Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati or Shillong Airport
Upon arrival take some time to relax and soak in the surroundings. Enjoy a leisurely stroll and explore the vibrant streets. Don’t forget to visit Police Bazar, where you can indulge in some shopping and witness the unique style of the locals. Wrap up the day with an early dinner, as most establishments close by 9 PM.
Day 2: Start your day with a delicious breakfast and embark on a journey to Cherrapunji. Along the way, make sure to stop by the magnificent Elephant Falls and enjoy the breathtaking views. Post lunch visit the mesmerizing Wahkaba Falls. Return to your hotel and get a good night’s sleep, as the next day promises thrilling adventures.
Day 3: Rise and shine early in the morning to witness the awe-inspiring Nohkalikai Falls. Head to the Double Decker Bridge in Nongriat.
Day 4: On this day, start your morning by visiting the magnificent Arwah Caves. Following that, embark on a scenic drive to Kongthong, also known as the Whistling Village. Spend time interacting with the unique locals and return to Cherrapunji in the evening.
Day 5: For the final day of your Meghalaya adventure, you have two options. Option 1: Explore the mesmerizing Wei Sawdong Falls, where you can soak in the natural beauty and tranquility. Alternatively, you can choose Option 2 and embark on a long drive to visit the enchanting Phe Phe Falls and Krang Suri Falls in Jowai. After an exhilarating day, return to Shillong with a lot of unforgettable memories.
