- The Volkswagen Touareg is a large SUV that competes with the BMW X5 and Volvo XC90. However, the Touareg is only a five-seater, but with a lusty V6 diesel it's a good drive on and off-road. What do you think? Let me know in the comments! SUBSCRIBE and join our car community! www.youtube.com...

I love my 2016 Touareg TDI! A highly underrated vehicle.
Ron is your car quick? I am about to purchase one, but am considering this Wolfsburg edition instead. Thanks
@@jeffburgess8022 Hey Jeff, Yes, my car is quick. The diesel has plenty of grunt. I really happy with its its overall performance.
@@ronnoble4104 same, even though I've only got the 150kw engine, you floor it and it really pulls
I love this car!
Very good review and also good car
Thanks a lot Predrag!
I have a 2011 lux US version but it’s missing so many options this model is stunning.
Are you going to review jeep grand cherokee trackhawk and dodge challenger srt demon ?
The next generation will be great value for money
The new one really should have had seven seats though
Im seeing this only now and it was discontinued sadly, and the 2020 new ones wont be in North america
@@Manyak420 can you please explain more
Wish this was sold in US.... This exact version, not the dumbed down one VW sold here before the scandal
you guys get the new VW Atlas tho. A very nice car that is also pretty affordable
Royal T I'm from Canada and Canada sells the Wolfsburg edition
The Atlas is better at most things, but not all things. Fuel economy, most notably. The US Atlas VR6 averages 11.7L/100km. The Touareg Wolfsburg (down under, according to CarAdvice) averages 7.4L/100km. That's remarkably more efficient. You'd pay more upfront for the Touareg, but at least you won't be stopping for fuel all the time.
None of this really matters, though. The 2017 Touareg will be the last year for the car in the US. The Atlas is completely replacing it.
@@simonesik2679 no we don’t, In Canada we have only VR6 gas Wolfsburg Edition
Macquarie Park, interesting.
Thanks
V8 should be standard with options for twin turbos
repeat after me: TOO AAH REG....which isn't an English word.
looks same like the 2011... did this has 245hv?
Any chance you could test drive the Ford Everest or the Holden Trailblazer?
I'll work on organising both for you Sukhjeet. Thanks for the request.
Do Touaregs have an ANCAP rating?
don't know, but 5 stars from Euro NCAP.
WOW car
I can buy this now for less than $ 40,000
Tiguan has 520 liters boot and Touareg has 580 so no, new cars are not that much space efficient, you've just didn't check your facts properly.
The Tiguan's boot is rated at 615 litres VDA, so I did check my facts properly.
Oh, now I know where's the problem. You/VW call Tiguan Allspace just Tiguan in US. I found 760 VDA value.. but the point is that Tiguan US is just stretched version of Tiguan EU called Tiguan Allspace in EU.
I rather buy used Toureg for 17k€ than these box shaped new ugly models..

Are you going to review jeep grand cherokee trackhawk and dodge challenger srt demon ?
GC Trackhawk yes - Challenger no, because at this stage it's not imported to Australia.
Thank you I am waiting for it and I have watched many review on youtube . But you are the best and nobody like you in reviewing cars
When reviewing the grand Cherokee could you see if they have fix their problem with the moose test ?
