  • In this video we take Pat through a lesson on moving from the mid court to the net. He is a very good net player but sometimes struggles transitioning from the mid court.
    We also take him through different scenarios he may come across in doubles and how he should respond to them. PLUS, how this works with his partner.

      Add one to one coaching to your game to really improve. Perhaps these guys should add a bit on how to contact them for private lessons.

    This was very useful, not a lot of badminton channels do these in-depth lessons with an actual student. Would love to see more of these.

      @TheBadmintonZoneHQ  5 месяцев назад

      It would be the same but it’s important the pace in the backhand drive is still high otherwise it could be too easy to hit the lift. Pleased you enjoyed it, thanks for watching. 👍

    If I am a rear player(much weaker partner) should I move to the middle instead of committing to the net?

    • @TheBadmintonZoneHQ
      @TheBadmintonZoneHQ  8 месяцев назад +2

      Good question, you may decide it’s better to drive the shuttle down the middle which makes it easier for your partner to move in, the other option would be to play a soft block to the middle or cross which will allow your partner more time to move forwards and take the net, then you can come back into the mid court, hope that helps 👍
