What is the Best time to visit Meghalaya? When we can get moderate waterfalls along with clean water in lake/river or under the waterfall? Can I visit Wari Chora on October/November first week and get all these? Please reply.
Best time to visit Meghalaya is from Nov to April. December and January is the peak season and you can expect crowds but you will get clean water lake/river. November first week would be a great ❤️
Monsoon is not the right time if you want to witness clean blue waters. Plus these areas are prone to landslides so avoid October first week. Instead plan for November 🙌
If we want to visit from Shillong is it possible to cover as a day trip or night stay is mandatory nearby? And which place do you recommend for a night stay?
It’s a 2D/1N trip. It takes around 9-10 hours to reach Emangre village from Shillong. I would suggest to stay at either Baghmara or near Emangre village. There are few homestays available there, book in advance to avoid last minute rush.
Last 50% of trek should be carved out properly. This place has potential of becoming a famous tourist spot but firstly approach trek must be made atleast walkable.

We were there in the month of December last year. In September you will get rain, so I won’t suggest you to travel as these places have frequent land slides and the water level also increases
