"Don't worry, go for it man" on the tough shots causing Alcaraz to fall. Followed by "I cheer for you" in defeat. What a guy. You can tell Sinner reciprocated the respect too. Surely, one of the most wholesome at the same time intense rivalry out there across sports all around. Super cool.

Completely agree. I stopped watching him after his recent struggles; but watched some of his Indian Wells matches and was reminded why when I saw him at the U.S. Open vs. Sinner in 2022, I thought he had the most raw talent of any player I'd ever seen. Obvious Sinner's climb has been relentless, but Carlos at his peak is better than anyone in history. And I say this as a HUGE sinner fan. Alcaraz simply has the most complete game of all time. I have never seen anyone put so much pressure on other players and be so DEMORALIZING in his defense.

Sinner at his best is no match for Alcaraz's best, the moment Alcaraz slips sinner is there to pounce.

Alcaraz was legit willing to die for that first set. Bro was diving all over the place

0:58 i like how they both have that helicopter movement with the racket that they probably learned watching Nadal😅

Its not on purpose. It happens naturall when you're swinging hard off the back foot. Every pro on tour hits that shot at times. Its just a question of how open they get into a situation where they need to hit like that.

It looks like Alcaraz's supernatural recovery shots in the first two sets hurt him physically in the end (maybe the ankle or the foot) and it's pretty clear to see in his movement. It's just too bad because he played so well and would have gotten that extra nobody else has to beat Sinner.
