I appreciate the fact that he mentioned the direct differences between the nescience of today’s (2000-2020) concept of scripting to be *flashy* whilst truly genius writing makes you think and want to think, solving puzzles and making sensible assumptions and weighing probabilities for an outcome. I love how Fincher takes the writers approach to visually telling a story. It reminds me so much of The way stories were told in the 50s, it was through conversation that issues were resolved and lessons were learned. I applaud that technique as a visual artist myself.

OK since watching this series as soon as the first season came out I mostly watched analyzis videos, I love true crime documentaries, or global interviews, directing writing essays and all, but watching this long, solo interview of Jonathan, I really love his energy, enthousiasm, obvious and genuine passion for ACTING, not money or fame (at least, not only, not at the core), but for the art itself, and he's such a fan himself, be it of cinema in general or Fincher, or musical theater.. plus he's so nice and seems really humble, not "relatable" in a cringy, fake,way.. I'm gonna keep watching interviews of him

im hoping they get other well known serial killers in season two, gacy and dahmer were late 70s too. so they would be good additions. and obviously bundy - he too was a 70s. not sure of ramirez (i think he was still young tehn) or some of the others. there is btk that they are going into, but there are others that are lesser known, like ridgeway who was also active then. i wonder if they mention zodiac who was a 60s-early 70s killer. my only problem with btk is that he began in early 70s and ended in early 90s, and in the show its late 70s, so timeline is off. they shouldnt be able to catch him, rather they should just identify him and name him 'btk', and then down the line they can actually show radar.
