I probably know more than and have seen more Chris Spedding shows and I am probably the same age or older..what is your beef?...in my opinion he is one of the greatest...but he does not have name the recognition or fame of a lot of the "big names" unless you are a BIG fan of his appertly like you and myself..be well Sir

Mov It: l'original est de Clif Richard de 1959. Robert Gordon a vraiment la voix pour chanter du Rock'n'roll et du Rockabilly. Dommage qu'il n'a pas eu autant de succès que les autres de sa catégorie.

Compare and contrast this version to Cliff Richard's 1958 version of Move It with the later named Shadows. I like this version a great deal. Thanks for posting.

It's a modified '71 Flying V Medallion that he bought in 1974 whilst touring with Sharks in Memphis. He originally had it modified to have one humbucking pickup, but did swap over to a P90 by about 1981 or certainly 1982. The guitar was stolen from Chris in NYC sometime in late 1986.

Robert Gordon's version of the song is louder and rockier than Cliff Richard's version. Robert makes Cliff sound plastic and too polished.
