Thanks for this and good luck with the birds. I am following in you footsteps with my G9 and 100-300 but I usually try and avoid the Dutch rain. For me the next few weeks will be all about tulip photography...
Congrats on the new camera btw and passing the driving test. I remember some RUclipsrs saying the DR up to ISO 800 wasn’t as good on either the GH6 or G9II (the trade off for higher MP and better high iso performance) would be interesting to hear your thoughts on that once you’ve shot more. Don’t hate on the Irish weather too much, if like me you’d spent 4+ years in a big city like Manila with high temperatures and high humidity you would miss the air back home 😅
Thank you-I’ll definitely look into that, I haven’t noticed it in regular shooting but I’ll work on a test to have a closer look I usually like the typical Irish rain, especially after a heatwave. I was just hoping for a dry spell, just an excuse to head out with the camera again!
Just curious. If you've used the original G9 can you please give me your impressions of how the G9ii feels in the hand compared to the original G9? Thanks.
I’ve used the original G9 for a long time, honestly I prefer the feel of the original in the hand - but I think that might just be that I need more time with the G9ii
