Our Holden VE-VF Commodores here in Australia, great clear to machine polish it's medium hard and easy to make look great . I don't mind new Kia's either when there new , there decontamination wash of the ship at the port is with a mop or broom .. easy to remove scratches under LEDs in the dark ..
Thank you for showing those extensions! Almost all polishing videos show big flat test panels. I’d guess that’s only 70% of the car, the other 30% is small tight spaces. I never understood how pros got into all those spaces. I’d like to see videos on odd shape panels- more curves and angles. Cars these days seem to be covered with body lines and creases - those edges give me nightmares.
Hey Brian, Harbor Freight now has a new Bauer 20mm Dual action polisher that they are comparing on their site to the Rupes LHR15ES. I'd and i'm sure many others would like to see a review. The sku is 56367. Keep up the great videos.
I have no least favorite. I only work on my own cars and I enjoy it. Thanks Brian another amazing and informative teaching video. That Hummer looked amazing the before and after was something to see.
You are a detailed guy no pun intended 😁I would have you work on my vehicles anytime. I can tell you love what you do. I just got the Adams battery air cannon/Vacuum it was $90 came with one battery 🔋 I didn’t try it yet. The Tac systems moonlight is on back order will ship on the 20th.Thanks for all of your excellent tips ✊💎
Have you ever considered a shop tour? Your detail videos are obviously invaluable, but I'm sure lots of your viewers (myself included) are interested in the shops layout & organization.
Hey Brian…I have a Marolex foam sprayer and I have a very dirty white car with a ton of road grime caked on. What would your go to product be for a pre-treat to use in the foamer? Thank you
hey brian thanks for the info i have learned a lot from you my question is i bought some 3m 3000 trizact disk 15 in a pack with a 3" foam block to learned wet sanding on a junk panel how long each disk is affective for sanding when do i know i have used the disk enough or how long you use it on a car for tipical correction shine some light on my way on this topic please so i don't throw a good disk or i don't try to work with a trashed disk some guidelines please again thank you so much for the tips and trick you are my biggest help when it comes to detailing specially on paint correction also i want to attend your training program when becomes live again i am an hour away from you thanks
Brian, I just upgraded to Rupes DA LHR15. Stupid question but can it become a rotary by using some attachment? Also could it become a "nano" rotary ? I cant justify the cost of their new nano which I would like to have for interior trim so after watching your video, it got me thinking but I lack the experience to know what, where to look for these attachments if they exist. Any advice is kindly appreciated. Thanks again for the great video!
Awesome visual effect between the finished back passenger door and the front passenger door! And looking amazing the finished results! Have not done many different kind of vehicals. But I was offered to do a big size semi-truck once but backed off on it as it where too big of a project for me personally. Needed to be useing high ladders and thinking of ways to reach every part of the paint had been a challenge. And since not proffessional and also with a physical disability it would take to long and be to hard on my body and injuries LOL. Many of the special vehicals and supercars looks to have so many different nooks and crannies and panels reaching deep inside of the car body. That they looks like a nightmare to be doing thoroughly corrections on them generally speaking. Brian have you thought about to get a regulator to put between the air hose and the pneumatic polisher? With just a little wheel knob it gets easy to have speed settings on the polisher and also quite easy to adjust the speed setting on the fly. Just a thought to make the polishing easier and more ergonomical if you polishing with it for a longer time. But that's maybe what's not makes it to necessary to have as you don't polishing with a tool like this for a longer time. Beutieful work and video Brian!
So what would the difference in time of been if you had used a dual action polisher for majority of the bigger panels? Say a 17 or 21” orbit polisher? I’m guessing you could of still got the same results just doesn’t cut as fast?
Excellent as always, my only question to get a handle on timing. Without filming or speeding what is a good time frame to get around that car in polishing time ?
@@apexdetail85 Hi Brian 4-6 hours is a one step or including cut and polish? I also notice when you use the rotary in this video you only go one pass when you cut. Is that how is done with rotary?

Brian I have a '02 jeep wrangler- never had the orig paint worked on Problem is Its got a bad case of some type of overspray on the hood I tried going over it twice with the rotary wool pad combo with sonax cut max & it didn't help hardly any-- none really Should I try and wet-sand it?

What are your least favorite cars to detail?
I guess any vehicle with a hard clear coat. I haven't done any yet.

Another thing one could do cut down the number of polishers in the cart is to just get the new Flex pxe 80😁👍🏼
I love me some Flex!💪
Stellar job Brian! Curious to know how much do you charge for a job such as this?

I have regulators at the wall outlets...sometimes I get to occupied to remember to turn them down a bit.
@@apexdetail85 nice and can be usefull as they have a lot of power those small pneumatic polishers.
Awesome Brian! How long did that take you to correct?
A little over 6 hours.
Amazing transformation but then I started wondering if a shinny Hummer is just plain wrong?
Good point.
What do you about avoiding the rubber between the doors? Or some have lips on them to avoid bumps when opening?
Tape them up. 3M precision

Same results...in a longer time period.
Where can I get that extension at?
You make it look so easy I need a 15 or 21 mm polisher which brand you recommend?
I completely agree with HJ👆
Excellent as always, my only question to get a handle on timing. Without filming or speeding what is a good time frame to get around that car in polishing time ?

For over spray...try claying first. Then polish.

Wear do you suggest buying the trizact discs?
They are pretty reasonable on Amazon for $36 for 15 discs if that helps you.
Can you use a 5” bp with the m550?
absolutely....not designed for it. But it can easily take it.
How many hours did the entire process take?
A little over 6 hours.
great video and content good friend. u 4got ur extension cover.lol.b well good friend.
I only use that cover on the "totem pole" extintion i have.
What sanding block is that?
from an old 3m headlight restoration kit
I believe he had that block from a previous video that it was left over from a headlight correction kit, maybe Meguiar's.
Ok. Thanks guys
Apex!
Lmao a cart full of polishers 💥😆💥
OMG you did all the work but boy am I tired. That was a bit¢π.
What a nightmare. Don't have all the tools for this one.
