Press and HOLD the voice command button on the steering wheel for 2 seconds and you'll get your phone assistant rather than the cars one ;)
Good review!
Ahh! Much appreciated. Thanks for the insight.
I've had my 595 for nearly a year now and did not know that, thanks!! P.S. Your extended headlight caps are brilliant! ;)
and also connect a carlink CarPlay wireless box instead of connecting your phone to a cable as there is no specific place where it holds properly, this way I never need to get my phone ou of my pocket
I like it! Love the yellow brake calipers. Grey is very cool. Wish we could get 595 's here in the US.
I have the same but in Ashfelt grey and I love it, it’s a great fun car that sounds awesome 👍👍👍👍
I have the same in Ashfelt grey to and I love mine, Monza exhaust sounds awesome 👍👍👍
Love this video format hahaha that was fun
Thanks. Now to sort the audio format. 😅
Perfect car.
Very nice buddy! 🤩👌
Thanks Andy.
Always liked the Fiat500’s but wasn’t sure of their viability in Australia having owned a number of “foreign” cars I.e. high maintenance then I noted Freddie Dobbs in the UK has one that’s clocked 200k in miles yes miles without any major problems. Yesterday I saw a young fellow learning to drive in a red Competizione - way to go! Then I came across your video! The gods must be trying to tell me something! Defo change the wheels 😉
Haha. I like the 'challenge' (in a way) of owning the more uncommon rides in Australia. (Or at least higher running cost beasts.) I often see quite a lot of 500s that have racked up several hundreds of thousands of k's. As this is a daily, I wanted low mileage, though higher doesn't scare me.
Like anything if it's been looked after, it can be reliable. I absolutely recommend one if you're keen.
The wheels I'm torn about. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the option wheels. If I find a set with decent rubber, will buy. I need new tyres, so good excuse. 👍
G'day congratulations mate what a car 👍
Thanks Murphy. Yep, it's a great little pocket rocket. 👍
@@datbuild Great colour to mate
The best. Grey Fiat's or nothing. Though their Red is good, same for their Blue, and Yellow. 🤣
@@datbuild 😂🤣
Great video. Amazing car.
Thanks. Appreciate it.
@@datbuild You are welcome.
HOW did you manage to get the car to display a range of more than 600km? My 595 usually displays around 550 km range when it is full.
It deviates depending on previous journeys' fuel consumption.
I'm one of those weirdos who strives for high fuel economy when driving.
Use high octane fuel

For me as well, the pedals, particularly the throttle are too high off the floor.
Interesting. I don't find that to be an issue. But I do have large feet.
@@datbuild my old 595 used to give me proper foot/leg ache. It basically felt like you had to be pulling your toes up all the time if you wanted to drive around normally. Pressing on it was fine of course! Much nicer angle between foot and shin!
I had a S3 though, not as S4. Maybe they changed stuff.
Pedals have remained unchanged between generations/ revisions. We are all built differently.
Another factor for me is having cruise control now installed. I do remember the first few days of manual pedal control to be tiresome. But I 90% favour driving with cruise in all my cars.
@@datbuild CC would have been marvelous!!!
Wasn't the issue behind the 500 the Italian driving style... arms outstretched. If you pull your seat forward to compensate, now the pedals seem too close... or too high? I've read there are steering wheel extensions for that reason.
