How cool! My Mama taught me hula to this version as a teenager! Love this version! How blessed you are to have him as Ohana 🤙

Who is singing? To anyone who knows the most beloved Hawaiian singers of the latter half of the 19 th century will immediately recognize the voice of Dennis Pavao. It is obvious the accompanying singer singing with him in falsetto is Dennis himself, dubbing over his voice. It is just plain not fair that this the greatest and most popular of singers of Hawaii (even better than Izzie in my opinion) Dennis, was taken away from us at the age of 50 in 2002 due to a brain aneurysm. Subsequently I published a book :Eat Right For Life: by Dr Raymond Schep, in 2010, explaining exactly what the cause of aneurysms is and how to prevent them. Sadly this book is completely ignored by Doctors, but you don't need a doctor, just correct the underlying nutritional deficiency of the nutrient copper in the diet or supplement it.
    Wikpedia :
Dennis Pavao (July 11, 1951 - January 19, 2002),[1] was one of several Hawaiian musicians who, during the 1970s, led a Hawaiian music renaissance, reviving Hawaiian music, especially "ka leo ki'eki'e," or Hawaiian falsetto singing.
