Steve suddenly has such a pretty swing by the end of this lesson - I hope everyone getting these lessons puts the work in to practice what they were taught.
I hope to see the biggest change in Steve!! I know he has more and I hope that Ledbetter can get the swing in a better place and someone help him on the mental part of the game
@Whole.truth.fitness i think a lot of that is just his back. He has said why he cant hit the range or why he has to sit back in the cart often. Hopefully this repairs something.
Steve has short term discipline, he’s already back to where he was before this lesson, it was the same issue he had whenever Grant gave him lessons. When Steve starts to be more committed and grind the takeaways from his lessons he’d be miles better
I used to think Leadbetter’s swing plane was way too sharp. Now I’ve been working on changing my swing and take away. All maki g sense to me now. Unbelievable legend
I’ve been playing for a year and have back issues as well. I got multiple lessons and recently have found a better and more appropriate swing and it has done wonders for the back. Great watch and relatable for me. Thanks GG.
Man. this was more helpful for me personally to watch than the video with Garrett since I struggle with nearly the same. What a great instructor David Leadbetter is
Of all the GG members, I can relate to Steve's back issues along with disjointed swing. This lesson compared to the others made more sense in looking at my swing. Great work GG extra and big shout out to DL for coming to the channel.
I hope the whole team gets lessons from leadbetter. These david vids are some of the best current golf content out there. This is beyond fantastic. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💯 oh and that straight away must still be in beta because I don't see it for sale.
i deal with a lot of back pain similar to Steve, so seeing this makes me excited that i could also find a swing that lowers the impact on my back. gonna give this a try!
I recently started synchronizing my hips with my arms and the swings travel so much further and the contact is so much more crisp. Now I can add the part about locking the chest position from this video and possibly sharpen my shot that much more. Awesome video guys.
Loving these videos. I've gotten something from everyone's lesson I can apply to my own swing. It's evident the new clubs and swing lessons have improved every Good Good player.
The GG guys are getting to a point where they are all putting up good golf and being a true threat to their competition. More lessons like these and the next Major is gonna be a LOT closer!!
The problem is Steve doesn’t really care that much about getting better lol. He likes golf but his back bothers him a lot and I think he just plays mainly for the content and to hangout with his friends.
What he said ^ These guys have all the tools they need to be incredible golfers but they simply just don’t want to put the work in. Disappointing as a fan of GG, but it is what it is.
@@randymiller7876 considering this has been steve's full time job for 2+ years, has all the money and time in the world for lessons, equipment, traveling, practice, dude could be way better. But this version of him is more entertaining to watch love steve at the end of the day
@@warrenlu6724 he literally has talked about him not being able to play because of his back. He cant practice cause his back. He doesn’t play golf until goodgood weeks when they film. If he can get his back straightened out then he will be able to put in more effort. And also, pga players literally get paid to hit golf balls every single day. They play rounds and hit range balls daily. The goodgood guys don’t have that luxury.
I love how simple he made this lesson. I watched the video he did with Garrett and took the lesson to the range and it completely change my iron shots. I was all over the place with my irons until I watched this lesson. I almost always toed my irons before and it was rare for me to pure one, now I'm puring them most of the time with a toe shot once in awhile. Of coarse I still have a miss hit here and there but I've hit the center more than ever before after practicing this technique. Thank you guys for putting this out there.
Great, seeing this from David is a eyeopener, simple and down to earth. Season in 2 Months, will practice this for sure. Go get the boys Steve😀. And to all of you, begin with some Yoga, open up your hips and low back and u will feel and see a difference in a short time.
Steve is a good student, you can tell he's really interested in getting better. Can't wait to see if Leadbetter can make an impression on Bone-head Bubbie's wedge game!
This is so helpful for me, Steve and I have literally the exact same issue, roll the takeaway inside, too far from the ball, awkward impact position for my back.
Steve probably needs recurring lessons to keep him on track but even a 30min session with a master like Leadbetter is better than nothing. Notice how David talked to him about syncing up? What does Steve do better when he slows down his tempo? He syncs up better. That's what Leadbetter is getting at.
The best part of this for me is hearing that 3/4 backswing would be better! I've got a similar build to Steve as far as broad chest. I always want to pull back far, thinking i'm gonna rip it farther. All it's doing is killing my back too. Time to make some changes of my own! Great lesson. Keep em coming!
That's what I think is funny for us, amateurs a lot of us have arm overrun which makes syncing up the downswing tough. I definitely notice it with my game. 3/4 with sync arms allows me to just swing hard at the ball and not hope the arms catch up.
Wish I had learned this years ago, I might still be playing. Had to give up golf a few years ago because of back issues (maybe from swinging the club wrong?). Maybe if all the snow here in Idaho ever melts, I'll try again this spring.
Now that this is out it all makes sense. The videos they filmed after this all show steve with a much improved backswing technique and method, I thought they must have done a lesson with him because he was playing a lot better.
Steve dude, good luck with the back pains i hope this lesson helped you out a ton and helps to lessen the strain that it causes on those paraspinal muscles
I’ve noticed that hitch in his swing for years. What surprised me is he never pursued fixing it before even with all the resources available to Steve and their group.
The video of the start of his takeaway is so flat. I used to have that until I got a coach this year too. I’m only in my 3rd year into golf. Excited to see what I score when season opens
I'm wondering if the "moving through the ball instead of under" is similar for driver too? does this all translate to driver or is there some differences because of the driver setup?
I def wanna get my hands on that tool he uses to help visualize the take away! Hope this helps Steve with this back and helps him improve his game! Double win
This is the 3rd or 4th time I have seen him use this straightaway device, does anyone know if or when it will be available for the public to purchase? In all the videos it helps them find the perfect takeaway and fixes there swing in minutes. Sure would like to have one!!!!
Steve suddenly has such a pretty swing by the end of this lesson - I hope everyone getting these lessons puts the work in to practice what they were taught.
I don’t know if Steve puts practice into anything lol
😅v
Leadbetter. The man can watch you swing one time and fix you.what a gift! Absolutely amazing! The man has ascended!
I hope to see the biggest change in Steve!! I know he has more and I hope that Ledbetter can get the swing in a better place and someone help him on the mental part of the game
Dang you believe in Steve
The glazing is crazy
Personally I see in Steve that he's the most affected out of the group by tech.
Hes an awesome athlete clearly. But lacks focus.

This information is spot on. All these new golf how to swing videos coming out every week is bull crap. This is the truth.
As a fellow twingy backer, I freaking loved this.
Sports safe tips are a t’ing!
Much appreciation, lads.
This was the best lesson. That’s exactly what I do and I can finally take something to the range
Steve has so much potential. This is a good start. He needs to slow his swing down and remember that 2 piece backswing he showed him.
Best golf coach and teacher ever.
I hope the whole team gets lessons from leadbetter. These david vids are some of the best current golf content out there. This is beyond fantastic. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💯 oh and that straight away must still be in beta because I don't see it for sale.
At the end of the video he mentioned March
i deal with a lot of back pain similar to Steve, so seeing this makes me excited that i could also find a swing that lowers the impact on my back. gonna give this a try!
I have the exact same problem! I'm going to try this at the range tomorrow. Thanks David and the team.

Awesome video guys.
Loving these videos. I've gotten something from everyone's lesson I can apply to my own swing. It's evident the new clubs and swing lessons have improved every Good Good player.
So nice to see a great teacher helping a struggling amateur golfer and the simple changes were so interesting to see in action.

@@bmxican0704 yea i mean pga players get paid by how good they are, steve makes the same money no matter what so i don't blame him
I hope this helps Steve’s back. Back pain is miserable for a golfer.
I love how simple David makes it with the initial simple move, I feel like I have the same problem! Good Luck Steve!

Me too. It’s completely changed my game. I shaved 10-15 strokes off of my score
Not even gonna lie, this fixed my swing. I went from barely hitting the ball to stripping it every time! Thank You!
I agree with JT below. What a gift. Thanks David for the lesson to all of us watching....
That last ball made me get up and grab a club. Beautiful. Just flush, and so repeatable. Hope the back is feeling better, Steve.

I related this so much to my swing. 17 and already have back problems since years back. Can be a game changer
David Ledbetter giving steve a lesson a top golf trumps everything. STEEEEVE!!!
Congrats on 300K boys! Keep it up with the awesome content!
I love watching all of these videos. He seems like a great teacher. Where are all of the videos filmed? Ty
I hope this helps with Steve’s back pain! I know he is still going to have it but if swinging like this causes less stress that would be fantastic!
I love seeing you guys killing it at life
Steve is a good student, you can tell he's really interested in getting better. Can't wait to see if Leadbetter can make an impression on Bone-head Bubbie's wedge game!
Out of everyone there this was the most important for Steve primarily because it could alleviate his back pain/pressure. This was IMPORTANT for him
Tried this and my swing immediately felt more free and controlled. Love this kind of content
These are the best vids on the channel
Steve’s the man, Stay focused and keep having fun
This is so helpful for me, Steve and I have literally the exact same issue, roll the takeaway inside, too far from the ball, awkward impact position for my back.
If that lesson was before Dubai, it clearly paid off. Very cool that you shared the lesson on video.
Hope this really helps Steve with his back issue and let's him play more and better golf without the back pain
I can't wait for golf season to start. I miss it so muchhhh
That was great. Thanks guys
Great instruction!!!!
Excited for this video! I've got Steve's swing....just missing his skill.
Great vid, great old teacher. Where do you guys make your caps? Looking for a good maker, preferably in Holland
Leadbetter the ultimate salesman
jarrett does have a really good take away

Ledbetter - absolute legend
The lesson we’ve been waiting for.

All it's doing is killing my back too. Time to make some changes of my own! Great lesson. Keep em coming!
You should try Jon Rahm style. He doesn’t take his arms past waist high. He’s a big guy too and it works for him.
That's what I think is funny for us, amateurs a lot of us have arm overrun which makes syncing up the downswing tough. I definitely notice it with my game. 3/4 with sync arms allows me to just swing hard at the ball and not hope the arms catch up.
Great advice. Add a little bowed left wrist at the top and you will love it!
Steve the athlete! LET'S GO!!!

Awesome lesson
So helpful, I have the exact same problem!
Let’s go Steve! 🚀 🚀 🚀
STEVE FOR PRESIDENT
If Steve figures out the golf swing.. WATCH OUT!!💪💪
for?
Great video could you please tell me where I could purchase one of those little straightaway devices ?
You can even see Bubbie in the next spot over working on that straight away drill
No more back pain! Good Good.
Steve brings it. Takes the feedback and you see the results!
Now that this is out it all makes sense. The videos they filmed after this all show steve with a much improved backswing technique and method, I thought they must have done a lesson with him because he was playing a lot better.
I love how everyone has too much respect to correct him when he calls Garret Jared lol

Steve was genuinely thrilled at the end of this video
This is great.
Looking great

Steve doesn’t care about getting better or practicing. Insane to me

Love it Steve you need to catch up to Bubbie
I hope we keep seeing competitive Steve from Dubai!
the best reward for anyone on the squad
Watching Full Swing and it struck me how much fun a LIV vs PGA event Ryder Cup Style (Norman Cup?) would be. Hope wwe get there some day.
Great content
I hope David gets to help Matt.
I'm wondering if the "moving through the ball instead of under" is similar for driver too? does this all translate to driver or is there some differences because of the driver setup?

Do you know where to find that training aid?
@@evanmickelson6975 I don’t. If I remember the first video with Bubbie, he said it’s a prototype
Good luck!!! Onward and upward!!!!
Let's go Steve!
How do guys like Finau etc make an inside takeaway work
The thing is he needs to remember it and don’t doubt it. Every single shot just focus on what works
Yip Jarrod has a good takeaway👍🏾
Does anyone know where you can get hold of the training aid used in this video?
Where do you buy that straight away tool?
Hi good good I love you guys
Steve better put some respect on all that yeah yeah yeah right , right, yeah talk

Sure would like to have one!!!!
Let me know if you find out lol
In the video he said it'll be available around March
does anyone know what app Leadbetter was using on his phone to analyze Stephen's swing?
never underestimate my man steve!
Oh no...Steeeeevvvvvveeeeee don't leave us G ⛳
Where can I buy this helping tool?
