This is good advice. So many young people today dress for failure. When I go for a job interview I always wear a suit. When I do orientation or any other job related functions, shirt and tie because I was raised old school like this. Most of the time I see people 5 + years younger wearing casual to both things. Not good for them.

In that context, I think of business casual as not wearing a suit, basically blazer and slacks can be different colors and you still wear a button up shirt that's tucked in, most likely no tie and you can wear those loafers but I'd do it with visible socks. Dad looks great either way just saying!
