Great breakdown and instructions. Very good press and on my "to do" list for today workout. Thank you for sharing Dan! Have a great day everyone and stay strong !
65 yo, spine injury with function and balance limitations. Love this exercise with light weight! Good training for hip and shoulder stability, but not so taxing that I can't do it properly. Thanks!
I have started doing these and have noticed a good improvement in my barbell military press (my main pressing movement). I’m noticed my left arm was a fair bit weaker and these really helped even that up.
there are videos where the athlete ist racking the bell on the side with the knee left off the ground. Which difference does it make and why do you prefer the other side?
Thanks such a great explanation. Could any of Dan’s fans give me their opinion. I know I’d be missing some benefits, but for just general fitness would using a dumbbell be ‘good enough’? I tried last night. (No waiter or bottoms up press though). Thank.
Out of pure ‘working out how less strong I am than Dan John’ how heavy is this bell ? 20/24kg ? Great vid and exercise. Just started . Find it very tough with a 16 . Thanks Dan

I'm trying my best!
When I do one-arm press, I definitely do the half-kneel one-arm press.

The video really helped me exercise with the kettle bells using the variety to stimulate the mind and body. Thanks Dan.
Thank you. I have some more videos coming on this lift.
Good angle on this take as well. Really hammering home the message.
That's one of my favorite movements!
Love this idea of one bell different intensities. So helpful and well explained, thanks Dan.
Always appreciate your videos. So full of insight and knowledge. Thank you.
Outstanding! That felt great for my left hip-groin complex, which I need to focus on and strengthen. Thank you for this.
Same here.
Thanks
Thanks a lot!!
Heel to right hip flexor....awesome cue!
This features regularly in my programmes.

For consistency, I just teach it like this. You can do anything you like.
the back foot should be on your toes? or shoelaces flat on the ground?
I'm usually on my toes, but shoelaces might be interesting to try. I would "stay tall" on my toes.
@@DanJohnStrengthCoach thanks for answering!! Have a great weekend
Great video, is doing these instead of standing a better option for balance practice, please can anyone answer?
I don't know about balance, sorry.
@@DanJohnStrengthCoach thanks, I suffer with ataxia so I'm always got balance on my brain.
@@DanJohnStrengthCoach thanks sir, what are the benefits of doing kneeling presses instead of standing presses, please?

Absolutely!
For sure
You could hold the dumbbell from the bell end versus in the middle-balancing it upright. That would be an additional challenge!
My favourite press is half an A press
Do you see merit to doing these with two kettlebells vs just one?

20/24kg ?
Great vid and exercise.
