This is an excellent Arsenal side. The post George Graham era and the most successful Wenger's tenure at the club. This was a masterful performance by Patrick Vieira. He was an epitome of an excellent defensive midfielder. His endeavour and dynamism made him one of best midfielder in his era. He was one of the maskersteers that composited the best Arsenal side ever assembled. Now, we can only recapitulate the enchanting moments of that epoch.
Wenger was tracking Yaya Toure at Monaco and everybody was telling him to sign him and he just did nothing and let him go to Barca. Much like Arsenal had a chance to re-sign Anelka from Bolton in 2008 and instead let him go to Chelsea where he helped them win the league.
