Full Flight: Frontier Airlines A321 Orlando to Providence (MCO-PVD)

- Hey guys! In this full flight video, I travel up to Providence, Rhode Island from Orlando, Florida aboard a Frontier Airlines A321, which just so happened to be the same exact plane I flew down to Orlando from Pittsburgh! However, unlike the last one, this was a red-eye flight - which means that a plane leaves late at night and arrives to the destination early next morning. I decided to start out this video by doing an experiment I saw on RUclips of checking in for Frontier...and you'll see how that ends. The flight itself was basically again what I expected on this airline. But, it did come with some very nice and informative pilots as well as some great FAs. Obviously, people wanna sleep on red-eyes, and on Frontier...it's next to impossible. When you are basically sitting on a bench with some foam cushion for your bum, and you can't lay down on that bench, can't move your seat back, and don't have adjustable headrests, you ain't gonna get a whole ton of sleep. And even if you wanted to get some work done on your lab top, there's no where to place it but on your legs. I'll say it again and again until they change it...Frontier you need to make your tray tables larger! I'd also like to see some sort of mobile IFE and WiFi option available for purchase as well as some hot food options. Frontier Airlines isn't a bad airline, especially if you can steal a great deal like I did for $15, but if you need to travel with lots of luggage or with a family, either do your research or just fly Southwest. Hope you guys enjoy!

I used to work Frontier flights on the ramp. This was a throwback thanks.
Providence is my home airport! I live in MA near the Rhode island border and PVD is waayyyy better in BOS when flying domestically. Great vid!
Cool bro and thanks! Yah smaller airports usually are way better flying domestically than the big colossals + PVD is a pretty sweet airport :)
@@thejazzguy13 Even ATL airport is awesome and it's the biggest and busiest airport of Atlanta GA. Bro, just imagine me traveling from POS Trinidad to ATL, EWR, SEA, LAX, ORD, YYZ,MIA, PVD and MEX from Piarco International Airport, Trinidad and Tobago. The airlines are United, American, WestJet, Southwest, Condor, Frontier, Turkish, Volaris, Ryanair, Delta and JetBlue. Best is Delta Airlines 737-900.
I live in BOSTON so Logan is better for me
Love seeing my old hometown airport Providence. I have done a lot of plane spotting there.
I live right down the street from PVD. So cool seeing it on YT!
$15 for a 2-hour flight is so good even with no luggage and uncomfortable seat.
I love this channel! Keep up the great work!
All the tray tables on Frontier planes are not small. If you’re looking for a larger tray table you can find those in stretch row seats 1,2,3, 12, and 13 on their 320s and 1,2,3 ,13 and 27 on the 321s. If they increased the sizes of all the tray tables on the flight, added WiFi and recline, these will then add weight to the aircraft which will in turn contribute to the burning of more fuel which leads to ticket prices surging. Concisely, you can always find tickets on Frontier starting from $20 and lower because the planes are much lighter and burn less fuel than all the other airlines in the USA. Those airline who utilized, burners and ovens for hot meals, WiFi, reclining seats and so on are much heavier and ticket sales are always i the hundreds. If you’re looking for a bargain without all the added perks you’ll find that on low cost carriers like frontier and spirit. If you’re looking for a bargain with added perks, you won’t find that anywhere. Unfortunately, they very rarely go hand in hand in the aviation industry. If your comfort is more important to you than safely arriving at your destination for almost the same cost as catching an Uber, frontier is not the airline for you.
Love those bright white LED landing lights!
It's fun watching these types of videos- I know almost the entire Frontier crew from working there (well, I did at the time of filming) and getting see what it looks like after hours is pretty cool!
I travel for business, so most of my flights are booked with less than 2 days’ notice. I get the emergency row about half the time. I usually check-in at the counter, and maybe its because I’m 6'2" 200lbs, but the get that row with the extra legroom without asking. The best legroom ever was the first-row main cabin of B757 where you enter/exit the plane.
Amazing report! Nicely done 👌
Your the best RUclipsr in the whole world and you make me want to play with my Frontier Airlines toy
At least sprit is putting seats with bigger tray tables on their new planes. I wish F9 did the same.
Nice video. For a short moment you can imagine traveling yourself.
Greetings from Germany
Always a great report peppered with humor and of course music 🎶 👍 I’ve done that last thing of the night...last flight...last cab at the airport. Next up would have been sleeping at the airport. Ha!
Thanks a lot! Yah if ya don't mind it all, taking the last flight can be a big money saver!
I love how you said uh oh baby alert at 13:31 :D
Remember to keep in mind about your capacity stats. Rows 1,2,3, and 13 are sold as Stretch seating (black diamond padding) for a total of 24 seats across the 319,320, and 321 fleet. Row 27 on the 321 (although more leg room) is sold as an economy seat as it does not recline or have black diamond padding. Other than that, good video!
I love PVD!
Nice video man! I live in Massachusetts close to the border with Rhode Island and flew on Frontier to Tampa from Providence back in December and was pleasantly surprised by them!
Same but I’m near BOS
Your printed commentary is hilarious and upbeat. That flight attendant sounded sleepy. I think it's hilarious when a FA announces the wrong city.
I flew frontier to Vegas and it is quite far from a bad experience. The seats are super firm. However it was a comfortable 2 hour 25 minutes flight. I would be happy to use frontier again even if it’s a business trip. The real test would be a 3+ hour flight on frontier to really see how the seats are.
I was a little disappointed that this was at night I finally come across a video involving PVD wanted it be in the day time so I could see more oh well happy to see the video
Sorry mate, I definitely want to go back to PVD at some point and hopefully during the day. But I do agree with you, there aren't a lot of videos from Providence for some reason on YT 🤔
PVD must have some sort of 'Twilight Zone' thing going on--you arrive just after 1am,make your way from the gate to baggage claim, then outside in the freezing cold, moments later,Poof! Daylight as you drive to points unknown! Perhaps Providence has their own version of the 'Midnght Sun' :)
If it weren’t for Frontier, all of you haters couldn’t travel as Delta and American would charge you $900 for this same trip. Like they used to do.
Man you already got me hungry from that Burger King :(
interesting...
Great alternative to going through Boston it’s only 1 1/2hrs from pvd to bos.
It's funny how they check your temperature make sure you have a mask on stay 6 feet apart in the Jet Bridge and then they jam you in 8 in from the next guy in the plane
Je suis français, j'apprécie vos vidéos, je suis de l'autre côté de l'atlantique, j'aimerai venir un jour visiter les states, pour découvrir un autre continent, une autre manière de vivre, so long. Patrick from France 🙏😉
Nothing beats a super early shuttle bus ride to the airport especially when you’re going on vacation
I live 20 minutes from providence ive grown up in Rhode Island basically my entire life and yeah providence is very old and historic like a lot of New England
I sure hope things get back to some semblance of normalcy soon. Because PVD has lost business in droves like every airport. However the airport has lost airline service also. Delta is gone, Norwegian is gone and a few smaller ones. I hope Frontier keeps serving Rhode Island.
Delta never left. Frontier did.
Not really a red-eye if it arrived at 1:04 AM. If it arrived at 4 AM then it would count as a red-eye
I love spot the jaguar!
Providence is also my home Airport
Back in 2021, I flew Frontier from Orlando to Newark at night, and the flight went pretty smoothly, and I believe I went on a red-eye flight
My hometown airport is providence tf green airport in Warwick is the airport we fly in and out of
I took the same flight on Southwest in 2016. By the way this is not a red eye flight.
Cool video
You took this flight one day before my birthday
do a trip report with qfs aviation, theplanesguy, LI Flier and itripreport sometime please
Omg did u here the flight attendant say 2 doors up front two in back 4 in middle but the a321 has 2 on each side!!! shes talking about an a320. long day

Nice
nice job!
i detect you are seated near 1 of your favorite types of pax
I went to orlando and saw those trains too buetufil airport
I think I’ll stick to Alaska if it’s okay with you bud. I like airplanes with tray tables
Don't blame you at all! I love Alaska
I have never seen a tray table so small
I have been to providence and there airport is pretty small it’s not very exciting
I agree 100% Logan airport is way better
How many hours was the trip?
That decrease at @12:59 used to scare the shit out of me. Im used to it now. Can anyone tell me why they do this?
They need as much thrust to be able to take off, but once in the air they decrease the thrust to maintain speed but also save on fuel burn
Well, on the ground the rotation speed is around 130ish kts, then it gets to about 250ish under 10k ft. In order to not overspeed pilots/ap will reduce throttle, which is the sound. Btw I love when that happens because you get that drop feeling lol
And in certain areas it's for noise abatement.
Its the airplane switching to climb thrust

Yoo cheers bro
I used to take my kids to the airport to ride those trams in Orlando airport and they ended that due to the 911 attacks. We also liked going to the gates and watching the planes and eating lunch at the food places. This country has turned to crap it is not a free country anymore you can't do anything that is fun anymore. And anything that is fun cost big dollars which not many have. It's just a total SH&^ country now. It is nice to show how things go in real life how people service planes and all at the gates. How they push back planes and do baggage and food trucks pulling up to the planes. I feel sorry for kids growing up today you can't do anything that we used to do in the 70s. You can't be a kid exploring the world. Real sad.
I got frontier tickets for 1100 dollars cheaper than my normal airline delta
No masks or distancing at the airports & inside the aircraft????
Was filmed in January mate :)
Those trays....... 😆
That check in line looked SO miserable. Yuck!
If be staying at Disney for the night

Raleigh is a pretty interesting place u see stuff u dont normally see what i do not like about raleigh-durham, those god-awful window lines ruins every perfect airplane picture.
Lol totally agree! RDU is one of my favorite airports in the US...but HATE those window lines :D
I heard by some people that Frontier is the worst airline in terms of tray table size!!!!!!!
Tbh they're not serving hot meals either :/
Spirit and Allegiant have the same one on some of their planes I think
First!
Dmmslo
JaweaiAqii
1.5 of kids talking ......no thanks
I heard that Frontier is an awful airline!
