Yesss! In my experience, before my current boyfriend, I've never had a normal relationship that was loving and supportive and led to anything good. So finding my current partner was a surprise and getting to know him and seeing that good people do exist and do love you and want the best for you without any shady intentions was hard at first. Sometimes the wait is worth it. When I was single I focused on myself and optimizing my life before I went on to try online dating again. Thats when I found him. So now, I don't demonize dating apps for that reason. Sometimes you will find your person in the most unexpected place at the time that you least expect it, usually when you are healed from your past traumas (or getting there).

Watching this now and great insight! I would always choose to alone than to be in a toxic relationship. People might think that it starts out fun but it is really delusional fun. If people are using you to manipulate you and hurt you, get out of that relationship! The three things that always cause conflict and pain in any relationship are politics, religion, and sexual orientation. So if I connect with people at all, I do everything in my power to stay clear of these topics! This is because they hurt and break relationships far more than they help them. You have to live the life that you want to live! ASMR videos and your gentle and kind words comfort me and make me happy!
