"People are gonna have fears driving behind those logs." Nailed it. Literally the entire generation of American (probably non-American too!) millennials are terrified of driving behind trucks with logs, metal pipes, etc because of this exact scene. Literally the entire generation. 🤣
Yep, Englishman here. I absolutely cannot sit behind logging trucks or anything of the like without feeling anxious because of this movie. Heck even a van with a ladder strapped to the top spikes my anxiety lmao.
This, all day. We were just driving down the hill behind two pickup trucks full of logs just loosely piled in the bed and all I could think about was how one could just fall out and bounce off the road into our windshield and kill us. I immediately passed them when we reached the passing lane (on a winding narrow road) just because I felt like it was a sure thing that a log was going to roll out and bounce in the road. This movie planted those fear seeds.
This franchise affected me when I was younger but in a low key way lol like I thought about what shirt I was gonna wear just in case I later ate a hot dog and got ketchup and mustard on it
Name-checked at the top! Fun reaction, guys. I told you it was better than the first one! -- good on you for catching early that the pregnant lady didn’t actually die in the opening pileup. -- I appreciate you noticing all the small touches foreshadowing events throughout the movie. Although you missed one. The magnetic letters on the refrigerator read, “Hey E” as in Evan, the character’s name. But then the “H” falls into the Chinese food container, leaving the word “ey E”… and the character ultimately gets the ladder through the eye. Booyaa! -- you are entirely correct in identifying what makes these movies work: the audience participation as they try to guess how the characters are going to be taken out… only to have it come in a most unexpected way. -- she has pearly white teeth because she’s an actress, Hannah. 😉 -- you saw in the comments section that Timmy was supposed to be younger but the studio couldn’t stomach the idea of killing a kid that brutally. Interestingly enough, we had to drop the plate of glass twice. The first time the wooden dowels that we’re keeping the dummy upright didn’t break, leaving his legs standing. It was ridiculous. The second drop was much more successful after we scored the dowels. -- Thank you for recognizing Rory (aka actor Jonathan Cherry) as the fountain of comedy gold in the movie. I love that character as well. -- “Like sausages!” HA! -- Yeah, the baby was not a newborn. Check the comment section. -- “Viagra if you don’t like the look of it.” Available now at a t-shirt shop near you. Glad you enjoyed the movie. Please continue to FD3. It’s very well-made, not as fun as this one, perhaps, but certainly brutal. Have at it! Best, CP
I actually left a separate comment, at about the same time you did, about the EYE clue on the refrigerator lol. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to watch these reaction videos. I have definitely enjoyed these movies. Final Destination 1, 2 and 5 are my favorites.
Fun Fact: That car crash scene was almost entirely practical. The main use of CGI was for the logs because the real ones didn't give enough bounce, the other was adding the cops face in post and removing the wires for Eugene's bike stunt. All the cars were driven, flipped and crashed by stunt drivers. That's the part of what makes this movie my favorite of the "Final Destination" franchise. Also, 20 years later and there's still an entire generation of people who won't drive behind log trucks because of this movie. I think of this movie everytime I see one!
I think that made the accient more realistic, and thats why it scare us, not that a plane dosent scare us is that accidents are there every day. Plane crashed not so much,
The ladder death is actually the most accurate death of the whole series. For the 22th anniversary some injury law firm did a study and found that 4,000 people have died that exact way
That's very true most ppl have no idea how easy it is to go thru somebody skull thru the eye socket. A ladder that size is heavy enough to crush and entire skull from 1 foot high
Apparently, the character Tim was originally nine but New Line Cinema didn't like the idea of showing a little kid getting crushed by a large sheet of glass so he was made fifteen instead which does make it weird having a fifteen year old chase the pigeons instead of a nine year old.
8:15 hannah's anxiety straightup giving her tourettes "rub my belly, rub my belly ... see loook, im aladdin.. rub my belly, ~genie~ " ash employing therapy's most effective new technique
This movie is anxiety inducing. A month after I saw this movie I was hanging out with some friends drinking. Some of us were riding in the truck bed, when I started noticing things. First I saw a car with a wobbly wheel. Then I looked over, and the guy driving next to us was drinking a beer. Then I looked up and saw a billboard that said "Accidents?" I was convinced we we're all going to die.
This was such a nice reaction! Hannah's squeals are so funny, lol, I do the same thing when I'm cringing. The 3rd one is my favorite; hope you react to it soon.
Rory is the best for sure. I love when he messes with the guy in the lift. And that scene right before he dies , about his mom , that really hits the feels.
What’s funny is I believe most people already side eyed trucks carrying things like logs anyway and we got through it saying it’s just in our head. Then Hollywood put our shared subconscious fear on screen and that’s a wrap. 😂
The Final Destination films are all so enjoyable, I think you're in for a fun experience overall. The creative kills are the star of the show no doubt. Also, can I just say, this reaction has probably the all time best Hannah expressions. I think some gifs have just been born lol
This is one of the best ones out of the franchise. The high way scene is still very traumatizing to me still after 20 years. Lol I hate the freeway and I always think of final destination 2. I remember going to see it in theatres at the age of 15
Yes please continue with the Final Destination series! 3 and 5 are good, the 4th one is the worst out of all of them. Also how about reactions to Terrifier and Terrifier 2? Those movies have the most gruesome, violent, and disturbing deaths I've seen in a horror movie, EVER. No neck Hannah and no neck Ash will definitely be there for those films. React to them, if you dare!
@@DonnaCPunk the only remotely good thing in that movie was the Rube Goldberg style event that led up to that massive explosion of the movie screen. Everything else like you said was a poop pile.
Oh Lord... I think Terrifier2 especially would just about finish Hannah off. I'm 53 and I've been watching horror films since the first Alien movie came out and I saw it on pirate video, and Terrifier 2 made me want to vomit at least twice. I thought I was immune to most things, after all these years of being a massive horror movie fan, but apparently not lol.
Can't wait for you to check out 3rd one. I like all the final destinations, and I think most fans would agree when I say 1,2 and 3 are easily the best ones of the franchise. The 3rd one is actually my favourite one out of all of them :)
I think you would enjoy reacting to John Q (2002) staring Denzel Washington, if you have not seen it already. A powerful underrated movie that shows how the love of a parent knows no law.
The news footage of the crash in the beginning was sold to this movie by a helicopter news pilot from my hometown in Tennessee. People were not happy about it bc it was footage of a pile up where a lot of people died
I can’t wait for you guys to watch the third one. It’s my second favorite of the series. I was surprised how good it was, 3 films in to an unplanned horror movie franchise.
for the greedy part, i'ma shatter your mind, he just won the lottery, and instead of getting take out food, he decided to eat left overs. so spot on from hannah XD also, we need you to watch the rest of the series, plz.
I still don't understand why the hell you didn't continue this series. Especially the best one that was the masterpiece of this series. Same with SAW series.
Clear was always meant to die in an explosion. She disembarked Flight 180, which exploded. Alex intervened to free her from the trapped car about to explode. And then Death finally got her in the hospital explosion.
Fun fact for any video game fans: That fellow Eugene is played by TC Carson. You might recognize his voice from the PS2 era God of War games He voiced Kratos. Listen carefully at (20:47) you'll hear his voice 😉.
I've always thought that the reason all the kills in the "Final Destination" film series are so gruesome is because Death has to make sure the intended victim doesn't have a way to survive along with no chance of the intended target being revived. All the traps tend to be foolproof with the victim having no possible avenue of escape. The one chance of survival only comes when someone acts as an outside force, and intervenes on behalf of the target. "Final Destination 2" is a great continuation of this movie's story. "Final Destination 3" acts as a good, solid, standalone story. The fourth film in the series, "The Final Destination" is the only time they ever drop the ball, but it's still worth a look. "Final Destination 5", the last film in the series, does a good job of redeeming the franchise from the previous movie. It has an awesome, opening, credits sequence that serves as a call back to the previous entries as well as bringing a fitting end to the everything.
I loved this so much! I kept pausing and going back couple seconds to make it last longer 😅 I could literally watch you guys all day. The 3rd is pretty good 😊
Hey @just trust ash I’m watching y’all’s saw videos and I just subscribed to your channel I think you guys reactions are awesome and keep doing what your good at I believe you have the potential of becoming a very famous RUclips creator
Yes - great reaction! This is the best Final Destination for sure! In the first, you saw the events building to each kill - in this, you see things building up- but then they die in a completely different, unexpected way: it's like Death puts back-up plans in on each one!! Been SO long since I watched this one, can't believe that I totally forgot the leading lady was my girl A.J Cook! - she's fantastic in the series 'Criminal Minds'!
Y'all be cracking me up with your commentary and reactions. I can't wait for you guys to react to FD3. It's definitely a fan favorite, and the death scenes are the most brutal of all the franchises.
Final Destination 2 raised and at the same time, traumatized an entire generation of kids, which included me. In fact, I remember being 9 years-old when I saw the movie with my family even, if you do not believe me. Therefore, you must imagine how terrified I was, while seeing this film haha.
I’m a truck driver and even I won’t drive behind a logging truck because of this movie 😂 I was driving a couple weeks ago with a logging truck in the middle lane and there was like 12 cars in the left and right lanes and NO ONE behind the truck hahaha
The best part of these movies is seeing what type of death Rube Goldberg machines the writers thought up lol Definition for those that don't know - a Rube Goldberg machine is a chain reaction-type machine or contraption intentionally designed to perform a simple task in an indirect and overly complicated way.
Hope you see this reaction, Craig Perry! This was great, watching Miss Hannah's manic fidgeting to cope with the anxiety! You guys should watch Denzel Washington's Deja Vu. It's a few years old now but really good to watch
This was a year ago but guys, Craig Perry is known to comment on EVERY final destination reaction, I've seen a lot of different final destination reactors and every single time they shout out craig perry because he comments on them! Still does to this day, The raggady pack is a new reaction channel and boom he still commented, the channel "you me and the movies" shout him out as the greatest producer in the cards with an arrow because he commented on their previous reactions before they watched FD3 , and there are 2 more i've watched, the most obvious shout out is a channel i forgot the name of, but after watching your reaction, i was like omg He did it again lol
The tension during the highway scene is so well done. The signs plus not knowing when it's all gonna happen. Good sequel. And I loved that Clear returns for this one.
Ash you already know tthere are a lot of people that refuse to drive behind any truck with any logs, pipes, or cylinder shaped objects in the back!! 😅😂
The scene with the glass falling haunted me for years and somehow led me to work in this industry. Now I tell everyone everytime to follow the safety rules and never try to catch a falling glass. It will just crush you. We had deadly accidents in the past. Gladly it was before my time.
Subscribed. You two are gold. I love your reactions. What was up with Hannah’s yelps?! LOL. I also felt gutted when I first saw this and Clear died. No OGs left. 😢 Keep them coming. moar!!!
Alex died from a loose brick falling from a building. My guess is that it was Clear's turn and he pushed her out of the way and ended up getting hit instead.
Seriously, came here to say what I see a lot of other people saying as well. An entire generation of us, who saw this when it came out, refuse to drive behind trucks with ANYTHING stacked like that. ALL of us. I didn't even feel like this movie was super good, but that scene dictated my fears this many years later.
This movie is the reason why I will never travel behind a logging truck. Also in the third movie the roller coaster is based on a roller coaster that I went on shortly after that movie. And the hand rails moved. I hung on for dear life.
I was with my mom on the highway when a logging truck pulled infront of us. I asked her to kind of hang back a bit, just give him a nice bout of space. She asked me why and I kid you not I flat out told her "because i've seen Final Destination 2!"
It was indeed gratifying seeing the trauma set in. 😜 And no gagging or vomiting. This was a good time I laughed throughout. "I hope he doesn't die." 😏 Splat! I guess I should finally subscribe, I've vetted you long enough. 😘
I still think this one has the best opening, the crash scene is amazing. If Craig reads this I just want to say all of us appreciate it when creators can enjoy this kind of content. It won't always be flattering but reaction content is a great tool for creators to learn, but to also have a good time watching people enjoy your work, its a great pat on the back most of the time.
8:02 this by far is my favorite Final Destination reactions ive ever seen. Hilarious watchin you two squirm in anxiety just as i did in the theaters when I went to see this. Great reaction video guys!!
“Brain capacity could only stretch that far.” You’re my new best friend with that and gave me the best line for my husband when he…idk…is experiencing lower brain capacity. Yes 👍
I never stay behind a truck with pipes, logs, or anything like that anymore. I gun it and get way in front now. Hate elevators, too. For one reason...THIS MOVIE! The first one was good, but this one left a permanent scar on the way me and my wife drive. Great reaction as always.
this movie, single handedly traumatized multiple generations. i full believe those who do not pass a log truck have never seen this movie. i also believe that if i speed to pass one and get pulled over because of the speeding and explain to the officer about the log truck... that there is a pretty good chance ill be ok lol
Fun Fact: Alex Browning was originally written to had died from a spider-bite, blade of the ceiling fan, and even a flesh eating virus. But they decided on a falling brick to head as his cause of death.
"People are gonna have fears driving behind those logs."
Nailed it. Literally the entire generation of American (probably non-American too!) millennials are terrified of driving behind trucks with logs, metal pipes, etc because of this exact scene. Literally the entire generation. 🤣

I was in a travel bus once that had a log come trough the window at night on a dark bit of roadway. Not fun! 😰😰
Hi, here from India. We here still try to avoid driving behind log trucks just 'cause of this darn movie! 😅
Canadians too lol
This, all day. Yet another movie that traumatized a whole generation, this time about traffic on highways. Honestly might be the strongest opening of this series.
This franchise affected me when I was younger but in a low key way lol like I thought about what shirt I was gonna wear just in case I later ate a hot dog and got ketchup and mustard on it
It’s made me more aware on the highway for sure😂 better than any safety video I watched during drivers Ed
A few people walked out during it. That's when I knew that Highway scene was a masterpiece. 😂
Yea hands down Final Destination 2 is the best one and scarred every single person forever that has seen this movie

Hope you see this reaction, Craig Perry! This was great, watching Miss Hannah's manic fidgeting to cope with the anxiety! You guys should watch Denzel Washington's Deja Vu. It's a few years old now but really good to watch
This was a year ago but guys, Craig Perry is known to comment on EVERY final destination reaction,
I've seen a lot of different final destination reactors and every single time they shout out craig perry because
he comments on them!
Hannah's freakouts are hilarious 😂 love it
At 16:11 you can immediately see the exact moment Hannah lost her faith in pigeons 🤣
My God the reactions to the deaths are funny as hell. Half the time Hannah looks like she's taking the mother of all shits🤣🤣🤣
The tension during the highway scene is so well done. The signs plus not knowing when it's all gonna happen. Good sequel. And I loved that Clear returns for this one.
Ash I've got a symbolism for you and it is "just trust ash is the G.O.A.T" 🔥
Greatest symbolism ❤️
Holy hell, Hannah in this video is pure gold xD Could not stop laughing xD
DIEING cuz of her facial expressions 16:04 to 16:15 i cant lmfaoo
I died at 8:30 Hanna's twitching and Ash's reaction LMAO
‘Tell us what you want Craig…’ ;)
Ash you already know tthere are a lot of people that refuse to drive behind any truck with any logs, pipes, or cylinder shaped objects in the back!! 😅😂
WE NEED MORE FINAL DESTINATION REACTIONS 😂
It’s hilarious everytime she tries to guess what’s going to happen she says “oh it’s the eye it’s going in the eye” every single time 😂😂
The scene with the glass falling haunted me for years and somehow led me to work in this industry. Now I tell everyone everytime to follow the safety rules and never try to catch a falling glass. It will just crush you. We had deadly accidents in the past. Gladly it was before my time.
@25:11 omg you don’t know how much it hurts to hold my laugh in right now 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
2, 3, and 5 are easily the best in my opinion. I like them in different ways.
Subscribed. You two are gold. I love your reactions. What was up with Hannah’s yelps?! LOL. I also felt gutted when I first saw this and Clear died. No OGs left. 😢
Keep them coming. moar!!!
25:59 Hanah laugh after Sausagess kills me :)))))))))
Alex died from a loose brick falling from a building. My guess is that it was Clear's turn and he pushed her out of the way and ended up getting hit instead.
i’m hoping they watch all of the Final Destination!!
Hannah reactions are priceless 🤣 and Ash mocking her is so hilarious 🤣
Hannah had me in tears. She is hilarious
I think you guys should watch all the final destination movies. They are great. Ive always loved em.
We been had fear of being behind logtrucks that log through the windshield is the most notorious death in the whole series
She asked me why and I kid you not I flat out told her "because i've seen Final Destination 2!"
i dont know what's wrong with me but i do find final destination series one of the best comedy i have ever watched
I agree wholeheartedly.
If you liked Final Destination, I think you would love Battleroyale by Takeshi Kitano - very interesting japanese film.
U guys reactions to the deaths are hilarious
Hannah's reaction really made my day 🤣🤣
8:02 this by far is my favorite Final Destination reactions ive ever seen. Hilarious watchin you two squirm in anxiety just as i did in the theaters when I went to see this. Great reaction video guys!!
Hannah at 10:12 is priceless. It's like she's tasting something bitter like an intense lemon.
“Brain capacity could only stretch that far.”
You’re my new best friend with that and gave me the best line for my husband when he…idk…is experiencing lower brain capacity.
I got to give to Hannah. When the guy in the apartment starts on the accident moment, Hannah goes full blown "Anxiety mode."😂😂
Fun Fact: Alex Browning was originally written to had died from a spider-bite, blade of the ceiling fan, and even a flesh eating virus. But they decided on a falling brick to head as his cause of death.
