My KA fridge is 10 years old and board went... ordered a new one from Amazon, and programmed with your video... saved me $3500 on a new fridge, thanks!

Bless all of the people who post things like this on the internet. I tried following written instructions I found online. Without your video I wouldn't have known that "Push and Hold LL" refers to the lower left button. Worked like a charm for my KitchenAid. Many thanks for the instructions. (Although the vid seems to end abruptly...you are done at that point; just turn off the Light and you're back in business).
Thanks. It works perfect for me. I have the same refrigerator and even the same code as you. But for me I had to push and hold the water button not the on off button. Everything else was exactly the same. Thanks again
Thank you for this video! I have a kitchen aid refrigerator and I paid a guy $89 to tell me my refrigerator was shot! I bought a new control board from searspartsdirect .It took me about 5 minutes to put the board in and I used your instructions on this video to program the New board and it worked like a charm! The new board didn't come with program instructions.Thanks again!👍

thank you-we got control board on- fridge is now working but we're stuck on programming -PE0 & 000 is not blinking? so unable to program - nothing happens ... its just frozen on PEO AND 000 (we followed each step --- water button, then hold down lower left button, etc) nothing happens- help :)
I cant get mine to go into programming mode when I put the new board in. Its still just a blank screen that turns blue whenever I press any button. Any ideas anyone??
@@Edward_Khd in the end it was a board issue, wiring diagram had the wrong part number as it was changed throughout the years. In the end I brought the board to a computer repair shop and he found 3 components that were fried, replaced Them and it worked fine. Cost was $100 instead of the $250-$350 for the new board

Helpful even with a different fridge model, but seemed funny that I had the same 4 digit code!
