Discover the unique aesthetic of this black PVD version with its dark blue gradient dial and contrasting black bezel, following the collection's signature sporty yet bold appeal.
Wow that is one sharp looking watch. I really like it. That blacked out look is chef’s kiss.
Plus its an affordable model win win
Bought a Seastar 36mm for my son. His first grown up watch and we are both very happy with it. Quartz, 300m, quick release bracelet, milled clasp £315 delivered. Hoping it will last till uni.these Seastars are great.
I do believe they offer great valve Jim 👍🏻 at 315 it would of been rude not to
I'm surprised no one has commented on the fact that you strategically filmed this around 10:10 so you and Bob both had watches displaying the perfect time for your wrist check. Brilliant planning and execution.
That was all down to Bob I had nothing to do with that ;)
The only problem with this is the SEASTAR font looks an early 90s sci-fi film logo font
LOL it true Robert
Thank you so much for the awesome review, going to head in today to purchase the watch after watching your in-depth review:)
Thanks Chris let me know what you think of it 👍🏻
I brought this Seastar 1000 40 mm 3 weeks ago. Exactly this Blue/Black. I love this watch 2 months ago, and I go to the AD but no stock. Ordered and wait for 2 weeks and put on hand 3 weeks ago. Everything perfect except the 12 O clock triangular mark not lump. But I am not dive, so, a small problem only. Thanks.
Hi sir the pip on the watch I had was lumed
@@ClickSpringReview No, I mean the triangular mark on the Bezel, your are not lump too as in the video.
The triangle isn’t lumed you are correct sir but the pip in the center of it is sir 👍🏻
@@ClickSpringReview Oh yes, I have double check it. The lump is weak, I have to shine it be a light tube for a while, it come with lump. Thank you.
Anytime Sir
Great video as always ! That dial is awesome
Yeah I do agree with you there
Great , my Seastar 2000 I bought 2 weeks ago, I must say in 14 days my watch is running less that 1-spd, 11 seconds lost over 14 days is better than cosc specs fantastic I cannot believe how accurate that watch is.
Thanks impressive Alan
Cracking review. Mrs HD thinks the dial looks a little like bark and reminds her of Grand Seiko. It’s a little busy for me with a lot going on in terms of finishing. Strap looks good and works well.
I cant see were she is going from with that 🤔👍🏻
Question for the experts: Do the black cases suffer more from everyday knocks than the ‘raw’ ones?
I'm assuming that the black is an overcoat that could come off if scratched, or is the whole case (inside) really black?
It's only a coating so can be scratched off, I find Breitling to have one of the easiest wear off and Sinn the hardest. Ive seen one or two watches look great when this happens as it give the watch real character
Nice looking watch. Dark Manta x Orient Raven vibes, but with a thoughtful strap. Perhaps Tissot are learning from the Chinese/allowing their Chinese factories freer reign on the design. Either way all good and can't wait to see them for sale at half the RRP soon. If only they'd plough into their amazing back catalogue then Tissot would be a force to be reckoned with. But, Swatch politics. Nice, succinct review as always.
I dare your right about the RRP as there always deal to be had with Tissot
I would prefer this one over my Seastar 2000m
I need to review a 2000 at a later date 👍🏻
I compared them side by side, Seastar 2000 is a way too big on my wrist.
I understand that maybe I’ll do a side by side comparison at some point
Nice watch
It is a good looking model the blue and black are just 😎
Nothing to get excited about but it’s a competent watch at a great price however reading between the lines would choose the quartz version
I like the watch but the only downside for me as a watchmaker is the escape wheel and pallet fork
Not bad Barry, not bad at all...
Yeah for the money it’s a pretty cool watch Bob
@@ClickSpringReview I'm just a bit concerned by the escapement. It sounds like a maintenance nightmare designed for ease of manufacturing and low cost.
@@robertlock6041check this video out think it’s about 4 mins in. It’s a great watch but from a watchmaker perspective though ruclips.net/video/0VKoZ_Bdd7M/видео.htmlsi=hDiuPN3zUl9HHS2r
@@ClickSpringReview Wow! I didn't know that it was plastic: I'm glad that I bought a Muhle (and a Sinn) and not this. I assume that the plastic escapement parts are replaced in a service. This is always assuming a supply of parts, that is! I shall watch Kalle again! Thanks for this Barry, LG Bob 🍻
Yeah they would be but unfortunately we don’t have access to them. But I dare say it could be replace with a metal escapement but that would add around £100 to the price if the service
I have been waiting for a 40mm Seastar automatic as the 43mm are just too big, but they seriously dropped the ball here. The cheap mineral insert is horrible. I would have bought one if it had the nice engraved ceramic bezel insert like the 43mm models.
I still think it looks great it’s just the movement for as a watchmaker could be improved
Same here, I wish it is ceremic bezel too😢
@@brolyvi1211 So that would stop you from buying the watch ? At this price point what offer black watch would you go for Sir ?
@@ClickSpringReviewI think this is a fabulous looking watch and great review btw. At this price point there is a lot of competition from well respected microbrands. Just a few examples, Wise Adamascus GMT ($720), Henry Archer Akva (about €520 with their discount code), Nodus Sector Deep ($600) would be my choice of alternatives! I’ve owned quite a few Tissot watches over the years (T Touch series and Moto gp) and have a soft spot for the brand.
@@rossdev Never heard of Wise, Archer and Nodus are brands I see of Facebook, After looking at all 3 I'd go with the Wise , Ps I had the first Gen T Touch back in around 2000 ish
it's mineral
Cheers 👍🏻
I really like the blue dial and case size 40-mm, but alas Tissot so cheap by not equipping it with butterfly/deployment clasp. That pin buckle just looks so chirpy cheap one 😢
I don't mind the buckle Max as butterfly clasp unless done wight suit dress watches more and clasps at this price point aren't that good
Six lines of text on the dial?
I want a watch, not an undergraduate essay.
I dont mine it myself but I understand were your coming from
The worst background for watch presentation I ever seen !!!
😂😂😂😂
HEY #nkuwan I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
