Shes coming along great. Black is a hard color to work with when you are doing body work. The body has to be 100% great cause if not you will see the imperfections once the paint is laid out. Hes right and a good body person will spend hours to days just on one panel. Sanding, guide coats of paint and block sanding till it is 100%. Can't wait to see more of the build. Y'all keep up the Great Work and Content.
Thank you and thanks for watching! Then hours we will spend to make it perfect 😫. We will do our best my man! Stay tuned and have a great weekend!
LETS GO BRANDON!! 😜 Keep your foot to the floor boys!! Incredible progress on this amazing custom body kit. It’s been a treat to watch this bro! Your RUclips videos and this build have kept me going some evenings when I really wasn’t up to going in the garage. But the efforts are so worth it. We blow our cars apart to begin customizing And then it happens! Something magical happens when you get to a certain point and BOOM! You can start to envision what the finished product will look like. Thank you for sharing this build buddy! Your build and videos have inspired me and kept me going on my build. Hopefully one day we can park beside each other at a show. 😎
Thank you for the great comment my friend 🙏 You are the reason I keep sharing, hands down. This build has allow me to get out of my shell and meet some really great humans like yourself. I can't thank you enough for always being awesome 😉
I indeed have an uncle Bob ! car looks great man progressing well !!
Thanks buddy!!!
BRANDON! you're doing an awesome job 😊
He really is isn't he 😉

Thanks Justin!! I appreciate the kind words! More to come! 🤘
Absolutely amazing work! Great, great job guys and keep it up. Love seeing your videos and you inspire me to carry on with my C4 project.
Thanks for following along and the comment my man! much appreciate the kind words as well! So glad to help you along with the inspiration! we have to keep these vettes alive! :P
Coming along nicely! I want to see the cut out for the door!!! Are you going to fill in the open side when the doors are opened ? 👍🏻as always!!!
Yesss sir! It's coming soon! 😂 yes I'll be filling in the open areas to seal it all up and finish it off nicely.
I'll take a fun hat! 😊😅 Looks absolutely amazing. Can't wait to see it at the car show!
Mee tooo!
2 things,
Stock up on wheel bearings. Those wheels are so far out, the load is tripled.
They are sealed and u can’t take them apart to service them.
3. GM spent considerable time trying to keep the engine cool.
That spoiler up front may interfere with the front chin baffle air flow.
My thought would be to get turn signals that are half the length of the ones installed, and use the extra space afforded to route the air through the radiator.
Then cut out the area behind the front license plate and put spacers on the lic plate and push it out a half inch for more air.
Some of these cars have a second pusher fan in front of the ac condenser.
Make sure u have it. Good luck
Ahh yes, I di have a few spare bearings on the shelf just incase as well as ball joints 😂 for the amount she will be driven ill likely not need them soon I hope.
I love that idea for the turn signals to allow more air for sure. I will be adding a scoop for the rad support to pull in more air while moving AND wrapping rhe headers for less heat soak as well as a hood modification to pull more air into the intake 🤘 the second pusher fan is also a great idea
@@RustedandBusted you know the back of the hood at the base of the windshield is a high pressure area.
Create a air flow path by removing the rear hood seal and maximizing the gills on the side of the car. Sort of extraction, adding a fan at the right gill.
Relocating the battery to the storage area behind the seats and adding a cooling fan on the left would help heat extraction as well.
Good luck
@john Sengers all great tips my man 👍 battery has been relocated and hood seal has been removed already as well 😉 In my earlier videos you can see the engine bay 👍 she's pretty stripped out
Looks great! Also, I know you guys plan to put a rubber seal on the top edges but I don’t think you’ll need them. The paint thickness is also to be considered.
Thanks! Yeah you're right, it will definitely help fill in the gap BUT I really want to protect the paint as much as possible so if it means a super thin gasket we may do that. It may also make the panel that much tighter 😉🙏
I think I live down the street..... Keep up the great work
No way! You'll have to pop by for a beer some time 😎👌
Looks good, lots of hard work. Still have time for Sema!
Oh I wish!! That would be the ultimate dream 😍
🔥🔥🔥
🤘🤘🤘
Will yall ever have a kit available made by you folks?
@marioarellano3735 as the kit was made for this specific car I can't say it would fit yours or others. At this time there will nit be any copies made. If you want the kit you'll need to buy the car as a whole 😉👌
Maybe I missed it, but what about the hood opening and closing?
Well we haven't touched on that just yet. once the front splitter is completed we will work on the front fenders and how the hood will open. so far, ive had some good luck not having to cut the front of the fenders BUT the rear... well they may need a cut long the body line :)
Those wheel wells need a lot of help
They're getting it 👍 any tricks to making them perfect?
@@RustedandBusted ITS TO LATE.
@@user-gh9zl6yg6h 🤣🤣 its never too late!
Hi will you consider mass producing it its a very a nice kit
Thank you 🙏 we may make molds of this for future refinement. Perhaps a carbon kit would super cool, but not cheap I would guess
@RustedandBusted please keep me posted I'm really interested and if you can make infinite taillights for the build it will look super clean
Will do! Stay tuned to see what we have in store for the lights 😍
How much are you expecting to have to pay to create this body kit?
So far I think we are at about 600$ Canadian in supplies not including labor
I saw your model for the car on Pinterest before I found your RUclips channel and loved it. I have a 1991 Corvette that I want to put a similar kit on
@Joshua Weaver nice!! Yeah it's tough building it from a photo but I hope these videos will help people like yourself build your own 😉👍
Thank you for the inspiration
@@joshuaweaver4657 happy to help! 😉👍 keep me posted on your build! You can find me also on Instagram at rust_n_bust
Nice ! But the rims and tires are too big.
😂 still don't agree 😂
