I just bought a Moxie today!!! and I am trying to figure out how wide of a finished quilt I can fit on the 8' Loft Frame. Do you know? I know I will need the backing wider at the edge, but I can't figure out how to estimate finished size because I don't understand all the factors yet. I will get the 2 foot extension later but need to save up.
Typically for most frames you can measure the full table length and subtract 10"/12". This will give you an approximate width to work with. Consider when your machine is set all the way to the edge, it's still about 6" away from the edge based on the width of the machine. Add that to the opposite side which gives you the 10" to 12".
