Dr. Mew is amazing, I can't believe he is being ridiculed and pushed out by dental/orthodontic societies. Probably because this would disrupt their industries if everyone became aware every day.

It IS critical!! I messed up the crystals in my ears in summer of 2021 by not breathing properly. It took 4 months to get it resolved. You bet I watch my breathing now when working out..

@@CriticalbenchHello Coach Zach. It’s 10:20 pm my time and I do have to say, it wasn’t that bad keeping the tongue in that position. Every time I felt it move I would start make that clicking sound which would then automatically position the tongue to the roof of my mouth. I don’t have a breathing issue but I am doing it for the facial part. Gravity is our worst enemy as we get older. Thank you for your help.

@@TheIndiangoonerall people that have breastfeeding have naturally this posture it's not about suction, the to tongue is a huge muscle that when the closes and relaxes like a spring so it fill up the whole mouth

Thank you very much. I see all the while i am releasing my tongue from upper jaw position for air however, it looks like i have messed up the natural upper tongue position for nasal breathing. I will do my best to retain back the tongue to it's original upper position. Thanks for sharing the details.

Hello! I wear clear retainers so I'm worried about tongue thrust and I can't seem to find the place where to put the tip of my tongue even when saying 'n'. When I swallow my tongue also then has to get a bit off the roof of my mouth so i lose the place where I initially put the tip of my tongue. Any way I can fix it?

  • @a.st79

The position of the tongue before the click is not the right mewing at all. The tip of the tongue is too far back. To do mewing correctly, say "ringgg" and swallow the saliva several times. This creates suction. The tongue before the click as you show is in a different position.
