Yeah. My suspension was decent when i got it, but the struts went a few months in. Replaced them with Bilstein B14 coilovers and it is FANTASTIC. Aftermarket suspension is a prime modification for these guys.
I daily a 2020 595 turismo. Everytime I walk up to the car I think to myself "this car is way to small and way to child like (I'm in my 40's) I smile the moment I pull away. When I park up and get out. I forget about what I thought walking up to it. I always look back at it and smile. It's just pure fun. You're right about cars nowadays just being big on horse power. Give me some corners and power that can be used.
Thank you very much! We agree :D Please share our videos on socials and with some word of mouth. That will definitely help building our community and allow us to make more videos like this!
Nice review but it's a first drive. Every person I've spoken to has the same rather shocked response at first drive but once it's a daily it all becomes much more comfy and the quirks become second nature. Incidentally, the price flag is correct but refers to the the absolute top model. The upgraded 180 bhp Competizione and Esesse are hugely cheaper. Had this gentleman reviewed the car after 20 months rather than 20 minutes I think he'd have responded differently. Most of us are welded in!
Thanks for your contribution. I would totally agree as any driver can get used to anything, and therefore become proficient (and fast!) despite any quirks. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that.. the Editor must have cut it! :-) Nevertheless, thanks for tapping in and clarifying the fun one can have once familiar with the tool.
As an Abarth 500 owner I know what you are talking about, I think its because the higher seating position, I used to own a 1995 suzuki swift GTI and I'm on the search for the same feeling when driving but the abarth couldn't deliver it, I could not feel one with the car. That doesn't mean that the car is fun. But I miss this feeling.
You‘ve been talking about not being properly connected to the car without actually mentioning the seats. Which seats did it come with? Have you tried the buckets which are available? Very good video nonetheless. 👍👍
In fairness, this 595 only fits OEM seats, but the bucketing can only do so much. Certainly being more attached/connected to the car would help the driver recognise the movements of the car, however I believe it was the suspensions which allowed for roll and delay.
Nice car but like mine they fall apart after 70 thousand miles sadly not a car you could daily drive in the UK , you know its fragile when my old 2011 Hyundai i10 shopping trolley never went wrong but after only 2 months owning my 500 the door handle fell off , the clutch and gearbox went bang costing me near £1000 to fix and suspension broke and the blu tooth system broke and ive not bothered fixing that lol , I know these are cheap cars but the build quality is very poor.
@@DriveVice 🙂👍 cheers my friend and yeah it's shameful that the manufacturers deliberately use cheap parts , built in obsolescence is what they like sad to see 😔
You are right. The Uno Turbo didn't feature the name Abarth, but it was build by that team, that's why the Scorpion logo featured here and there on the car, particularly visible on the wheels.

Sounds like a much better ride

Sports button actually has a function in this car including chugging the gas.
XD

The driving ergonomics in 595 are well known. You never get the ideal driving position. But still a fun driver's car
True that

Completely agree. The sporty Swift feels surprisingly stuck to the ground. The same can't be said for the stock 595
Im in America where people forget how cool the Abarth is! They dont treat them right here im telling you!
Maybe someone should start a pro-Abarth movement :)

You are not alone. Many manufacturer opt for cheap parts. Although, you might have been particularly unlucky.

Great video mate, I have a 595 165 B p, and I love her. Thankyou
Thanks for watching. Hopefully we'll get our hands on other Abarth too 🚗
If you want something similar for way less, go for a fiat bravo 1.4 tjet 150bhp.
Are there many left in the UK?
Use mine as a daily driver find it perfectly comfy.
Just a matter of getting used to something.
Big the council houses in France.
This will be my next car. I won't be getting any others after buying one.
Definitely capable of some great fun!
Well that is a very low spec abarth and for you I’d recommend a biposto with the dog ring.
The suspension is 100 the age of the car and the low spec.
I shall put that on the list. Very curious to experience what it can do. What kind of roads is it the best on?
Is there a spiderweb on the top right corner of your windshield 😭
It was all good until you said fiat uno abarth, theres no such thing, its a fiat uno turbo i.e, nothing to do with abarth.
You are right. The Uno Turbo didn't feature the name Abarth, but it was build by that team, that's why the Scorpion logo featured here and there on the car, particularly visible on the wheels.
Maybe he meant the Abarth Punto
Your wrong they never MADE fiat uno abarth it was just a UNO TURBO IE thats all 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
check the wheel badge ;-)
