Dr. Mew is amazing, I can't believe he is being ridiculed and pushed out by dental/orthodontic societies. Probably because this would disrupt their industries if everyone became aware every day.
I need to train myself to keep my tongue at the roof of my mouth while I’m sleeping. Thanks for publishing this video I’m going to look for more information.
Thank you so much!!! I’ve been waiting for a video like this for years and within minutes I started breathing correctly. And I’m definitely buying that posture book
It IS critical!! I messed up the crystals in my ears in summer of 2021 by not breathing properly. It took 4 months to get it resolved. You bet I watch my breathing now when working out..
@@CriticalbenchHello Coach Zach. It’s 10:20 pm my time and I do have to say, it wasn’t that bad keeping the tongue in that position. Every time I felt it move I would start make that clicking sound which would then automatically position the tongue to the roof of my mouth. I don’t have a breathing issue but I am doing it for the facial part. Gravity is our worst enemy as we get older. Thank you for your help.
@@TheIndiangoonerall people that have breastfeeding have naturally this posture it's not about suction, the to tongue is a huge muscle that when the closes and relaxes like a spring so it fill up the whole mouth
Thank you very much. I see all the while i am releasing my tongue from upper jaw position for air however, it looks like i have messed up the natural upper tongue position for nasal breathing. I will do my best to retain back the tongue to it's original upper position. Thanks for sharing the details.
Thanks alot! please bring the video how to eat/swallow as soon as possible! I have big problems with digestion because of swallowing to much air i think.
Hello! I wear clear retainers so I'm worried about tongue thrust and I can't seem to find the place where to put the tip of my tongue even when saying 'n'. When I swallow my tongue also then has to get a bit off the roof of my mouth so i lose the place where I initially put the tip of my tongue. Any way I can fix it?
When I force my tongue to roof of the mouth I get shoulder/neck pain. How do I avoid? It seems I am using these muscles to get my tongue there. I had a tongue tie - released last year.
I have been doing this my whole is just basic anatomy when you close your mouth and breathe through your nose tongue automatically fill the whole mouth so touches the roof of your mouth
The position of the tongue before the click is not the right mewing at all. The tip of the tongue is too far back. To do mewing correctly, say "ringgg" and swallow the saliva several times. This creates suction. The tongue before the click as you show is in a different position.
Sirr I can just get one side of tongue on the roof of my mouth because of which my one side is quite good than the other side will you plzz sir help me wht should I do
For some reason, when I do this I can't breathe from my nose. And when I force myself to breathe from my nose I end up make a snore. What am I doing wrong

@@Criticalbench - WTF is "crystal in the ear"?
You’ve brought this series during hay fever season, but this season will pass but the knowledge will last & I thank you!
My pleasure!
So true what you said about modern science. It’s about time.
Will start doing this immediately.

This video is excellent. You put a lot of work into this. Thank you.
I like the suction click trick, haven't heard of that one yet. Thanks!
You’re welcome!
@@Criticalbench How long is the suction expected to last? The trick is nice, but it wont last even a minute.

I love this! Thank you! I loved the bit about traditional chinese medicine!
You’re welcome!
Doctors could tell you this but instead just throw inhalers at you with heaps of side effects, this helps me feel like I don’t even have asthma

Might be something to consult your family doctor about.
I've watched so many videos but if there's one thing that I still can't do it's new while asleep. Any tips?
Thankyou
What about after jaw surgery to try and open the upper airway? Sometime it feels like my tongue has to stretch forward to reach the “spot.”

Probably because your nose is stuffy
Yeaasss finally, thank you, as dumb as it sounds, I’ve been searching for the proper tounge position
Glad you liked it!
