Most of the harder-to-find secrets are likely noticed by PC gamers who look for assets they haven't seen in-game in the game files and find out how to trigger them, or are leaked by the devs themselves if it takes gamers too long to ever stumble across them themselves.
I can imagine regular gamers stumbling across the Easter Eggs that you just have to shoot some figurines to get, but the one where you have to walk a specific invisible path… nobody finds that by accident, haha

Right now I've been focused on completing Bloodborne, so I've been doing just the elusive targets in Hitman (with mixed success...). When I've tried Freelancer before it's been okay until I get to the syndicate leader part of a section. The first set usually goes fine, but I tend to screw up in the second set. I got to the final part of the second set, promptly misunderstood how those phones worked for the 4 possible targets, and let the guy who I was so certain wasn't the real leader escape (then I got killed. Yay). I did get into the habit of not bringing much with me, because of the risk of losing it all if I fail.

These two tips alone help me narrow it down far easier. At that point I try and get a phone to set up a meeting, pick out who my prime suspect is, then execute. Or sometimes I just kill everyone that shows up cause its guaranteed to get em lmao. I'm not a great player but I hope those tips help! Oh and one last thing..

An Easter egg I enjoy but wasn't mentioned and I can't find anyone mentioning it in the comments are the dancing soldiers in Marrakesh. When disguised as an officer you can go up to the soldiers patrolling the corridors of the school and dismiss them. They go through the room with the printing press and outside to a courtyard and after they all get out there a radio appears on the desk in the office and if you turn it and the PA on the music plays across the school and all of the soldiers begin to dance. General Zayden will walk out to the courtyard, step up onto a platform, and begin dancing himself.

Hitman going a bit Dark Souls with the skeleton hands popping out of the floor, lol. Love the remark on using a silenced sniper rifle. I'm not sure I've used an unsilenced firearm in Hitman yet unless you could my epic fails when playing Freelancer. Freelancer really makes me out to be absolutely terrible at Hitman and I know I'm not that bad at the game. 47 really is one of my favorite characters. I love his puns and how he delivers them without a shred of embarrassment or anything. He must spend his travel time thinking of situational suitable puns.

I love how all this insanity feels very old school easter eggs in games where no one would believe you until you try it out yourself. Also, how the hell did people find these out the first time?? Like for instance how did someone figured "shoot the good luck cat statues and then go to this specific pier to fish for a giant one to appear"??

It's been too long since we've seen that quality Hitman content here on OX. Man, these games are great - I can only hope that I/O hides Godzilla and giant Fortune Kitties and crying Golden Elephants in their James Bond title. I mean, as far as I know, I don't recall cool easter eggs hidden in their last non-Hitman games.... then again, I'm not very good at searching out random things to do to trigger them, even if I really liked playing Freedom Fighters and Mini Ninjas. Maybe I should pop them in again and have a look-see sometime...
