw8nj if Goran had in firs serve 129mph,hi got in second 131 because he had secund serve stronger than firs or same..😇🍻🙋
@@JW-bw8nj it's down to racket technology and balls too ofc
The only one I could think of would be Joachim Johansson, but he literally just hit two first serves, whereas it does look like GMO “takes a little off” for his second serve.
These highlights didn’t do justice how good the serve was. Wish tennistv did more highlights of big serve aces
GMP eats tennis balls for breakfast. Fantastic win, so pleased for this guy. His coach has done a fine job.
There is something Federeresque about Mpetshi, a lightness in his movement, which is wonderful to see. Incredible to think he is 6’ 8” tall.
GMP can become a huge threat in big W, not kidding.
No drama, calm and composed more focused game. Mpetshi, so skilful! Great lesson for Shelton!
